I tried the lymphatic roller and I have to say it was better then any massage I have ever got. I felt like I had a deep tissue workout and the machine feels great on all body parts. The music and room felt so relaxing. I highly suggest booking an appointment as soon as you can read more

Staff were courteous, patient, supportive and encouraging to first time attendees. There was ample space, instructions were clear and everyone seemed focused on doing their best. The facilities were clean and comfortable and I appreciated the personal touches throughout including the cold lavender towel at the end of class. read more

The real deal! It's getting harder to find a true Bikram Class at 90 minutes. This studio offers several 90 minutes classes a week. The studio is welcoming and the instructors are awesome. I've been away from Bikram for a while and I love coming here to get back into my practice. Highly recommend! read more

I have dabbled in hot yoga over the years and I absolutely love it. It's been several years since I took a 90 minute class, due to being pregnant and popping out some kids, but that yoga itch has always been there. My friend mentioned to me that Body Yoga was offering free yoga classes last weekend (Jan 20-21, 2024) so I immediately signed up for the 26 and 2 class. I was warmly greeted by the instructor, Kathryn, when I showed up and was shown the locker rooms and the yoga room. The facility is extremely clean and there was plenty of space in the locker room for me to put down my stuff and change. There are even showers for after class. The yoga room was nice and toasty when I went in and maintained the heat for the duration of the class. I liked that there were 2 doors in the room so when the instructor let in some air during class, I could get some cool air relief from anywhere in the room. The class was great and I was surprised at how well I was able to remember a lot of the postures. The best part of it all were the cool lavender scented towels that were passed out after the class was over. Such a nice touch and felt so good on my hot sweaty face! I'm always addicted to hot yoga after taking a class so will be looking into getting a class pass so I can continue my practice. read more

Well kept and beautiful studio, same with the ladies locker room....the instructors and the owner are involved and genuinely passionate about the practice. I was nervous heading into the studio for my first bikram vinyasa class, but Traci Davis made me feel at ease with her professional, enthusiastic and helpful guidance. I love this studio! All incredible teachers and a wonderful selection of classes. ‍ you instantly feel welcomed and at home. The women's bathroom and shower area is very nice and has a nice array of Origins products for use--what a nice touch! I've recently taken Traci's vinyasa classes, and she is an excellent teacher she is very thoughtful with her sequencing of postures and has great music it is very obvious she cares very much for her students no matter what level they are at in their yoga practice. This place by far is the best I have ever experienced... They are supper friendly, nice and they actually do genuinely care!!!! Catherine the owner of the place makes you feel as if you are part of the family... even the people go there as equally nice as if they hand pick them. Don't pay for their online class. There was no audio to the class. We could not hear an instructor. They put the camera outside the class door so that we saw the class thru a window. There was glare on the window. I could only see other students. I could not see an instructor. I left after 15 minutes. If you want an online yoga class, research online classes. Do not waste your money on this local class. Perhaps it's a good studio in person. read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews! This was my first visit to THIS studio. The owner, Kathryn, previously had a studio in Lincoln which I practiced at for some time. She is wonderful and welcoming and I'm so happy to see this studio here in Roseville. If you haven't tried Bikram before there's nothing like it. It's intense and I both love and hate every minute of it. 26 postures are practiced in succession in the heat. I do very poorly with heat myself, but over time you acclimate and will recognize how much the heat aids your practice. Don't be afraid! The studio also offers a few other class types that are a great compliment to the main Bikram style. The studio itself is great. There's a water station and a men and women's shower facility. She also has a massage therapist in house. Day care is offered at certain times as well. The studio also has a small retail section where you can purchase clothing that is good for your practice and also (the best water bottle in the whole wide world) Hydroflasks. Don't be shy! If you're interested in Bikram you should come by. It is a very positive environment and has a lot to offer you :) There is a very attractive beginner rate and an awesome 30 day challenge to encourage you! read more

Last year, I wanted to try out yoga because I heard that it fights stress and has so many health benefits. 2017 was a particularly stressful year for me so I had to find a way to alleviate my stress and learn how to relax better. I researched many yoga studios and I saw that Body Yoga had many wonderful reviews and the studio was super close to where I live (less than a 10 minute drive). Anyways, after many attempts to get ahold of someone on the phone, someone finally picked up. I spoke to a woman named Katherine. I told Katherine that I wanted to try out a yoga class to see how I liked it. She suggested that I sign up for a one month trial (limited amount of classes) for $49 a month. I agreed because I think that was a really good deal. My first class was on a Saturday morning at 9 AM. The class was for beginner students for a 90 minute session. I came in wearing yoga pants, a Nike tank top and some tennis shoes; I even bought a yoga mat but I realized that I didn't have a towel. They gave me a free towel since it was my first class; I even brought a large bottle of water too. I saw everyone lying on their towels and relaxing before the session; I laid down on my mat too. The instructor told me to take off my shoes because they conduct the class barefooted. The workout began with simple breathing exercises which lead to some gentle stretching poses then other bending poses that were pretty difficult. The instructor told me to never do something that was outside my comfort zone and the moves and poses would get easier with time. Toward the end of the class, we performed easier stretches laying on our mats. After class (sorry to mention this) I was super drenched with sweat and feeling sick too. I felt sick because I had a large breakfast that morning; never a good idea because the room is heated to 105 degrees or more and many poses have you laying on your stomach. My instructor said it is never a good idea to eat before class; she suggested to eat a few pieces of digestible fruit and lots of water to stay hydrated. Since then, I have completely learned my lesson haha. Every since after my first class, I have learned to relax better, eat less before class and bring an extra outfit after class. Classes have gotten easier with time and I have been able to nail poses that I haven't been able to do before. I love yoga and I can't imagine my life without it. I recommend every man or woman try yoga at least once; you'll be glad you did. read more
