Fitting ourselves into this new space has been daunting, but Lisa has made is happen quicker, easier, and better than doing it solo. Working with Lisa is wonderful. She's very easy to be with and listens to what's important to you. But also she keeps things on track working towards a goal, and asks great questions and makes great suggestions. I was stalled out on going through garage and holiday boxes but was able to do it with Lisa's help today. And I'm not exaggerating about getting ten times the results. There's no way I could stay on task for 3 or 4 hours working alone. But the time flies by when we're working together. And guess what? Lisa takes all your donations when she leaves!!! Though I knew we needed to organize our home, just looking at everything became increasingly overwhelming. I reached out to Bee Organized and Lisa got back to me fairly quickly. Getting on her schedule was a pretty straight forward process after speaking over the phone about what we needed. We booked an 8 hour day with Lisa and she did an incredible job helping us pack up items that weren't ours, declutter items that we didn't need, and sort through paperwork that wasn't touched in many years. What Lisa did in 8 hours would have taken us SO many years. Just with Lisa going through all the items in our home office, we were able to make the space feel more like our own + gained some empty cabinets + had items reorganized in ways I had not imagined. She even helped drop off bags of donations! Some things are worth paying for if it impacts your mental health and this is definitely one of those things. We're looking forward to having Lisa back to help with our garage that is in dire need of assistance!

Treena brought in her crew and really hit it out of the park. The house was sad, dirty and dingy before; and sparkling clean afterwards. It's not cheap to clean a home for moving in/out - but well worth it!! Treena is a warm, responsive communicator and organizer and we are grateful for her and her excellent team. We used this agency for much of 2022 to care for our ailing parents in the Sacramento area, and I have very mixed feelings about them. On the one hand, we had a number of different caregivers from Golden Years and one of them stood far above the rest, so we requested her exclusively and were never disappointed by her excellent care. However, dealing with their business office left a very bitter taste in my mouth.. I could have overlooked the multiple billing errors (including duplicate invoices) if their office had been responsive in correcting them, but emails to their office simply went unanswered, and I had to resort to sending letters via registered mail. (Thus, "unpaid" but erroneous bills piled up and GY started charging us usuriously high interest rates on the "unpaid" amounts.. I'm talking 122%) I also was not pleased when a key contractual obligation was not only ignored (as were multiple requests that they honor their contract) but once they finally replied, they blamed *us* for the problem that they caused. Caregiver scheduling was also a big issue. We were supposed to do all scheduling through the GY office, but they were not at all reliable and we wound up having to schedule directly with our caregiver. (This was against their rules, but the caregiver acknowledged the challenges dealing with the GY office, and told us that she had the same problems with them.) If our excellent caregiver had not left GY's employ, we probably would have continued to suffer their billing errors and obnoxious unresponsiveness, but while we were sad to see the caregiver go, we were not at all unhappy to be done with Golden Years. (They did eventually condescend to reply to us and offered a small token reduction in our charges as an apology for their failures). If we were in a position where we needed in-home care services again, I would absolutely not choose Golden Years.

Within a few hours they tamed the chaos of wall-to-wall stacks of memorabilia, tools, holiday decor, etc. They brought donations to their proper destination, sorted everything sensibly, and whittled it down to just about 20 boxes and lots of empty shelves, and a clean floor! Crazy amazing. I worked from home all day with minimal interruption and they just got it done! I feel like these angels removed a mountain that was weighing me down. Can't wait to have them back to tackle the rest of the house! Couldn't recommend a team more highly. So grateful!

During my search, I have realized that most of the agencies have dealt with difficult situations from their own pasts, which seems to create a certain familiarity.. I know it will be challenging trying to find the right agency, and finding the right caregiver that will want to help us out on the weekends.. Erika was very helpful, but also very upfront that because of the shortage of workers, it may take some time to find someone. I am glad I called.
