STAY AWAY!!! Sherry never returns her calls. The guy whoever he is will say he will handle the permitting issues and then he defers it to Sherry who never responds. 8 months fence was put up and permit was never closed and forms were expired that were submitted. I met with Justin (son) from this family business to get an estimate for fencing my property. He showed up on time, and within a few days, I had my estimate. As a side note, they were recommended by a friend who is a family friend to them but that had no impact on who was going to get this contract. I signed, and then the father (Jerry) came out to pick up the deposit check and answer any questions or concerns that I had. Within a week, my fence was installed, and the work crew was great. They were quick and clean, and everything went super smoothly. I was not home on install day but when I was able to check out their work, I noticed that there were 2 little fence pieces that were missing but with one call to Jerry, he showed up within a few hours to complete the job and pick up the final payment check. Zepco was a very good fence contractor to work with. I was impressed that the initial estimate was done by Sherry the owner. We had an idea for a wood fence that she said would look great initially but would not stay true over time due to the fancy trim details I had sought and South Florida weather. It was very good advice. Sherry also advised that a PVC fence would be less than wood and that saved us $1000's .We picked a PVC shadowbox type that has details on it I have not seen anywhere else. The installation duo of Chris and Widmer were REALLY GREAT. Jerry answers the phone on the first ring and Sherry responded to my questions quickly. Inspection passed right away. I found one picket that was damaged and it was fixed the day after it passed inspection. read more

Our fence project started July of last year when they came and gave estimate, I put down a deposit and took them a month to get started. I was given all sorts of excuses why they couldn't start, the guy that installed the fence was very professional and did an amazing job BUT dealing with the company was an absolute nightmare! Fast forward a few months and we're selling our home, permits were never closed out, we had to call Sherry daily to stay on top of things and get it completed. We were treated very rudely when we would call to get any sort of update, that's if she would ever answer the phone. Once again given the run around and excusesWe had to go to the city in order for the process to be completed, if it wasn't for our agent this would have prevented us from selling our home! This is no way to run a business, they're happy to take your deposit but good luck getting started and ensure everything is closed on all your permits DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Deposit = May.... after months of hounding them I got the fence installed in August.. I then come to find out they did not pull a permit ... so I get curious and measured where they installed the fence (they must've completely disregarded the survey I gave them because they were a couple of feet on my neighbors property... here we are in December and I've reached out numerous times.. still no permit.. still dont have the fence installed incorrectly.. and still have had zero communication since the October "it's raining and we are backed up" excuse ...called an attorney today to get my deposit back ..pretty clear they want me to forget about it.. now I have to hire a new fencing company to redo the work.. read more

It's no wonder why you see their fences everywhere - from residences to schools and businesses. They were completely transparent, responsive, timely, gave great recommendations and worked within our budget to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Their installers were very nice/polite - you can tell they are experts at what they do. And, they even came back out to fix something that was bothering us about the wood. Would hands down recommend them. We originally never wanted to put up a fence because we thought it would close in our yard. Instead it did the exact opposite. If I could give this company negative stars I would!!! Absolutely the WORST customer service you could find!!! Zero communication, dodged phone calls, hung up on me when questioned about doing their job!! After paying over 14k for a fence they never followed the city procedures for filing and completing permits. It nearly stopped the closing of our home and caused serious issues for our lives. The women "Sherry" is absolutely a horrible person who does not care about you, your family, but only cares about money in her pocket. She lies, tells stories to try to make you feel bad then takes your money and runs! We had to reach out to her business partner to have the work completed, I feel so sorry for him to have someone so incompetent in his business. It is truly unfortunate to have someone who gets paid to cause frustration and stress in a company. Her name should actually be "Karen" because she is the epitome of one. This company just put up a fence in our backyard. It is beautiful and it is built like a tank!! We were told when they would come and were always on time and finished when they said. The workers were very professional and built this fence better than any fence we have ever had! Sherry the owner, was the person that kept in touch with us and set all of this up. When hiring zepco for the fence job they were very responsive and agreeable. Well that was 2 1/2 months ago and nothing. When i called today for An update for starting the job the gentleman was rude and referred me to some number that doesn't pick up. Last time i spoke to same gentleman he advised permit was pulled and the crew just came back from vacation. Mind you when they sold the job they had plenty of crews ready to go. If you are thinking of using these people - beware as they are misleading and apparently will hold on to your money for as long as possible. I had a similar experience as others. Sherry was wonderful on the phone and came out immediately. She gave me a estimate and I was feeling lucky that I contacted her so soon after the hurricane. I gave a deposit immediately. It was 9/13/17! I was told that they were working at 4-6 weeks. I started calling in November with no return call. Then, continued December, January, February. I either got the answering machine or was told next week, again and again and again. Finally, after many, many calls and firm but polite emails our work was completed at the end of February. When asked why it took so long I was told that our job fell through the cracks. Then, when collecting the final check, was told how much money they lost on my job. I cannot recommend them even though the fence and gates are very nice...and God willing, well installed. read more

