Guac had only white onions so every bit had sharp and tasted of only onions. Ordered a fried chicken taco and received a kids chicken tender in the taco... truely shocked. The nachos had huge Jalapeno chunks that were edible. The place looked nice and the service was good but I can't imagine coming back here for any food. read more

The food is the only good thing I had to say about this restaurant. The service was decent, however there was no check in during our meal so we had no water. Even when we tried to call someone over, they seemed to have bat an eye. I also got their guava mimosa (do not recommend). Surprisingly great. Elote is incredible, Molé chicken enchiladas were sweet and flavorful, and chips were perfect. Tortilla soup was hot and tasty. Salsa was on the bland side, but this place was next to Springhill Suites hotel and very convenient. We saved the salsa in fridge and ate it the next day. It tasted better after marinating. So it recovered very well. Margarita was well made and not too sweet or sour. Perfectly balanced. read more

This place never disappoints when it comes to tacos. The carnitas are outstanding and highly recommended. The queso is great and a fantastic start to the meal. The vibes are great here. The service is awesome as the wait staff is both polite and genuinely friendly. The ambiance is pretty great, too. The food? Sadly that part is underwhelming. Prefect for after hicking the Garden of the Gods . Perfect spot for photo opts! Atmosphere was so nice and welcoming! They have a bar section where you can eat and swing. My husband I stayed and talked for a while and we were not rushed out. Chips and salsa on the house is always a plus! Staff were sweet and food was quick. I love their tacos. They are reasonably priced. And they are absolutely delicious. And on Taco Tuesday they are even more affordable. I love the sweet potato crisps with the taco with zucchini it is the Esquites. The one with portobello mushrooms is also excellent. And the fish taco one is good. I honestly don't think I have had one that I don't like. Their atmosphere is fun. I especially like their wooden swings in the front window. I also like their lobster quesadilla. Tuesdays and Thursdays are half price margaritas. The spicy Classic win Tajín was great. We tried the chips, salsa and guacamole for appetizers and the salsa was just right spicy. Came here with a group of six and overall... it was underwhelming. Our server was decent at first, but once he realized the tip was automatically included, we barely saw him again; meanwhile, the smaller tables got the real attention. My plate honestly felt a little sad because the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Also, for a brunch spot, not offering coffee is just wild to me. The atmosphere and aesthetic were actually really nice, the space is bright and well put together, and the swings are a fun touch that definitely add to the vibe. But that only goes so far. A $16+ breakfast burrito feels like a stretch. I know prices are up, but breakfast should be more accessible, not a luxury. Drinks were okay. I also tried the lobster quesadilla, and while it sounded fancy, it barely had any lobster despite the price. All in all, great setting, but the food and service didn't live up to it. Super fun, but probably not a good idea if you've had a few drinks. Service was great. The young lady was very sweet and attentive to our table. The ONLY reason I'm not giving this place 5 starts is due to their small portions. The price does not match the portion sizes. Also, chips and salsa cost 6 bucks(includes 1 refill). Most places don't charge for chips and salsa. Drinks were made perfectly but 4 sips and I was done with my mango margarita. Super bummed it wasn't better. Probably the best fish tacos I have had. They don't give you a frozen fish stick portion like a lot of restaurants do. I would really recommend trying the Maui fish tacos. The pineapple and chipotle seem like a strange combo but I was glad my fantastic server Matt recommended them to me. read more

We shared an order of chips and salsa (which even though you have to pay for refills, one batch will fill you up, and 4 tacos to share for two people. Delicious brunch!!! I had amazing breakfast tacos with steak, they were so flavorful and filling. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, lots of fun decor and swings! We had a great waitress as well, she was very attentive. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because it took a long time to get our meals because my friend ordered egg whites instead of eggs. After they came out tho, the workers were SO nice and extremely apologetic. This place is super cute. I love the inside decor. It is rather loud in here so definitely speak up lol. Bella is our waitress and she was awesome! She gave great recommendations. No Taco Tuesday Specials. They have swings that look outside to the street. Cool feature Classico margarita- wry tasted and not overly sweet. Frozen sangria- very good! The frozen this keeps it cold in a positive way and it has a delightful fruity taste. However, after about a couple of these, they be dangerous lol Chips and salsa- when I first took a bite of the salsa, I wasn't too sure that I took us like a bite and it's phenomenal. Chips are perfectly cooked. Guacamole is very fresh. Perfect consistency and tastes great. Quesabirria- is amazing!!! Pork- very tender and very juicy but I liked the other tacos better. It was bad but it wasn't incredible enough I'd order it again. Sweet potato- I ordered this without looking at what it was and I'm very glad I did because I've never ordered us had I known it was sweet potatoes and it was the perfect vegetarian taco. Carne Asada- I was disappointed with this taco. It was very dry and didn't have much flavor. Pamela Mushroom- excellent! Tastes are very complimentary. Chocolate Ganache Sopapilla- we tried this and the chocolate tasted burnt. We let our waitress know and she said we are the only ones who've said this. I asked if it was microwaved she said there was a good possibility it was. She took a back and we got new ones. They were sooooo much better. So the conclusion I came to is the first ones that came out were microwave and that caused the burnt taste. The second ones must've been put in the oven because that pressed was flaky. It was a little bit cold in the middle that still tasted way better than the microwaved ones. After the second round of these I highly recommend them they're very tasteful. The service here is great! Everyone is very friendly and checked on us throughout the meal. I highly recommend eating here! read more

One of our favorite places. We don't get out as much as we used to but we love to get to this hidden spot when we can for great margaritas, mezcal, chips, salsa and yummy tacos. My faves are the mushroom/panela taco, super tender lengua taco and now the camote/pepitas taco! My husband really enjoys the chile relleno plate. Zocalo was recommended by one of my foodie friends, so I "had" to take him there for his birthday. What a rad spot! When you walk in you won't feel like you're in The Springs anymore. The ambiance is awesome. It is thoughtfully decorated and made me feel like I was in Baja California. The menu is à la cart style. So you won't find a combo meal like chain places. But this is perfect because you'll be able to sample a lot of things. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. The beer queso was ridiculous and I just couldn't stop eating it. The chile relleno was HUGE, maybe not as crispy as I prefer but delicious none the less. I had a chicken enchilada with mole. Good God that was great. I don't typically order mole but I will at Zocalo any time I'm back. I found the pricing to be fair but a little strange. Like, the tacos were a dollar or two higher than I'd expect to pay but then the enchiladas and chile relleno was a couple bucks cheaper than I'd expect. I've told several people about Zocalo and can't wait to take my wife on a date there. It wasn't quite 5-stars though. - Service was pretty slow for a weekday lunch service. - When I asked the server what his favorite things were he rattled off two items, but then admitted to only having had worked there for two days and that's all he'd tried. - My El Macho taco was missing the cheese and cilantro. - The draft beer list is tiny but not great, which is a shame in a beer state like Colorado! - Give some credit to the Colorado breweries - put their names on the menu. - Voodoo Ranger IPA was misspelled "Voodo". read more

This place is so cool! If you get lucky enough some of the seating are swings at the table windows. We got a booth just inside but I did at least get to sit in one after the meal. The place is modern and very open to natural light. Cool neons and lots of green. There's even an old repurposed bus in the back. The food is so good. I got one of each of the vegetarian tacos since they are so small but pack a powerful taste. Unfortunately this place loses a star in service for me. We waited nearly an hour to be served. I'm not sure if it was a shift change or what but we were seated right away and then no one came to help us. I had to walk up to the bar after 30-45min to ask for a waiter and then we still had to wait. I didn't expect to spend two hours at a taco place that's as half full in afternoon. read more
