We recently moved to Florida and our daughter wanted a purple golf cart, we saw one on the lot at Razor in Bradenton. The deal was too good to pass up and everyone that has helped us out was amazing. We dealt with Jim and Heather. When they delivered our cart to our house is didn't fit in our garage. The person delivering the cart couldn't have been nicer. My golf cart experience at the Bradenton location began in 2021 when my wife and pulled in for a look around and test drove both the Icon and the Advanced EV. We did the drive down the back street and back the sidewalk. We found the Icon hit the cracks in the sidewalk way rougher than the Advanced EV which offered a smoother ride. We went back and forth in both numerous times. I'm a truck guy and inspecting the under carriage saw that the Advanced EV definitely had beefed up suspension compared to the Icon. And it was $1K less. I did over hear another customer say the Icon had more leg room. Didn't matter to us as we're both shorter people. And smoother ride was more important. The whole process went smoothly and it was delivered a couple days later and had been used daily since. (Now 2025). Just recently the lead batteries began going bad which is the expected lifespan of them. So I called them back to see what it would cost to have them switch over to lithium battery. I did my homework first and saw that I could buy the battery pack I needed for $2500 and try to install it myself. So when I called I was prepared to hear an astronomical price to have them pick it up, do the service, and deliver it back. He told me $3K. I was shocked and had to verify that this included everything, delivery and all. He said yes and they can pick it up in the morning and have it back Monday. Just over the weekend. This whole process went so smoothly. I didn't have to mess with anything. Now I have the best battery with 5 year warranty. More power, and longer drive time. We love it. It's like a new cart. Which by the way the Advance EV has had zero issues, and it has been through some rough stuff. I'm not much of a review guy but just felt they deserved it for making my whole golf cart experience wonderful from day one. read more

Total idiot as far as I'm concerned and I will never ever go back there or let any of my friends or anybody that I know go there. We asked for a piece of paper to write her phone number down so they could call us and tell us when they got the part in. And all he was worried about was don't touch my notebook. we purchsed a used reconditioned cart about 2 years ago. Since then we have replaced all 6 batteries for a $1000. A rear passenger tire for $ 80.00 and now a new battery charger for $425. Our front console does not fit ANYTHING to drink in them waya too small opening. Our key slot has to be tightened every other month, and our charge gauge read half way when we are about 5 minutes in our ride. Sure it was a great price for the cart and yes it looked wonderful. But it was just a sprused up cart hiding all the USED and OLD parts that they use. DO yourself favor, go to a reputable dealer and spend a little more with a guarentee. read more

I have been looking for a golf cart since I have been in Florida, and have walk away every time because of the customer service is so bad, until Saturday when my wife and I pulled into "Razor Carts". The light sign in the window stated that it was open but the doors were locked. I called the number and was greeted and he told me that he was 10 minutes away if I could wait. 10 minutes later, I was greeted by Robert McLean and he showed me all my options, no pressure sales here just honest business. Horrible service. Rob McLean has the worst customer service i've ever experienced. They will try to charge you when things break under warranty, not call you back for weeks, and do bad repair work. They hav ethe cheapest carts around BUT YOU PAY FOR IT ON THE BACKEND. read more

I stopped in to just check things out on prices of a new battery, ended up getting a new Ez-Go! The guys were helpful with the price, they let me know that I can get custom anything! Getting custom seats :) and tropical floors! Maybe later I'll do a new paint job! All in all I'm happy I stopped in! They delivered my cart clean and ready! I originally gave this place a very negative review. However, following my complaints, Robert made great effort to make amends. He not only took the cart back and put another new body on, he upgraded the seat replacements as a way of demonstrating his desire to apologize for our initial interactions and show good faith. I sincerely believe that he is overextended and needs to hire additional staff in order to keep up with the demands he is experiencing. Perhaps a sales person who could be assigned the task of working with new customers in order to assist them with design options, etc. would be helpful. Seems like one person is being pulled in too many directions resulting in customers like me feeling rushed and ignored. I am grateful that Robert went the extra mile to satisfy us.