Jerry and his team of fence professionals are the best in the business. We had hired them in 2012 to do a fence extension on the opposite side of our house and that fence did beautifully during the hurricane in 2017. It was a no-brainer to hire them to now replace the entire fence on the opposite side of the house. Jerry was out at our house within a week of the storm to give us the estimate, and as soon as wood was available (materials were very scarce after the storm), his guys rebuilt our fence in just 2 days. They completely removed the old damaged fence, cleaned the area and built a beautiful fence in its place. His fence team was professional and very courteous. I realize good contractors are difficult to find, but this one is an embarrassment. I placed a call to Zepco & scheduled an appointment. Sherry, the wife & sales person, called me because she was running late. I appreciated the call & was not upset by the tardiness, as I too am in sales & realize my schedule can easily fall behind. Once she arrived, Sherry took the time to truly convince me to choose Zepco based on their tenure in the industry, family owned & operated business, and her knowledge of the fencing business. It all sounds great right?!?! Yep, until she left & dropped off the face of the Earth! She promised a quote via email, which never arrived. I texted her and left her a VM. I finally heard back & was given an excuse about family medical issue. I was extremely empathetic and put it all behind me as she promised once again to send me the quote & pictures of the fence options we spoke about. Once again, no email. After 2werks, I decided to give her once last chance by sending a text asking if she was still interested in my business. Had I held my breathe, I'd be dead. I would NOT recommend Zepco if you are looking for reliability, honesty, or even a simple call back. Needless to say, I've moved on. read more

Zepco Fence was a pleasure to do business with, they were the only company to actually have a live person pick up the phone.. they promptly came out and took measurements and gave us an estimate..they weren't the lowest price or the highest by far... but because of their professionalism and knowledge of the product that we were interested in we decided to go with Zepco Fence..Sherry was a pleasure to work with,she took all our information she prepared all our permits and easement agreements and kept in touch with us through out the whole process...when the day came for our installation the owner Jerry came out with his crews and found our property pins and to our delight discovered that we had gained two feet of property on our right of our house that we never knew we had, the crew was neat and very professional. My biggest complaint about Zepco Fence is their lack of communication between owners. Sherry seems to handle one part of the business and Jerry the other and they don't seem to be communicating between each other. Jerry picked up a check for the remaining balance of the fence payment after it was completed then HELD THE CHECK FOR 13 WEEKS and cashed it the week of Christmas. Very unprofessional. No complaints about the work done just wasn't very happy with how they run the business. I would use a different company. read more

Called the owner (yes the owner) asked him to stop by the next day to get me an estimate, came over and took measurements and told me he will email me the total price of the estimate - three days later still don't have the estimates because he is claiming that I wasn't in a rush to do the job (forget about the fact that next week planing on doing it) come on don't you have other excuses ???
