Well, I don't think I have ever posted a negative review on a business that I ended up not dealing…read morewith due to their rudeness but here I am. I inquired about a Labradoodle puppy 1 month ago. I received an automatic reply indicating I would receive an email in the next 24 hours. No reply came. Emailed again 4 weeks later and did get a reply this time and was told that I could be on the wait list for a litter about December. I went to the website to see what the parents looked like that she had said would be breeding and noticed they were in fact golden doodles. When I emailed back alerting her to the fact that I had requested a Labradoodle the owner became snarky, told me I was 'ignorant' and didn't read the website because if I had I would have known she wasn't planning a labradoodle litter this year. I did read the website but didn't interpret from it that this was the case. There are so many other Aussie Labradoodle breeders in our area I'll be happy to take my business somewhere else.

Due to the growth of Puppy Patch and what Kelowna can offer us, we have made the decision to move and spread our furry doodles. Kelowna allows me to ship my puppies to anywhere we need and I have full testing right there in our own city. If you're interested in adopting one of our sweet fur babies please send me an email asking the questions you'd like answered. I also have a puppy application you can fill out. Please see my upcoming puppies page for information on these litters. All my litters are up to date.

Our Deposit for a dog was taken and they cashed it out the very next day. When it was a time to call about the litter we were informed that our deposit was lost. My boyfriend dream was crushed. We got our money back and also was informed that when we put the deposit that all the puppies were sold already. Why they took our money and cashed it out then. I read the Review from Jen. M and have the same opinion.

When I brought him to the kennels he was an immaculate, healthy and vibrant puppy. When he was returned to me 6 weeks later, he was filthy, sick and his training was not to the level I expected. I believe if Someday Retrievers owner/manager had any respect for this animal, he would have been bathed prior to returning him to me. I did not ask for fancy grooming, I simply believe that hygiene and comfort are important things to offer a pet away from their home. I was not informed that my dog had kennel cough until I went to pick him up on the 6th of November. He was very sick. Additionally, he ran out of food, so I made a special trip to Kamloops to deliver his kibble to him, and when I returned home after picking him up 2 days later, the bag had not even been opened. I would not recommend this facility to anyone boarding their pets, I am sure there are other kennels that look after their 'guests' better.

Not knowing her at all, and only communicating briefly over messenger, it was definitely hard to leave our boy with a complete stranger. For context, we do not have kids, aside from him. Mowgli was reactive, protective, and dominant. We would never take him anywhere that we would encounter other dogs as he was very unpredictable. December 22nd, we dropped him off to her. She recommended a MINIMUM of 2 weeks, but after further discussion we ended up deciding to leave him with her until we were back from vacation, which would be a total of 5 weeks. Our first impression of Shala was a little intimidating, and she was very to the point, but she did warn us of this. (Only reason for mentioning this is I really hope this does not deter others from her, because once we got to know her, she is truly kind heated person!) She was very good about keeping us posted on Facebook with updated pictures, and letting us know how progress was going. She was very responsive, and helped put our minds at ease when we would have our doubts, and asking ourselves if we were doing the right thing. On January 27th, Shala came to our place, to drop off our dog, and to go over what types of changes would need to be made at home in order to maintain these new behaviours. She spent half a day with us showing us what he was doing, why he was doing it, how to correct it, when to give praise and so on. We ran into other dogs on the walk, and she showed us, in person, our once reactive dog interacting with others without any issue. Today I walk though little mountain, hoping to see people and dogs. Mowgli is so much more comfortable in his now skin, and his demeanor is way more relaxed. I will still message Shala for advice and she is quick to respond and help. We will without a doubt be sending our dog back out to Shala when ever we need boarding, day care, or even just for a day to get some socializing. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is stern and direct, but she has a big heart and is EXTREMELY knowledgable. Thank you so much Shala.

I asked what happened and was shrugged off with a message saying that she was looking after 30 dogs and didn't have time to message, after he was found i returned that afternoon to pick him in at which time there was no apology the conversation was 15 minutes of me being told how our lack of training and treating our dog like a child instead of an animal was the issue. I returned the following weeks on a casual basis, I take my dog away with me on work contracts and advised the owner of this through the summer. We returned in July for a drop off, and my dog again "ran away". I asked why this keeps happening, and was advised "lack of consistency". At this point I was very upset. My dog was had multiple walkers and had gone to daycare before without any issue. I would be extremely careful bringing your family members here, unfortunately she's the only one in the area available, which is why i believe she is busy. There was never any accountability for not watching my dog closely enough to not lose him, twice. I recently messaged back again feeling stuck about having no other options and was advised after bringing our dog here for months, that we could be added back to the waiting list if we wanted services. At no point was there a discussion about us being dropped as clients. Absolutely awful customer service and interaction.
