It's fine, I guess. I'm an avid yoga enthusiast and I work in the fitness space, so maybe my expectations are too high? When I first started attending, I let the front desk person know it was my first time attending and I wasn't sure where to go and he just went "around the corner" and vaguely pointed. The teacher didn't introduce herself to me, someone else had to pull her aside and say that I was a new student. The next few times I came, the front desk people were consistently not friendly, unwilling to help, and generally not engaging when I asked questions beyond just a few "yeah" or "oh I don't know" 's. But maybe my standards are too high as someone who used to do that job? I tried to use the cold plunge and sauna too, booked an appointment, but both times I did this someone was already using the services? Even though I booked the time slot?? Because the front desk people were so annoyed at having to direct me before class, I got too self conscious to ask what I was supposed to do when someone was using a service I had booked. So I just left. Teachers don't use Sanskrit, which I usually enjoy having in a yoga class. So that was a bummer. The space is pretty but small and crowded and you are liable to get other folks' sweat on yo regardless of what time you go. I'm sure it's a great community, but I'm not interested in paying membership fees for a space that is unwelcoming and makes me uncomfortable in and out of the practice. read more

I'm obsessed with this place! I very recently started coming here, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and positivity. The studio itself is beautifully designed, creating a serene and calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. I was a little intimidated at first with trying something new but everyone has been super kind and welcoming. I've struggled with my mental health for a long time and I love that this incorporates both healthy mind and healthy body. Even though I haven't been going to classes for long, I already feel a huge difference in my mental state, energy, and even my flexibility. The post yoga endorphins are no joke so I'm coming out of class feeling energized and empowered. I'm the happiest I've been in a long time and I attribute a lot of that to these classes! Also, they have a really great introductory offer for first time students and in addition to that, they have a program where you can earn half off your first month. I love that there is no pressure, they don't push you to purchase a membership and they let you come to your own conclusion if you want to sign up or not. And instructor didn't actually do most of the yoga just instructed most of the class which is good for some but I like to follow the teacher who's teaching ..personal preference I also would like mirrors in the shower rooms that was WIERD for me to not have a mirror to check after getting dressed. ?? ZUDA YOGA IS AMAZING! 100% would recommend to anyone, no matter what level yogi you are. The energy as soon as you walk in is very inviting! All of the staff are so sweet and encouraging. Although, just because they are sweet doesn't mean they won't make you SWEAT! (: (No worries, there are showers Available) After every class My body is so Open, My Mood Light, and it truly sets you up for a GREAT day. I typically just weight train/cardio, but I have a back ground in cheerleading and hot yoga with ZUDA has helped return my flexibility, and endurance in any work out I do now significantly. Zuda yoga in rocklin is absolutely amazing! They have so many options for yoga classes at all the perfect times. Everything is so thoroughly thought out. They have weights and bands for some classes, blankets & pillows for other classes & cold towels for after hot yoga. The studio smells amazing! And not to mention the teachers are all awesome. Zuda Yoga in Roseville was a Great 1st time experience from the promo text I got offering 10 free sessions to being able to attend a class the very next day!. Though the class wasn't for all levels I did not feel singled out or anything hence it being my first time. The instructor announed there being new people in the class, but didn't single anyone out. Granted I am sure the regulars knew I wasn't a regular but to each their own. It didn'tbother me one bit. The room was extra hot which was perfect for sweating out much needed toxins and the hydrating system of water was the perfect temp for such an intense work out! I am 5 classes in, and I can't tell you how much this place makes the experience so much more personal then any workout club. The expertise and relaxed environment makes the experience even more amazing! It's so nice to not feel rushed after every class like a typical workout joint that offers a short yoga class. I have always been afraid to try hot yoga.. and going to Zuda has helped me realize I can not only tolerate it but I actually quite like it! They say you should give it around ten classes to find your grove and I think that feels correct based on my experience. Disappointing experience. I am a stay at home mom and arranged to have someone watch my two little kids so I could make a class. The confirmation email sent me the address for the east studio and instructed me to be there 15 minutes early as to not lose my spot. I arrived fifteen minutes early to the studio address provided on the email to find the doors locked and no answer to my phone calls. I responded to the email to share my experience and disappointment and received a response apologizing and acknowledging the wrong address was sent. I asked for a credit for what I paid so I could attend a class in the future and received no response. I followed up two or three times. I arranged for a babysitter, drove thirty minutes each way, all to miss a class because I was sent the wrong info. Poor customer service and very disappointing read more

Wow! Just Wow! I used to go to Zuda when they were in Roseville on Lead Hill and stopped because of Covid and everything else. I knew I needed to get back in the swing of things and started back at their beautiful Rocklin location. The 6 am class is an amazing way to start your day. Frustrated and disappointed. I started attending this studio pre-COVID. When COVID hit, we all had to adapt and I continued to support this studio by taking (at least) once a week virtual classes. I've lived all over the country, and Andrew is the best yoga teacher I've had. His classes are the perfect mix of getting a workout and also connecting with your inner self and body. During COVID I moved back home, 3 hours south. The studio moved to a new location and changed ownership during that time. To my disappointment, the new owner decided to stop virtual classes. I'm frustrated because I've offered to pay for s virtual set-up (i.e., camera and streaming platform). The new owner declined but said that she would look into getting me Andrew's library of recorded classes. Now I'm being told that it'll be at least a year before that happens - I feel like I'm just being tossed aside. I really hope Heidi reconsiders - even post Covid there would be a minimum of 7 people joining Andrew's class alone virtually. I can't imagine that this extra revenue wouldn't eventually be positive cash flow for the studio. read more

