We were very happy to find this restaurant as there was not many places in Guethary which was serving food past 3pm! The team was very nice and friendly. My dish was succulent, half a breast duck served with corn mash and sweet potatoes fries and an orange sauce with espelette pepper. The only disappointment of the meal was the Basque cider : Errekalde which was recommended by the team, its taste was horrible.

They have a lot of delicious dishes that are all in pots. It could be hot (axoa, pasta, fish, etc.) that you need to put in the microwave or cold (a lot of different great salads and sandwich). If you come in the morning you can even order your own salad or sandwich by choosing between 15 or 20 different ingredients and it will be ready by the time you decide. Very clever! The desserts are to die for, especially pêche melba and their basque cake. People told me that their chocolate basque cake is just perfection, I can't confirm, I don't like chocolate ^^ They also have couple of tables right by the sea and above the building where you can enjoy the sun. I was very happy with the flavors and the wine and champagne were also very reasonably priced. All in all, we loved this place. It might have been a little stiff, but the main hostess was super friendly and made up for all of that. Everything was exceptional. The terrace also has a lovely view of the mountains, and big umbrellas to shield you from the sun. Highly recommend!
