Update as of 3/1/24: One thing to keep in mind which I did not know; if you ever become a client of Zofe and ever need repairs for any reason they have a minimum baseline charge of $1,500. So basically, if your repairs are not even close to that number that is what you're paying at bare minimum. My story is: Recently I had some work done at my residence and I contacted Zofe Fence to come and quote me a repair. They never came out but communicated with me very professionally on the phone and then we moved the conversation to text messaging as most places do. This repair was only needed because due to some construction changes and not on Zofe's quality of work in 10/2021. I shared with them what I needed, pictures and they immediately told me their $1,500 minimum charge on repairs. Obviously, I said no because it did not make any sense. I was disappointed but their policy is their policy so I thought it was important to share with Yelp so you can make informed decisions. I guess I will find someone else to help me repair what I need or spend sometime on YouTube learning how to fix it myself. read more

We are really pleased with Zofe. We like that it's a family business, and Jeniffer was helpful through the whole process. Very knowledgeable. The fence itself came out great. The crew was super hard working, even in the heat of the summer, willing to work with us through challenges. They had the best pricing out of several bids. We love our fence! read more

Still waiting for install. 90 days till we have installation since signing the contract seems like a LONG lead time for a residential project read more

I got a quote from this company a year ago and since then I keep receiving emails from them with promotions. Usually $150 off of a $3000+ purchase. I'm not sure a 5% discount will convince someone to purchase a new fence, but this isn't the only thing wrong with their marketing... Every month I unsubscribe from their list, yet I still receive a new email the following month. I have unsubscribed at least 5 times that I remember. I think that's illegal under CAN-SPAM laws. I've tried unsubscribing and even replying back to their emails, to no avail. I hope this review reaches the owners. read more

Thank you Ari for being pleasant to deal with even though I was a major PITA during entire process! Lol. Fernando was great to deal with as well. The entire team at Zofe was exactly what I was hoping for, a no BS type of company. Have no complaints with my fence. Love the finished product and I'm glad I went with them. Thanks again! read more

I was referred by two seperate people. One neighbor and one friend. They were prompt in coming to give me a quote. The price was fair and the process (permitting) Was pain free for me. The crew showed up as scheduled and did a fantastic job. I only wish I did it ten years earlier. The job was completed and you wouldn't even know they were there. I f you are thinking of getting a new fence, give them a call. 10 out of 10 read more

Loved that they showed up on time and made the whole process simple. It only took a few minutes and I had a written estimate in hand. Their pricing is reasonable. They were professional yet friendly. I definitely want to work with this company. read more

Zofe Fence - Business card - Fences & Gates Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

We needed two new gates for our wooden house fence, Zofe was awesome. They communicated well ahead of the service date. They showed up on time, listened well, they took their time and did a quality job. Best of all, they even cleaned up and took all the old materials away. The gates are great, really well made. Two thumbs up. read more

I would avoid this company at all costs. Very poor communication and the use cheap wood. Half of the planks on my fence is bent after only 7 months. I emailed photos to Zofe and they said no warranty and it my problem. I have to fix my own fence. read more

terrible company. no follow up. had no experience in what we needed done and wasted our time and then made us wait weeks for an estimate that they even admitted this was not the work they typically do. a complete waste of time and terrible way to do business read more

Our fence was installed on Jan 13th and are super happy with the installation and the look of the new fence. The guys were great, they got here when they said and they were done with the install in a couple of hours. read more

Free estimate was scheduled a day after my initial contact, estimated time of completion was 6 weeks, took 8 weeks in fact but that's most oikely because of city being slow on issuing permit, which was expected of the city anyway. The installation of backyard fence, including hauling old fence was done in one day and very happy with result. Price was reasonable too. Everyone involved were super friendly. I'd recommend this business for anyone needing fence projects. Update: gate latch was having slight difficulty to latch, so contacted them to fix it. Now 10 days later no one came to fix. There is no response to my last text reminding of fix request. The latch is now even more off that the gate won't shut at all. I will be happy to update review to better one but till then star will be 1. Update: finally got guys come fix latch. There are a couple more minor concern raised, the guys talked to the office and promised to come fix other issues. Once that's done, stars go back to 5. Update: guys came to fix gate and minor issues and believe they did good.7/8/2022 read more

