DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING!!! If I could give this location zero stars, I would. This…read moreis the worst dog grooming salon that I have ever been to. I should have never taken my dog to this location for grooming. I am a Chicago resident but I am visiting family in PA, and I needed to get my 2y/o yorkipoo groomed. I scheduled a grooming appointment for March 2, and arrived a little late due to traffic on the highway, but I still arrived within the 15 minute grace period. I called the location multiple times while en route to inform the staff of my ETA, and to ask if they would still be able to accommodate me. No one answered the phone. When I arrived, a small male groomer immediately informed me that he couldn't groom my dog because I was late, even though I arrived well within the grace period, per Petco's policy. When my partner and I tried to explain this to the groomer, he rudely interrupted us, and told us that he didn't have time to discuss this with us, and he told us that we needed to leave the grooming area and find someone else to talk to about this issue. This was extremely disrespectful, and I can't help but wonder if my partner and I were dismissed in this way because we're Black??? We looked for a manager on the floor, but we could not find one. I ended up rescheduling my appointment, because none of the other locations in the area had appointments. I should have never done this. When I picked up my dog from his appointment and inspected him in the car, I was horrified. I had requested a bath, haircut, tooth brushing, and nail trim, but it didn't look like they groomed my dog at all. My dog had jagged lines from the clippers in the center of his back and neck and his beard was dirty. Worst of all, my dog had bloody cuts from the clippers all over his ears and his body. He was in so much pain. There were even lacerations inside his ear. This is absolutely terrible. My dog has been getting groomed for his entire life, and I have never witnessed anything like this. I called the location to speak to a manager about this, but of course, no one answered. I'm writing this review to warn other people of the atrocities that occurred at this location. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had a great experience today at the Grooming Salon here. They allowed me to schedule online and…read morethen called two days before to confirm my appointment. Sarah groomed Sammy (who is almost 14 years old now) and she did a great job, taking care to make him look just like the pictures I showed her from a previous grooming appointment at a different salon. The whole process took maybe an hour tops, and she called me right after she finished which made the process less stressful for my old man. No waiting around for hours in a cage here! Would highly recommend Sarah and this salon in general!

He was a 9 yo GS post two knee surgeries, with an arthritic back. Highly recommend this practice for rehab. Excellent clinicians and the equipment is all new. I am so happy to have found them! Unfortunately, Toby got a bad and quick moving cancer. I feel so lucky that Dr. Shannon came to my house to euthanize Toby. She gave us a dignified and gentle departure for my dear dog. Really grateful I could call Dr. Shannon.

Like another reviewer of this veterinary practice, I wish I could give no stars…read more The front desk is consistently flakey when it comes to booking and confirming appointments. Yesterday, since I travel 49 miles for hand scaling of my dog's teeth, I called to confirm today's 8:30 appointment. After 5 minutes of surly attitude, and confusion on her part, the receptionist confirmed my appointment. She never apologized for initially claiming I had no 8:30 appointment. Today, in the presence of the owner/vet, I explained to the technician (a subcontractor)who would clean my dog's teeth, that he is 15 and has (a) a luxating patella on the left and (b)lumbar stenosis. I asked her to be mindful of this when handling him. Other technicians have been able to accommodate this. She then carelessly picked him up, jamming his left hind leg directly into her hip. The dog naturally shrieked and she continued to hold him in the same manner despite the shrieking. I had to ask her to put him down! The owner/veterinarian abruptly scurried away and never came back to the waiting area as I discussed the mishandling with the technician. After determining that the technician was ill equipped to handle this very docile senior dog, I left. I was very disappointed, after traveling over an hour to get there and I felt that it was really shabby of the owner to literally run away. I was a regular customer, having taken my dog there for cleaning at least 3 or 4 times before. OK, I get it that the dental cleaning is subcontracted, but ultimately the owner is responsible for the experience there ... or should be. At the very least, she should have stayed until it was resolved and apologized for my dog's sad experience. ZERO STARS!!!

We had a plan in place with our vet, but plans change on a dime for older dogs and the day before we had intended for our vet to take care of things in our home, our pet's condition abruptly changed and our vet suggested we reach out to Paw Prints Forever as she had worked with them before. So we did. We could not have been more grateful with how they handled things. They were able to get a vet out to us that night to care for our beloved Shelby. Amanda was so empathetic and professional from my first tearful phone call to the post care following the procedure to picking up her ashes in Malvern. The vet (who I think may have been the owner I don't recall his name) showed up at the time we agreed upon and handled everything with professionalism, dignity, and grace for Shelby. They had the right tone. The right balance of helpful suggestions and space. The right approach to ending her life. The right approach for the after care to remove her from our home for the final time. It's a sad thing to make this final loving responsible decision for our pets and they were just perfect.

Losing a cherished pet is hard enough but knowing that he can stay close is a relief and a blessing. The staff made the transition bearable. Thank you again for a renewing light in a dark time.
