She was training a new employee and might have been overwhelmed with explaining because it wasn't busy. We got an Orange Snoozious cocktail and it was delicious. Very refreshing and light. I have been there three times. Despite the overflowing parking lot which should be an indicator of a great restaurant that has not been my experience. The most recent visit will be my last. The first visit was in the original restaurant and I was a dear friend. She is very professional, polite and even tempered. I felt what she later verbalized. We were being treated poorly because we overstayed our visit. Mind you NO ONE was waiting. Second visit was with my daughter. Service was slow on actually waiting on us. Hmmm We had the Greek souvlaki salad. It was good. Decent experience and I thought well maybe things have changed since first visit. Last and final was with my husband. The host seated us after a very long wait with ample seating. Finally seated but unfortunately we were not being waited on as booth after booth were attended too by different wait staff. These people were seated after us. Finally we received our coffee but the repeat of waiting continued. We paid for the coffee and left. The environment may be indifferent to people who are not "regulars?" ‍ If this is true, which I hope it isn't, management should take a look into it. read more

Pretty good food but a bit overpriced. I got the brioche french toast which was definitely good but not amazing. I do love their avgolemeno soup though! The turkey club was good and came with real roasted turkey. The sweet potato fries definitely could have been a lot crispier though. Takeout is consistently quick and easy, including ordering over the phone and the food being ready on time and accurate to the order. Also note that there isn't actually any outdoor seating. There's a very small patio more designed for waiting for a table to become available and a "sunroom" style room but it's fully indoors. I always have heard that Zoe is the best Greek spot around Buffalo. Our usual Greek spot is Alton's. We finally tried Zoe and it did not disappoint! Our server, Jeremiah, took great care of us. We had spanakopita as an appetizer which was delicious. Our meals were the steak sandwich and the chicken souvlaki dinner. The portion sizes were huge! We both went home with leftovers that are big enough for an entire meal. Everything tasted amazing. Really enjoy their breakfast! I've been here a few times to have breakfast and usually get the French Toast or Waffle, but this time I tried one of their several tasty omelettes. The Sarasota was delicious and one of the most flavorful omelettes I've ever had. It was packed and mixed with spinach, feta, and broccoli. A few pieces of turkey throughout too, but I wouldn't have liked a bit more to make it more hearty. The sun-dried tomato pesto on top was the best part and boosted the flavor of all the ingredients. The omelette was big too, so very filling and worth the $17 price. It also comes with 2 pieces of toast of your choosing and home fries. The home fries were deliciously crispy and seasoned nicely. The toast was fine, could have used more butter or some jelly (which we used what we found on the table). My absolute FAVORITE place for breakfast. The eggs Benedict is absolutely amazing if that is something you enjoy. Whenever we go it is always busy but the food comes out so quickly and it's always excellent. The reaturaunt is large enough and has a ton of seating so you are not waiting a long time to eat especially on Sunday mornings for brunch. The only issue I have is when my friend and I went she was told she couldn't have her daughters bottle and that her daughter could not drink out of it which made me confused. They made her empty the cup and put it in one of their cups which again it was a child. That I believe is the only thing I would fix there. read more

Stopped in today for a late breakfast with an elderly lady that I help. Our waitress was beautiful inside and out, the two ladies at the hostess desk were lovely as well and then the young man busing the tables who I watched take great care resetting tables, he also asked us how our meal was? the whole experience was absolutely positive. Overpriced Greek breakfast place. Once we ate in and I got a typical breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, home fries, etc. and my partner got some basic pancakes and it cost us over $40. There is nothing about the flavor or presentation or substance of these meals that make it stand out from your run-of-the-mill breakfast place. One time we also ordered chicken and waffles to go for brunch. The chicken was bone in and dry as leather to the point that I couldn't pull the skin the crust or the meat off of the bone. We were in the area and looking for a place to stop for breakfast. Initially, this restaurant looked like a casual place from the outside. When we walked in, it was a lot more fancy than expected. Beautiful decor and a bar. I felt a bit underdressed for the atmosphere, being that we were in there for breakfast. The host was friendly, our waitress Ashley was very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. The gentleman who was cleaning off tables always made sure to keep my coffee topped off. He was also very pleasant. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with rye toast and homefries. My husband ordered the chicken souvlaki breakfast. We both felt that the food was bland. My toast seemed kind of stale. However, the portions were huge. I was impressed enough with the customer service that I'd come back again and try their dinner. Hair in my husbands food tried to imply it was mine! Livid. The food was a quesadilla not exactly an expensive item. Used to love this place but this is disgusting. Before you eat your food lift it up. The hair was under a triangle of quesadilla sadly my husband had eaten two of the four triangles before he found this. The hostess comes to our table and says we'll take it off this time but no one in the kitchen has hair like this stated that there was no grease on the hair and then she stated my dad made the food. I don't care who made the food there was hair on that plate before the food was brought out. My integrity is worth more than the price of a quesadilla. I graduated this Saturday, and to celebrate, I went out for dinner with my husband, daughter, and sister. We had such a wonderful time together, enjoying some delicious food! I indulged in lamb chops, paired with the tastiest potatoes, zucchini, and squash. We also had a fresh salad and some warm pita, which was all so scrumptious that I couldn't finish it--so filling! The staff was incredibly friendly, and it was heartwarming to have so many fellow customers congratulate me on my graduation. The service was top-notch, and I can't wait to return! This isn't my first time visiting this lovely restaurant, but next time, I'll definitely be trying their lemon orzo soup--it's absolutely amazing! Their food is consistently fantastic. This place is rather expensive for a typical Greek restaurant. Though it does have a nicer interior than say Alton's or Apollo. The chicken souvlaki is rather deceiving. They place the chicken and toppings underneath the lettuce, then place a hefty amount of low-sodium feta ontop so it doesn't look overly appetizing, but tastes delicious! I'm assuming they place the chicken on bottom so you don't see the little amount they give you. Probably equivalent to 2 tenders where other replaces usually give you 4. But the flavors were all there. They do give you one singular olive and no pepperoncini, which made me pretty sad. The worst part? The $3.50 charge for a small side of tzatziki. Seriously? This is the only place I have ever been to that charges for the dressings that typically come with the souvlaki salad. And it has a weird ricotta consistentcy. Wasn't my favorite. I also got a chicken souvlaki salad to go ... Which cost the same amount but you get about half of the portion, and no dressing at all. I was really mad about this when I got home. Desserts were ok. Got the homemade rice pudding which was delicious! The donuts were laughable... They are traditionally served dipped in honey, but these were placed in a pool of simple syrup, yes... Water consistency. Very strange. They also don't put ice in your water, which i can't stand. After writing out all of the frustrations of our dinner tonight, I had to go with 3 stars overall. They had a nice area to wait with comfortable seating. Our food portions were GINORMOUS! I ordered the hungry man. It took 4 pics for me to show you all that came with it! It was good. My wife got their Zoé Scramble and a half order of French Toast. The Scramble consists of scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, mineo & sapio Italian sausage, home fries and your choice of either Feta or Kefalograviera (described as tasting like a sharp Romano) cheese. Another huge portion that also came with your choice of toast. She has ordered this before and it's her favorite and it was just as good this time around. We had 3 boxes of leftovers between the home fries, bacon, pancakes, French Toast, and over half of the Zoé Scramble! This was my first time here but my wife a has been here several times before.
