The first two cleanings were handled by two cleaners who were there for approximately 1.5 hours. The last two visits had only one cleaner for about 1.5 hours. The price remained the same for all four visits. That inconsistency is ultimately why I discontinued service. If you're paying for a defined scope of work, then it should take as long as it takes to complete that scope. If you're paying for time, then the billing should reflect the amount of time provided. In this case, neither model applied. The price stayed fixed, but the labor hours were effectively cut in half during the last two visits. The results reflected that -- the house was noticeably less clean compared to the earlier appointments. To be clear, the cleaners themselves were always punctual, kind, and professional. I have no complaints about the individuals who came to my home. My concern is strictly about the value proposition and how the service is structured. A relative of mine works for a different Merry Maids franchise in Washington and mentioned that standard practice for a house my size where she works is two cleaners for 1.5 hours, or one cleaner for roughly 3 hours. That makes total sense to me. When I raised the question, I was told, "the time thing we don't look at too much," which didn't inspire confidence. Would I use Merry Maids again? Possibly for a one-time move-in or move-out clean. But for recurring service at this price point, the inconsistency made it difficult to justify continuing.

Communication was excellent and the pricing while on the higher end was clear and transparent. I was extremely happy with how sparkly the bathrooms were and how well the shower door tracks were cleaned. I also appreciate the close attention to smudges on the walls and staining on an old sink in the laundry room. The overall work was good but if I had to nitpick they could've done a more thorough job on the harder to see areas such as the kitchen baseboards and the window tracks (closed position) and the dusting of the blinds. Upon giving feedback, the impressively hands-on owner, offered to send a cleaning professional over to rectify the overlooked areas and offered his sincere apologies. Sadly, in the rush of moving out didn't get photos of what they did well. Would still hire them again but would just pay closer attention to the completed job. I will admit it's reassuring to know they are quick to remedy the situation.

One note if you use any softwashing service - the results are amazing, but the cleaner solution does impact some sensitive plants. Half of the vegetation around my home is completely fine, but some herbs and other container plants were impacted. They'll grow back just fine, but did need a good trimming after being exposed. With this, I would not stop it from using Einstein Softwash again... I would just cover or move those plants :)

Window Cleaning was great... I can actually see out of my windows now and they did a thorough job in both interior and exterior without any upsells. They also cleaned the other mirrors in my house as a courtesy. Moss removal... just wow, see pics attached. Gutter cleaning... this is where they went way above and beyond. Long story short, I had a leak in the elbow of one of my downspouts shortly after they finished their cleaning. Naturally, I was confused why this was the case right after the gutters were cleaned by Hendrix. It turns out that the gutters (which are brand new) were installed improperly without proper egress for some of the downspouts. They came back out and helped me diagnose these issues for all of my downspout and helped me think about how to communicate to my gutter company, even though it turned out that none of this was their fault. I will default to Hendrix Window Cleaning in the future for the services that they provide. Beyond competency and professionalism (which is hard enough to find), trust and thoughtfulness are characteristics that they exemplify
