I asked them to put some more gas in it so i could take it on a longer test drive. He said he put a few bucks in it but brought it back with the low fuel light still on. I figured they were just cheap. It sounded like the front struts were out because it would make a clunk in the front end any time you hit a bump. They took a little bit off to cover the replacement of the struts. Thet said that they had just replaced all the window controlls. After signing for it and them telling us everything was in working order my daughter drove her new to her car to the gas station to put gas in it. It was empty but when the pump stopped the gauge still showed empty. Driving home the check engine light came on and the code is for the fuel sending unit $300. She gets home and goes for a drive with her boyfriend and the passenger window goes down but not up. I had to purchase $350 in parts and spend my time and labor to get the window fixed. I had asked multiple times for james "the owner" to call me to discuss the issues but no phone call and hardly a return text. After texting him that i am going to do everything i can to warn everyone from purchasing vehicles from them i got a quick response. When i asked to talk on the phone instead of a text he said later tonight and i never received a call back. This is all over a 2 week period. I finally have had enough! Do yourself a favor and find another dealer to purchase a vehicle from. Piss poor communication, don't stand behind their product or their word! Run away from rockstar auto in zimmerman, mn. I fully understand the shortcomings of dealing in used and junker cars. I have driven them and…read morefixed them for my entire driving career (56 years). I just bought two cars from Sands Auto. They appear to be great deals for the money so far. We looked at about 6 vehicles closely and test drove at least 4. One which was purported to need a power steering box stopped shifting 5 miles down the road and just after we put $80 worth of gas into it. We had already purchased this vehicle. Bad tranny. When I called Sands fearing the worst Dave (Zimmerman) said "bring it back and we'll work things out." We discerned that the power steering box was actually in pretty good working condition. Dave took care of us, deducted the price of the gas, and set things right. We ended up buying a significantly better vehicle for a very reasonable price. If you buy a car from Sands Auto deal with Dave. He will get the job done to everyone's satisfaction. He had me by the balls but did the right thing. So I say don't be afraid to buy a car from Sands Auto. Just make sure you deal with Dave. He even returned my message while on his way to work early on Black Friday. We had no idea if the truck was still available or if we could even look at it. They highly recommend and suggest that you have to set up an appointment first. And we were already on our way by Uber. The $110 gamble turned out to be worth every cent. We all left with smiles on our face. Dave included. Happy Holidays to you and your family Dave!!! And thanks again for being responsible and displaying such integrity!!! Dave Hafner Maplewood, Mn

Everything went smoothly…read more I do recommend being ready for some hiccups or expecting to meet twice. I met with the buyer and tried to do it in one shot. As the seller, I had to upload photos of my odometer, registration, title, VIN sticker. The buyer wanted to see the car before starting the process. Once he agreed to buy, KeySavvy was not in business hours so we needed to wait until the next morning. Then it took almost another business day for the payment to be verified. Once keys were passed, I fedexed the title to Keysavvy and I had my money in 48 hours! Wish the fees were a little lower, but all worked out smoothly. Nice UI on their page. Thank you.

Then when I arrived I was told there'd be another up charge for pet hair. In total I paid almost 200 so the Groupon is misleading IMO and all they did was vacuum the car and put tire shine on the wheels. As for quality of the service? There's still dirt all over my doors, they don't dress or shine the dash/doors, they didn't even clean the interior of my tailgate, and the ketchup on seatbelt? Still there.

You DO NOT have to worry about that with Jerry's Auto. I purchased a 2017 Buick Lacrosse with 72,000 miles on it and it is everything that they said it was. They allowed me to take it to my own mechanic to have them look it over prior to purchasing it. There was no high pressure sales tactics.
