And I had a 20 foot tall Pecan tree that died also. When Sal's crew arrived, they informed me I also had one more dead Pecan tree. The trees were a bit crowded, so when the men finished thinning out, the overall effect was very pleasing to the eye. And the crew ground the stumps down, filled the holes and cleaned everything up. It is hard to tell Sal's crew were ever there bringing down those tall trees and reducing it all to mulch. When the crew found the third dead tree (a Pecan) they quickly estimated a price, but it was over my budget, so I told them "next time". Sal's guy agreed to knock off $200, and get it all done so this job would look great, and the problem was off my list. I was not angling for a discount but it made it worthwhile to squirm for the extra. And I realized they were so right when I saw the finished result looked just beautiful with all the trees attended to. Sal, I am glad your guys can "think of Their Feet". They really stand back and get the big picture when they plan their work. This is my third service from this company. And I could not be happier.

These two crooks juan Tijerina aka Johnny Tijerina his partner Jesse aka Jesus Sanchez aka Jesse aka Jesus Garza, they will go to your house give you a good estimate on concrete work. When you give them a deposit they show up that day or one day then disappear. Juan won't return your calls at all and Jesse aka Jesus will return calls promising to come the next day, here we are almost 5 months later. We gave them a deposit of 2,500, four others homeowners gave deposits, one for 3,000, 6,000 and 8,000 and 12,000. The reason we can do nothing is because they come and break concrete or dump dirt and they say that's how much job cost. They are working on the corner of Mansfield Webb Rd. and Grindstone they use our money for this big job with NO SHAME. Please beware home owner.

In addition, there was about a one foot piece of concrete that had broken off (see pic) where they had "kind of" tried to patch it without my noticing. They were quite expedient at cashing my check after they poured the slab. And my contact at the company repeatedly reminded me of their quality and their 10-year warranty. However, when I asked them repeatedly to repair these two issues over many many weeks - they were not too efficient. They did eventually come out and repair the paint overspray. However, the broken piece was never repaired. Many weeks of promises by them to repair the damage and finish the job - but nothing, I finally had to hire another concrete company to finish the job. These are some texts from my contact at JR & R Concrete: "Been busy gonna send a guy to fix it ill let you know when tommorow" [They sent this to me weeks ago - no follow up.] "Were out of town working that's why it hasn't been repaired we are in Moore Oklahoma working been here for 2 weeks be patient nothing crucial easy fix we will be back this weekend We will fix it when we're back in town" [That was 2 weeks ago - no follow up.] My advice with JR & R, caveat emptor.

Jose and his crew absolutely rocked. They were able to scale the large trees in my backyard, and kept the cut limbs from falling on my roof. They made quick work on my trees that needed to be cut back from the street, and cut the dead trees down without dangering other parts of my home / fence I really appreciate them cleaning up the debris around the house, including the excess leaves in the yard from the trimming. Zachery Clark - Clark's Custom Landscapes stated that he had crew and tools to demo, create…read moreforms/rebar and pour two driveways. The contractor's license he provided was from another state and not under his name (found out after the fact). I paid him 50% of the contract to up-front as agreed with the balance to be paid upon completion. Firstly, he did not have a generator for the jackhammer to break up the driveway and used the house outlets. This kept blowing the breakers. Told him he needed to get a generator. He rented a CAT to break up the driveway. After breaking up the driveways, he started asking for more money. (He stated that he didn't have money to operate due to a previous issue with a customer). Later began saying the concrete was thicker, roots etc. and needed more money to continue working on the job. Even though he was paid 50%, he only broke up the driveways and took a few trips to the dump. No necessary permits were obtained from the City (found out later). Over a month he kept asking for more money and later stating he would not do more work without more money. Then said that he had to work on other jobs to get money and would be delaying our job and return to it. Did not returned to the job site after a few weeks (well past the agreed 30 days to complete the job, which should have been a generous estimate). He rented a mini bobcat from Herc rentals that the police showed up at the house and stated was stolen (did not validate). He only ended up doing 25% of the work. He created a mess, left it there and did not finish the job. End result - I need to find another contractor and got a violation notice from the city. I would zealously not recommend him.

I felt that was excessive for what essentially involved ripping out some weeds, but the owner argued that it's going to be much more involved than it looks. He also indicated that they may have to replace dead flowers/shrubs, so I relented. Big mistake. They essentially ripped out weeds for a couple of hours, sprayed around $35 of weed killer at a flat and easily accessible area no larger than 75 square feet, and sent me an invoice for $350 (which I had to request). I asked the owner if he would reduce the price since the work ended up being a lot less involved than he had described. He declined. Some people have no long-term business sense.

Attempting to perform work on our foundation, work that failed due to saturated ground then left the excavations open which by a soil engineers report compromised the stability of the that portion of the footings. He must have had some financial problems in late 2025 because another customer claimed he stole $13,000 from them also in December of 2005. I have also filed a criminal case against Damon. Damon is one who will lie to you, cheat you out of as much quality and money as he can. In our case, he completed 1 out of 5 items on his proposal on which he used a fictitious business name and signed. He deserves a negative 5 stars for the most dishonest contractor I have ever encountered.
