I have not tied this but I will be back for my gourmet shake just like I want it. Amazing!

I was stopping in the beauty supply store when I noticed this little gem. The cashier allowed us to try the bread pudding. Let me say that I'm not a lover of bread pudding, but this bread puddings to die for. It's so good. I bought a peanut butter cookie and a pineapple coconut cupcake. I haven't had the cupcake the cookie was very good as well.

Amazing cake

I just happened to be in the neighborhood and came across this jem of a bakery. The owners are really friendly and a joy to talk to. The cakes look good. I was temped to get the cake that had the syringe in it but ended up going for a three layer cake that was carrot cake with cheese cake in the middle. The carrot cake layer was really good and so was the cheese cake. The mix of the two was great. But the item that I didn't get to try was the cake shakes. They are what they are know for. I got a photo of the oreo deluxe cake shake and it looked amazing. I will have to go back to try one. Love the local dives.

Look at these cakes!

This has to be one of if not the best dessert shop in northwest Indiana. The donuts are amazing they always melt in your mouth and have just the right amount of sugar. They sell large cakes and pies if you have a big event. Healthier parfaits and fruit if want to scale on the sweets.

Delicious and decedent!!

Is this seasonal? We drove here and it's not open. Very disappointing

They’re closed on Monday’s, but they’re still open Tue thru Sun in Merrillville.

What a fun date night pop-in!…read more We finally made a trip to this establishment that opened (this location) in 2024. Cobbler! Yay! Cornelius (the owner of a marriage team) was a wonderful pleasure to meet. It felt like family walking through the doors. Inclusive, kind, knowledgeable, patient, and he endured my colorful rambling. Lol Options, Options, Options! I have never been to an establishment that had so many dessert options! Whatever you are craving in the realm of cobbler/cheesecake/banana pudding combos, you can experience it here! Wait! There's more! Cookies Brownies Cinnamon rolls... *screaming* YOU HAVE OPTIONS MY FRIENDS! So much so, you HAVE to come back. And sorry to spoil it so early (we will!). What we ordered: Cheesecake with sweet potato pie topping, and a regular peach cobbler. Banana Pudding with cherries, and Peach Cobbler with caramel pralines. My review on what we selected: I REALLY enjoyed the peach cobbler with caramel pralines. I was so happy in my mouth! Note: none of the banana pudding has bananas, just the pudding flavor. The banana pudding with cherries did catch me by surprise. Im a bananas gal! I wanted, I needed the bananas! But I will be honest and say the cherries made it fun, as they were plentiful. Only con, definitely needed more cookies. Please, cookie me. Outside of that-yummers. I found the peach cobbler to be a very safe option. Nothing bad to speak of it. I would get it again. The Cheesecake with Sweet Potato Pie, was not bad. It just didn't make my mouth sing like the others. I believe I was looking for a firm baked Cheesecake experience, and it was more of a "Cheesecake fluff". It wasn't bad. It was just a different experience. The texture of the pie pieces were under cooked(potatoes werent hard, but were not very soft either) and the fluff with whipped cream, though it was not bad at all.. it was just not for me. I/we, ate every morsel of our purchase. Cobbler (options of toppings) Cheesecake(options of toppings) Banana Pudding (options of toppings) Milk shakes (options of toppings) Churros....there may be toppings for these too! Lol And there is sooooo much more. I can't type it all! So, that means you have to go and check them out! You can get your cobbler warmed up or not. And all cobbler selections come with ice cream. Yay for ice cream! They have catering options available. I am now trying to think of a gathering to host just to have cobbler for dessert. Ha! This place is like a museum of cobbler/banana pudding/milk shake/dessert splendor! You have to give them a try! Cornelius sir, we will return, and with friends/family in tow. Too many flavor combos, too many options, too many mouthwatering adventures to be had for just one trip! Thank you for your patience, your hospitality and fun banter. We will see you soon. And as always, you don't have to take my word for it, go get you some!

Seriously. My most favorite local dessert shop. Like. Ever. So good…read more They have a limitless menu of all kinds of sweet yumminess. All cobblers come with ice cream. On. The. Side. It's just done so very well. The customer service. Impeccable. So friendly. So kind. Each one of them. The spot is CLEAN. And there is a lot for parking. I love this place.

Been in there a total of three times. The first two times, to purchase. Once a younger woman at the…read moreregister, once a middle-aged woman. The second time I went in there were some confusion about pricing. The younger woman was at the register. No big deal, she fixed it at the register, so I thought. Either way she was super nice, and was really trying to get it right. But it still felt expensive so I checked my receipt on my phone the next day since it's digital, and I was charged 99 cents each for something that was three for $0.99. I bought nine of them. No big deal, I call the shop and speak with a young man who was able to pull it up in the register and saw the price of the item we were discussing. He left a note for someone. I came in a couple days later as I was running my errands, and there was a middle-aged man there. I pulled up my receipt and attempted to explain the error, (essentially overpaying by approximately $6, or being shorted approximately 18 pieces of candy depending on how you looked at it) and the receipt reflected underneath the 3/.99, that I had paid .99 EACH for 9 individual pieces of candy. He barely glanced at the receipt, did not appear to be picking up what I was saying at all, and marched over to the register, grabbed out $6 and handed it to me. Never once addressing the confusion or validating the situation, never saying oh sorry about that! And when I continue to try to explain cuz I really felt like I wasn't being heard, I wasn't trying to like get something extra or scam anybody, he says usually when you want a refund from a business you have to bring the product in. I wasn't asking for a refund! I was overcharged, and the overcharge was even noted on the receipt! It showed I paid just under $9, for nine items when I should have paid just under $3. Did he want me to bring in the 18 items I did not receive as proof? What would have been the point of bringing the candies (that we had already consumed because why not, I had the receipt and it showed what I purchased and how much and that I was overcharged). He was just irritated. Like okay dude. Maybe he was having a hard day, or maybe he's always cranky. Probably won't go back, even though it's pretty conveniently located right near some other places we get take out. I really don't want to go in there and have to deal with him, although the ladies who'd been in their previously were as sweet as their candy. Honestly, I would have rather had him actually take a second to look at the receipt, understand the problem and apologize and NOT give me money then for him to be so irritated and dismissive. Rather than the money I would have almost rather had the candy that I did not get but with his stinky boy attitude, I was fine to just leave. I have the receipts from both of my purchase and I purchased this candy both receipts, and the first time I was charged appropriately. So I know it wasn't to me problem. They have a nice variety of some vintage candies and it's fun to browse new things. We had found some tasty things that we had never had before, and got to introduce my son to some vintage candies he had never had. But there's plenty of places to spend money where when they make a mistake, they won't act like I'm somehow trying to scam them.
