I recently had been looking to get my Mother who has been ill a Great Birthday gift that would help lift her spirits. I live in San Diego, so I have no way to buy flowers locally, so I first went through Teleflora, but to my dismay after the fact found so MANY bad reviews. Recently I sent my wife some flowers from the Plano location and wanted to include a poem that wouldn't fit in the form online so I emailed them and asked if they could accommodate that request. Do not order online. The pictures are not accurate to what you will receive. I ordered a one of the most expensive flowers for my anniversary. However, Z's Florist "substituted" the vase to a cheaper vase (defeating the purpose of buying the premium flower). Upon calling the store, the owner states "it states when you purchase that we can substitute anything in your order". There are plenty of Florists in Plano that will guarantee you will receive what you pay for. I would highly advise only purchasing the lowest quality flowers here, because that is likely what you will receive. read more

Arrived and requested a small bouquet for my wife's birthday. They said they didn't have any pre-made and couldn't help me since they were "busy filling an order". They did offer to sell me a bundle of flowers though? ( Here's some flowers-you wrap 'em up, put them in a vase or do whatever you want with them ). The chain of events is as I stated....Floral Arrangement for my mom from Z's was damaged upon delivery, enough said. After discussion, with Susan, Owner of Z's Florist, prior to my post, she agreed to redeliver the same arrangement in a different color. However, redelivery was expected today and only after i called did I find out that Susan made the decision not to follow through with the delivery. I consider this very inconsiderate and unprofessional to the fact that she would not make things right for a customer. read more

I do NOT recommend this florist. I chose this florist based on Yelp reviews (albeit for the Coit location) to order a flower arrangement for my mom for her birthday. The arrangement they delivered looked almost nothing like the pictures - I know florists have the right to substitute in the arrangement based on availability, but not one flower looks like what was in the picture! Last minute I need a delivery for a funeral. I have serious doubts it can be done in less then 3 hours way across town. I reached out to the good folks and they gave me great recommendations for a nice plant that was just right and delivered on time like I hadn't frantically heaved up a Hail Mary to get it done. They were priced very nice and the results were better than I expected. They even coached me through an appropriate message which was appreciated during an emotional time. Impressive and very satisfying experience with Z's Florist. I ordered a $40 arrangement for my parent's 35th anniversary over the phone from out of town. Having never used this florist before, I went solely off of Yelp ratings for Plano-area florists and, quite honestly, got really lucky. My only instructions were "use your best judgement and make it as nice as you can." As you can see, they did just that. Delivery was timely (within 4 hours of my phone call) and the service was very friendly. Totally reasonable results for the price. Highly recommended vender for flower delivery, even day-of. Granted, it was a week day. I wouldn't recommend waiting until the last minute on a weekend and expect the same results. It is important to note that I didn't give them any special instructions. Also note: there is a $40 minimum. TL/DR: friendly, quality service at a reasonable price. read more

Last two orders I felt the flowers died out pretty quickly. Look great for a day or so but after 4 days about 80% dead. With delivery I'm paying close to $100 and know they should last longer. I let the first one go figuring anyone can have a bad day. However on the latest delivery I emailed them with my concern. Very irritating that they give you the email and then just ignore you. I was so disappointed. This past year I have ordered several bouquets of roses. They were fantastic. I would order the bouquets with 3 dozen roses. The color of 3 dozen roses was magnificent. And the flowers always lasted a minimum of a week. My wife was always very happy. Last week her 3 dozen yellow flowers arrived and they looked great.
