This team knows what they're doing-always smiling, accommodating and friendly. They have monthly employee recognition and share with the guests which I don't see in most hotels out there. Fitness room and sauna with iron/board in every room. Yes it isn't in Malmö Central but the train station is right in front & Malmö C is only a 10 minute train ride away and it gives an excuse to really get out and explore. Emporia-the local mall is across the street. Breakfast buffet is amazing and they also have a restaurant and bar area. Last bonus-you are only a 10 minute train ride from CPH airport.

Probably about as popular as Duvet in NYC (or as popular as Duvet was in the early 2000s, anyway). Who can't deny the novel concept of drinking alcohol while in bed, after all? Add the fact that you're steps away from the canal, and outside in beautiful weather, and you definitely earn some bonus points. I had a blast here last night celebrating a coworker who is moving on to bigger and better things. We stayed until the ungodly hours of the late evening (ie: midnight) skåling, and foos-balling, accompanied by fairly reasonable bottles of rosé, delicious white russians, a few shots of jager for good measure, and a late sunset over the skyline of central Copenhagen. I think if it weren't for the ridiculously inconvenient location (1km away from the nearest bus stop, number 40, and if you're on your bike, beware of the MANY potholes on the way out there), and the price of the completely underwhelming cheeseburger (125kr), I might have given it five stars. The owners of this venue would have it in their best interest to make a deal with the water taxi - at least during the warmer months - and the American cooks I heard talking in the kitchen should take better interest in their burger quality. This American was sorely disappointed by how dry and misshapen they were. Halvandet had plenty of guests yesterday, and I have to admit, laying on a plastic covered "bed" out in the sun after spending a whole day in the office was awesome. If they had free wifi, I'd "work from home" here every day of the summer. But I'd probs bring my own food. ;)

It's located on the Amager side of the harbor (opposite the little mermaid). The easiest way to get there on public transport is to catch the water bus (havnebus) line 991. The place has recently undergone a major revamp and is looking in good shape. The new owners had added a lot of new things (inside dining and a spa). The food is good, but I mostly go there to relax with friends on a good summer day.

We had rented Tøjhusmuseumet for the location for our yearly company party, and Peter from Genskabt supplied us with food, brewages, tables, chairs, dance floor, and entertainment. The food was new Nordic. It tasted good, and Peter had made a wide selection dishes. Up front the vegetarians and vegans had been asked to inform about their eating habits. The waiters sought them out, and they were informed about their special dishes. Abesolute great service at a party with more than 200 guests. The staff was service minded and very efficient. They provided the guest with wine, beer, soft drinks, and water. Eventhough they obviously were busy, they took time to smalltalk and entertain us. I'll definitely contact Peter the next time, I have to arrange a big party.
