The woman pins the shirt and sleeves and says "it'll be $29 for the shirt and $12 for the sleeves, per shirt". She asked what I wanted and I said "so you see here around the shoulders--" "I don't do shoulders." "... yeah so as I was saying, the shoulders pull the shirt so that here on the sides is too loose" "Okay, I can do the sides". At this point, the communication, demeanor, and the price was not right for us. So we asked her to take the pins out and that we're going to get the shirts tailored elsewhere. "I say the price before the pins," (she didn't) "so that people know BEFORE. And this is the old price, not even the new price. This is the old price and I said it before so to avoid this". Yikes.

Incredibly grateful for Marine and her husband in making me feel most beautiful on one of the most…read morespecial days of my life by working on my wedding dress. For some context, my dress was bought as is from a sample sale. As someone who is is not very tall in height, the dress visibly needed hemming. The wonderful team of Luxury Alterations successfully and beautifully hemmed my dress to my liking without losing its integrity. Even with the inches taken off from the front of my dress, they were still able to allow a beautiful train in the back which looked beautiful as shown in the photos. Additionally, I also wanted to be able to move around during my wedding dance and reception. Marine suggested a 5 point bustle that allowed me to move around and dance comfortably throughout the night. And she did it beautifully without making my dress look frumpy. It was like wearing two dresses for the price of one. As a budget bride, I was worried about cost as many times the price of alterations is as much, if not more, than the price of the gown. Fortunately, I was quoted a very fair price that, to my delight, was less than the cost of my discounted dress. My wedding was 8 months ago but I still look at my dress with awe and I have Luxury Alterations to thank for it.

Lily Bridal, where I purchased my wedding gown, highly recommended them, and I'm so grateful they did. My gown was a stunning Kitty Chen designer wedding dress, and together with my cathedral veil, it was an investment many thousands of dollars. It was incredibly important to me to trust an experienced alterations expert with something so special, and from the very first fitting, I knew my dress was in the best hands. Marine and her husband were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming throughout the entire process. They listened to every detail I wanted, treated my gown with the utmost care, and made every appointment feel stress-free and enjoyable. They met every deadline and every wish I could have asked for. My gown fit like it had been custom-made just for me, and I felt absolutely beautiful and confident on my wedding day. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and genuine care exceeded every expectation. Thank you, Marine and your husband, for helping make one of the most important days of my life so perfect. I will always be grateful and enthusiastically recommend Luxury Alterations to every bride looking for exceptional talent, professionalism, and kindness.