I moved to Rocklin last summer and had struggled to find a yoga studio that fit my schedule and desired fitness level. What I love about Zuda is the schedule of the classes- different times of day all week long so I can fit it in - the friendliness of the staff and fellow yogis, and the challenge I feel in the classes. Besides Vinyasa flow, I have taken Ashtanga and Yin, which were excellent experiences. I highly recommend this studio for men and women alike. read more

Meh. I signed up for 30 days so I could try their led Ashtanga classes. While I was signing up I took a Power Vinaysa Class that was starting soon. While laying on my mat to prepare for classes, suddenly Hanson's Mmmm Bop (yes, this is 2019) starting blaring throughout the studio. That should I have been my first sign that this was not the studio for me. But I tend to ignore signs, so I stayed put. Class started out fine, with some Ohhms, deep breathing, and chill music, but by Sumnaskara B, suddenly it became a hip hop yoga class and that is not my vibe. I love hip hop but don't need club bangers in my yoga practice. The music was so loud it, the teacher got on a microphone to lead the class. I tried, but I couldn't remember the sequence because all I could hear was Tupac talking about p***y and Eminem being hella angry. I gave up and walked out after 40 minutes in a shi**y mood. The sequences were super creative and challenging, but I couldn't deal with the music. I'll go back for Ashtanga to finish my 30 days. I know that the only music will be the sound of my breath. On a positive note, the staff was super nice and the studio itself is beautiful and well maintained. read more

I'm coming up on my 4th week practicing yoga at this studio, I'm in awe of the instructors and the community. I've been to a hand full of different gyms/yoga studios and classes, but Zuda has a special place in my heart. Everyone is so kind and positive. Zuda offers a variety of different classes and times. Each instructor makes you feel at ease, no matter how intense the class is, each Instructors positively encourages you to listen to your body, make adjustments as you need and overall create your own space and do what you need. It's the power and dynamic of yoga instructors that draw me to Zuda. I follow Heidi where she teaches cuz she challenges and elevates me to places I have not been, physically and mentally. The reason I give four stars instead of five is because one of the two studios is facing the parking lot and could be hard to get in the yoga mood sometimes, and I haven't tried out all the instructors just yet. Was looking for a new yoga studio and was happy to see that Zuda had moved to Rocklin. Had always heard great things. Teachers and front desk staff are very friendly and classes have been challenging. Showers/changing rooms are clean and it's easy to get into a class. Decent schedule that mostly fits my needs. Have taken a mix of classes. Would love to see them utilizing the second room and adding some additional types of classes; maybe another warrior class time or some pilates so that there is a bit more variety. Only con is that Yin is in a colder room (80 degrees) which I didn't enjoy (personal preference). Ceiling lights when on are very bright on eyes; not so much issue in summer but hope by winter they can mitigate that when lights will be on for a majority of the class times. read more

I wish I had started yoga earlier in my life (I'm 60+) but I'm glad that I found it now. The practices are as intense as you want to make them, but there is no pressure and no judgment for those of us who have flexibility "challenges." The environment is very supportive. I knew nothing about yoga when I started but it was easy to "learn by doing." This place makes me feel younger. It may be the hardest hour of the day but it makes the other 23 hours much, much better. read more

I love coming here. I have to admit, at first it took me a little time to 'warm up' (no pun intended) to the Vinyasa style. I was gifted a 10 pack of classes, and on the 3rd one, I remember thinking, "I really don't like this". HOWEVER, by the 10th class, I was hooked. I signed for the $30 for 30, and I am noticing such a difference in my breathing, my strength, and most importantly, my outlook on life. Yoga truly is a mind/body connection, and the teachers and staff at Zuda embody that philosophy. I am excited about what the journey of practicing yoga on a more frequent basis will bring to my life. I don't have enough nice things to say about this studio. There's always a little anxiety going into a new studio around new people - never sure what the vibes are going to be. I've gone to at least 15 classes here so far and I'm constantly impressed with the incredible instructors, welcomeness, professionalism and kind community that surrounds this establishment. In my 10 years of practicing I have been to dozens of studios and I have to say this one is a real gem. I always leave feeling better than when I come in. Aside from they're clearly talented instructors, the owner is truly genuine. I signed up for the first timers $10 special and was put on a waitlist. Not long after the owner and instructor, Jodi, messaged me to let me know I was in. After a really lovely class that was both energizing and calming, I asked about signing up and was told I would be eligible for 30 days for $30 and to sign up online. I tried the next day but couldn't find the offer - I was so wowed by the studio I didn't really care and just paid for a drop in. Shortly after the owner reached out, knowing I was interested in the starter package and after seeing I paid for a drop in and helped me get the really incredible deal. NO ONE does that. It was such a breath of fresh air. In a world never knowing if you're being played, where the deal always seems better than it is, this one is legit. Deal or no deal, this place is worth 10x. Thank you to all the lovely instructors I've had so far and I look forward to many more classes here. read more

I started when a friend recommended their beginner series, which is amazing. The teaches help you learn different poses and really take the time to ask if you have any questions or need help. Their all levels power vinyasa class is amazing, even for beginners like me! It's amazing to be able to practice along side people who have been practicing a lot longer. Extremely friendly staff! I was nervous going to my first yoga class and they were very welcoming and made me feel perfectly comfortable and at ease. I wasn't anticipating how hot the class was going to be and I needed to take a quick break. When I stepped outside the classroom, I was plotting my escape when Michelle and Gina were kind to me and very understanding about my discomfort. The classes are affordable and they're offered several different times throughout the day for convenience. If your an AM person or a night owl no worries they got you covered. Zuda's rookie program is only 30$ for 30 days. Because I am easily embarrassed and a loaner I choose to practice yoga by myself in front of the business instead of joining in the classes.
