On June 7th, I brought a friend who was visiting from Washington to get IV therapy with me. We were offered a private room, and the staff was attentive at the start of our visit. However, after our second IV bags were connected, neither of us was checked on again. Both my friend and I fell asleep during treatment. I eventually woke up because I needed to use the restroom and pressed the call button multiple times before someone responded. When the nurse came in, she noticed my IV bag was empty and so was my friends . Once the lights were turned on, I could see a significant amount of blood had backflowed into the tubing approximately 12 inches from my arm. When the IV was disconnected, blood also got onto the pillow beneath my arm. I was told this was "normal" and the situation was laughed off, which left me feeling uneasy. After speaking with a nurse friend, I learned that while the blood backflow itself is generally not harmful, it can happen when an IV bag is allowed to run dry and isn't disconnected promptly. What concerns me most is not the blood in the tubing, but that neither of us was checked on after the second bag was hung. Had I not repeatedly pressed the call button, I'm not sure how much longer we would have been left unattended. I've always had wonderful experiences here, which is why this stood out so much. My hope is that this feedback helps improve monitoring, especially for guests placed in private rooms. A simple check-in and a more professional response would have gone a long way.

During the process, I was explained each step before anything was performed. There was such care taken by the team and I felt so comfortable the whole time. I was able to choose a movie to watch on Netflix, in which I chose "Big George Foreman". The entire process was about 45 minutes. I was seen quite immediately after filling out paperwork as a new client. I'll go with minor constructive feedback first, and that is front staff/reception that day did not feel as warm and friendly, though the person appeared professional enough. Perhaps it was just the timing of things and not intentional at all, and it is not a big deal enough for me to not come back. Shortly after, I was taken back by a staff member to check vitals before the PA, I forgot her name, but it starts with an S, she is Indian I believe, and incredibly kind, experienced, and professional (this is what happens when I wait too long to write a review and can't remember the kind lady's name). I came in for an infection from a cut that happened to my finger quite randomly. It was swollen and painful, despite me trying to treat it at home for 3 days. I knew it was time to come in to see the professional. The kind PA asked questions, examined my wound, and helped me drain the infection. It required a small incision to drain the gross stuff out and extract the specimen for lab. Though the process was incredibly painful, like someone slamming the door at full speed 75xs over your finger, the PA was very thorough, kind, and understanding. She prescribed antibiotics, cleaned my wound after the procedure, and bandaged it well. I definitely will make this my go-to urgent care now for as long as there are good people I encountered here.

I told her I made an appointment at 2:30, arrived early, it was closed. I stopped doing other things to be there, and she just said, do you want an appointment for Thursday?" Of course not. You can't even speak with a representative on the phone. That system is terrible and very inconvenient.
