The salesman gave me a hard sell and said they would price match their competitor by 100$. They actually didn't price match because the competitor's estimate included an engineering fee and Frank's required me to pay that fee (1000$) out of pocket. Once I agreed to go with Frank's the salesman became much less responsive and it took forever to get the work scheduled. The workers also ripped paint off my siding because they used duct tape to hold back my screens and they also left these screens open in the middle of summer for hours which let in a ton of bugs. The workers also used crude language throughout the entire job. I contacted Franks three times about these issues before writing a review and got no response.

I've had three other contractors out over the past two days each of which were very informative, respectful and took the time to actually sit down with me, explain options, provide detailed account of what was being proposed and an actual estimate. This was a waste of time, would not recommend this company at all. It took a little while To get scheduled and then it took a few months to wait for the appointment. When the day of the appoint finally came, the workers were professional, reliable, and hard working. They put down floor covering to make sure they were not tracking in anything while going I and out of the basement. I moved into a house that had a very tight (8-12") crawlspace where the moisture rotted the floor…read morejoists to the point of cracking. Due to the limited access and uncertainty of how much damage existed, many companies took one look at it and didn't want to bid it. Tim was able to come up with a plan to create an access, dig out the crawlspace, repair the structure, seal it against moisture, and re-insulate it. His team did a great job in the time expected despite finding more damage than was planned. I had his team come back the next year to fix similar issues in other areas of the crawlspace on a much larger scale. There, we found many more issues that were unexpected including structural flaws and water line leaks. Thanks to his team's broad skillset, work ethic, and knowledge a huge amount of work was done in as short of a time as possible. Tim was also helpful in suggesting options to save time and money on the project by me bringing in side labor apart from his team's work. The house was torn up for this project, making their commitment to getting the job done correctly while also dedicating 100% of their time to my job was invaluable. Projects like these where the amount of work is unknown leaves the homeowner vulnerable to being soaked on cost, work that is incomplete, or a project schedule that drags on and on.