Zofe Fence just finished gating across the concrete patio for my home. Super important since I have a baby and dog and we live near a major road. This is a small family owned business. The daughter of the owners came out to measure everything and give me a quote. The company was responsive to any questions I had, and the installation looks great. Very happy I went with them. read more

Zofe Fence - New fence with gate! - Fences & Gates Near Me - Pompano Beach, Florida

I chose this company to do two fence projects, one at my residence and another at another property I own. I previously gave them a good review. However, I am here to provide an update. About a year after the fence was installed at my residence, I re did the landscaping in the yard. When two banana trees were taken down, three sections of fence that were behind and hidden by the bananas were leaning significantly, with the posts very loose in the ground. I immediately called Zofe and asked them to come out and look at the problem and fix it. They responded by telling me that if I paid them $800 they would come fix it but they refused to accept any responsibility for the issue. Note that they didn't even take the time to come out and look at the problem before declaring it wasn't anything that they did or didn't do! Hmmmm, not good treatment of a customer who gave them two jobs, and a good review! I then had no choice and hired another fence company to fix the issue. They found that Zofe failed to use cement around the posts of the leaning fence sections. That is 100% mandatory per Pompano Beach building code. Ironic in that a permit was pulled for the job. Once the repair was completed I again called Zofe and told them what I discovered. I showed them pictures of the fence post holes. Their response remained the same, " we didn't cause this issue and we don't trust your claim that the fence posts had no concrete". Needless to say I'll never use them again, and I suggest you never do either. No respect for the customer and shoddy work is what you get with Zofe. read more

Great service at a great price. Owners were reachable and their staff was as well. They make the whole process very comfortable. Quick response time to get out to your property to give you a quote, then the rest of the process moves fast as well and they keep you informed of the project timeline. Definitely recommend and will refer future business to them as well. read more

Zofe Fence has been an extremely positive experience for us.... providing a very cost-competitive price for new fencing and then providing a high-quality result with a professional and courteous crew. It's sad that finding good contractors is so rare in South Florida. Zofe Fence is a great one. High quality work, professional service, on-time, willingness to go above and beyond... and a competitive price? I'm wowed!! I recommend them highly! read more

I made an online appointment for an estimate on a double gate repair. I placed a note in the appointment request specifying what was needed. Ismarys Cortes came out at appointment time. She told me she did not know how to quote this kind of job and took pictures that she said someone else at her company would have to prepare the quote and get back to me. A week later, no estimate and no response to my follow-up email requesting the estimate. read more

All I can say is this is the family-run business you want to support. Fast responsive service with over 25 years of experience thanks to Dad. Our wood fence needed some extra support and replacement of missing boards. I loved how during this Covid-19 event the business has used technology to create a safe and pleasant experience. We received a quote while I was in town. The work was done while we were away. Pictures sent to show the quality of the work. So happy with the results. read more

I requested quotes from 6 different companies, however Zofo Fence was the only one who responded in not only a reasonable time frame, but actually was professional and acted like they cared about the job. Within one day of my inquiry, a rep came to my home, took measurements, and went over different options with me. The job was completed 1 week later. I am so happy with the job they completed as well as the professionalism that was displayed. I 100% would hire them again and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to family and friends. read more

We needed a new aluminum fence with a gate on two sides of our pool and a replacement gate for the entry fence. We researched what it might cost in our area with the length and materials we needed. We had three estimates. Zofe was the only company who was in our price range. The other two were a grand or more. It was very easy to work with Tabatha. Gave a deposit, materials were ordered, installation was a week or so later, and Fabricios and his two workers did a terrific job. I recommend Zofe fence without hesitation. read more

Top-tier. Professional. Great customer. If you're looking to get fence/gate work completed, do yourself a favor and go with Zofe Fence. I know that there are numerous options out there, but I would be hard pressed to believe that there are more reasonable, reliable, and responsive options to choose from. I had the pleasure of dealing with Jennifer along the entire journey. She was extremely attentive to my inquiries and easy to deal with. After they installed my new fence, I found a minor area of concern and contacted Jennifer. She had her workers respond back to my residence and they immediately made things right. I honestly do not believe that it gets any better than dealing with Zofe Fence, Jennifer, and their workmen's crew. Highly recommended! read more

