Over 250 different kinds of beer from the usual (Stiegl, Fransiskaner) to a fantastic choice of Belgium beers (Leffe, Judas) to the downright obscure (Crocodile beer, Hoegaarden Appel). A beer lovers oasis! They also have a fantastic whiskey/whisky selection here with most everything you could possibly want, classic malts such as Oban and more varied commercial brands such as Jim Beam Extra. Also available are liqueurs beyond counting and a decent variety of ports and sherries. And the best thing about Ammersin are the prices. Very, very reasonable and around 10-20% off of any other alcohol store I have found so far. Well worth a visit!

So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...

Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. Caprese salad was tasty. In conclusion, if you are passing by and hungry, feel free to stop by. If you are looking for a memorable lunch/dinner experience, plan to visit a different establishment.
