The person delivering the cart couldn't have been nicer. They offered to take the cart back and cut the pole for the roof down and had it back to us in a couple of days. My golf cart experience at the Bradenton location began in 2021 when my wife and pulled in for a…read morelook around and test drove both the Icon and the Advanced EV. We did the drive down the back street and back the sidewalk. We found the Icon hit the cracks in the sidewalk way rougher than the Advanced EV which offered a smoother ride. We went back and forth in both numerous times. I'm a truck guy and inspecting the under carriage saw that the Advanced EV definitely had beefed up suspension compared to the Icon. And it was $1K less. I did over hear another customer say the Icon had more leg room. Didn't matter to us as we're both shorter people. And smoother ride was more important. The whole process went smoothly and it was delivered a couple days later and had been used daily since. (Now 2025). Just recently the lead batteries began going bad which is the expected lifespan of them. So I called them back to see what it would cost to have them switch over to lithium battery. I did my homework first and saw that I could buy the battery pack I needed for $2500 and try to install it myself. So when I called I was prepared to hear an astronomical price to have them pick it up, do the service, and deliver it back. He told me $3K. I was shocked and had to verify that this included everything, delivery and all. He said yes and they can pick it up in the morning and have it back Monday. Just over the weekend. This whole process went so smoothly. I didn't have to mess with anything. Now I have the best battery with 5 year warranty. More power, and longer drive time. We love it. It's like a new cart. Which by the way the Advance EV has had zero issues, and it has been through some rough stuff. I'm not much of a review guy but just felt they deserved it for making my whole golf cart experience wonderful from day one.