Just wanted to share our GREAT experience with Jennifer and her team from Zofe Fence. I had about 8 different estimates and we were going to move forward with a different company. After several unreturned calls with basic clarifying questions, I decided to move on since we hadn't signed the contract and we were already having communication issues. After our initial estimate from Zofe Fence, I reached out with additional questions and Jennifer ALWAYS answered the phone. She price matched her competitor but, with SPECTACULAR service! No run around, clear, efficient and knowledgeable with the permitting process in Tamarac. Well, they completed our fence yesterday in ONE DAY!!! We are thrilled with the price, process and communication. This is a husband and wife team that keep their prices low since they do not hire sales people. She does all of the sales and permitting and he installs with his team. Super happy!!! read more

I used these guys at my previous home and used them again at my new home. First time was a PVC fence and this most recent time was a wood horizontal fence. Seriously, these guys are good and will give you great value. They will also go above and beyond to make sure you're project is completed to your satisfaction. They take pride in their work and also take pride in their word. Highly recommend! read more

Whole process was fast and incredible! Called for an estimate and Tabitha was there the next day. Communication and customer service was spot on. Warning against wasting your time with this company. After months of going back and forth asking for different quotes, on the day that we were going to sign the contract, they came with a new number that was 30% higher than agreed price which was quoted just 30 days prior. Their reason was an increase in lumber prices (which have actually been coming down). When asked how much they were getting the wood for they refused to answer. Look elsewhere. read more

I'm so frustrated with this company. We signed an agreement on June 1st, 2021 and gave a 50% deposit of $4000.00 with a promise that there was a four week delay due to shortage in materials. It has been 4 months since and I still don't have a fence. This entire time, I have not received a single update from the company on the status of my installation, not even a phone call to apologize for the delay. My husband has had to be the one to call monthly to see where we are with the process. There has been complete lack of communication from their part and frankly I don't understand the good reviews. I understand there is a process and things get delayed, but at the very least, I think we are owed a thorough follow up and proper customer service given the price we are paying. read more

What an amazing company! I called after feeling I was getting ripped off on a quote. They came out right away same day and the price was half what I was quoted by prior company. They were 4 weeks out for installation, and followed up with install date right at 4 weeks. They were on time, professional, quick, clean with work going above and beyond. The workers took it upon themselves to level another part of my fence which I greatly appreciate. Price amazing, work amazing, follow up amazing! read more

Jeniffer and Fernando were beyond professional, beat every price we got, even the city inspector commented how practical and nice the fence is. Check other review pages where i post pictures of Zofe fence work quality. Before you hire Zofe fence you may want to consider the following: 1. Do not pay cash, pay with credit card. 2. Be ready to be the project manager and supervise their installation people and provide installation guidance. 3. Be ready to fix broken water lines, sprinkler systems and other things they will likely break. They cover themselves with fine print and are reckless. 4. Be content with sub-standard quality as they do not put any effort into using the right materials for the right task, they will use spare materials to make ugly non-professional cuts to your installation 5. Be ready to work with a company that cuts corners and assumes that most people are not familiar with proper and professional work 6. Be ready to work with a company that submits your permit wrong multiple times and causes delays 7. Be ready to work with a company that does not train their employees so they do not know basic Florida code Zofe fence can break anything and they will not make themselves responsible. They broke our main water line and sprinkler system. Zofe fence Zofe fence will not project manage your installation, they will drop in your fence how ever they feel like it unless you are there every minute of the installation In hindsight, I should have paid a bit more for a company with more professionalism. I chose Zofe because a family member recommended them, it turns out Zofe is terrible, my family member did not understand what it means to install a fence. Zofe fence attached gate posts with cheap L bracket and no metal insert, of course the gate soon began hanging and dragging on the floor. This is the kind of install work they do when they believe they can get away with it, cutting corners. read more

Update: Was contacted by the company to see how they could make it right. Awesome! I asked them to come back and install the gate properly. Still waiting on that callback weeks later.
