Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

He does something I don't see anywhere, certainly not with a contractor: he owns the work. He follows up, he makes sure everything is in order, he even comes out to check on things multiple times through the process. This isn't typical service. This is what all other companies should be aspiring towards. He recognizes that, as a homeowner, the most valuable thing we own is our home and he wants us to be satisfied with the work. Believe me, I am. As if that's not enough, there's Clint's man on the ground: Robert. Here again, to say Robert does a good job is unfair - he's exceptional. Courteous, helpful, also willing to own the work, but the most importantly when dealing with contractors: he makes sure the job is done right. At one point, I asked if they were close to finishing. Robert pointed out that he'd finish if I wanted him to, but he'd rather do the job right. Considering how much work I was having done, I realized there was no better answer. In the end, the only thing that slowed them down was the weather. As a homeowner, it's not always easy to know if you're getting a quality company when you have to find someone online. Let me save you effort: you want Clint and Blue Apex. The only trepidation I have about posting this is that they get so many customers that when I need them next, they won't be able to fit me in. So we asked them to come back for routine gutter cleanup and an inspection for leak prevention, as they advertised as one of their expertise. This time, we are greatly disappointed; they did nothing with the gutters, leaving nails popping out, but told me I had a problem with part of the roof, but no definitive scope of work. Then someone claimed to be a representative called to talk about "roof work", including replacing all of my skylights. When asking for an estimate, it was refused and the person just kept reiterating the same phrase, "you have an expensive home". That didn't sit well, so I chose to end the conversation and definitely end the relationship. SAD!

Threw down shingles that slapped against the house (didn't put a tarp down against the house) and left black marks all over the side of house. Had another major issue with an original area that prompted me to call them originally. Didn't address the original problem and shingled right over it leaving the same unsightly appearance. When asked why this wasn't addressed and fixed at the time of laying the shingles son and father team gave poor excuses and kept absolving themselves from any responsibility. Did offer to fix it at a cost over 2,000. to "fix" it. Question was why didn't they address it before replacing the shingles! Avoided direct answer and kept repeating pat answers. Result: It looks as bad as it did before the roofing was done! Totally unacceptable to charge me over 15,000 and leaving me extremely stressed over this! CONSUMER BEWARE of doing business with this company!
