I had to speak to the manager and she went ahead a took it in.frustrates me that they tried to get me to pay the extra money. I should have looked here at the reviews for this place first . I have a fleet truck on the low cost monthly wash, and occasionally bring in my personal vehicles and it's been pretty good experiance for me. If you have stuck on mud on your vehicle you will have to be diverted to the mud pit first, even if its a smaller amount of mud. Depending if you have a monthly package or not, they can charge an extra fee. They do have a sign out for this. The employees do spray a de-bugger and will ask to fold your mirrors before doing so. You can opt-out of hand brushing also, just inform the cashier. The wash itself and its different tiers are great for general cleaning, however if your vehicle has areas tucked away, hard water stains, or not easily accessible to the brushes, it will likely be noticeable when you leave. It is an automated car wash, don't expect a premium hand wash quality job unless you pay for the premium detail. The brushes can definitely snag on larger antennas/ cell boosters, large spoilers, or any body modifications you may have. The guide rails are not very friendly to lowered cars so make sure you measure clearance before you enter. The hand drying is good and you can have 1 to 3 employees hand drying your vehicle, but they can only dry thoroughly if the line stops or slows down. They can definitely miss a couple of spots if rushed. Currently they are only drying right after the air dryer in the bay. Once your out of the bay they are done. At the time of this review, they are no longer doing tire and rim services on the wash line. They hand you a small microfiber cloth and will tell you that you can detail your rims by the vacuums. However their detail service is still fully open and at the time of this review, are looking for experienced Detailers. If your only using the vacuums, there is a service charge. They are only free to wash paying customers. read more

I have a 2009 Ford Mustang and Sunday went thru car wash for the first time thought I would try it out, needless to say the Wash broke off my mirror and they proceeded to tell me " Your car over 7 years old we will not fix it ", I guess they have signs first entering the building but having to pay attention to men directing you to pull forward to make sure car lines up with conveyor belt I missed it, but the customer service i received with this was so rude and disrespectful. Gets part of your car clean, but don't count on it getting your entire car/truck clean. Free vacs are nice. A few complaints... First, it takes a while to get through the line. Even if there's only a few cars, it's slow. Second, the wash (I bought the $18 wash) just does not get all of the vehicle clean. Bed cover hardly looked touched, and my wheels were still dirty. It's an extra $5 to make sure your wheels get clean. Kinda crazy, as they already hand dry the car. And, if you pay for the wash with the tire protectant, understand that it sprays it all over your wheels, and wheel wells, and will instantly begin collecting dirt. Pretty pricey compared to similar washes in other cities. However, it's the newest car wash in Carlsbad. Talked to the owner, and he pretty much said that to get it cleaned the way I would like it, I need to tell the employees what I want when I go in. Really? Why not just get cars clean the first time and not worry about it? I even pointed out all of the dirt still on the tailgate, rear bumper, factory steps, wheels, fender flares, etc. They basically said "we don't do that, we only get what the machine can get." I pulled in to get my truck washed on a Saturday at 1330 and they had their lanes blocked off like they were closing up so I pulled over to the vacuums to do a quick job and a lady came over to explain since I didn't have a slip for a wash they were charging me $5 to use the vacuums. I've been the dozens of times. It's total BS, if they could've washed my trucked I had them do it but they couldn't at the moment. $5 for 2mins of vacuum is total BS. I'll never go back there. That 5 dollars costed them easily $800 a year from me alone and I'll spread the word. read more

Excellent exterior wash for the price. I have a VW CC sport that was dusty and buggy. I purchased the tornado wash that was $16 bc I have a gravel drive with a carport as parking area, this was the perfect wash. Other reviewers mention that the wash is mediocre, I am sure that is true on a full size pickup truck or SUV but for a medium sized car it gets the job done. My only complaint is that they do not offer a full service interior and exterior detail in their packages. I have subscribed to other car wash places that offer this service. I haven't tried the vacuum yet as it was hot and there is not a covered area to work. Maybe this will change as we are in the desert. read more

I took my Ford F-150 in for a Express Tornado Wash. Upon my arrival, no other vehicles in line, had to wait 10 minutes before anyone came to my vehicle. Afterwards went through the Tornado Wash and the windshield was NOT CLEAN and the hood of the pickup. I asked the attendant to clean the windshield. His attitude was arrogant and did not want to finish the cleaning of the windshield or parts of the hood, front grill chrome. My family and I spend a lot money at this business, but it seems they have an employee problem. The owner needs to pay a little more money for its employees and raise the price points. I'm complaining because we want this business to succeed but at this rate, IT WILL NOT. read more

Purchased the expensive wash, could hardly tell it was cleaned. The company doesn't use soap that removes bugs or road grime. Bugs still on the truck, no wipe down, no hand drying. read more

My first experience was when I bought by black car in. I could of done a better job myself at the quarter car wash. I brought my truck in today and spoke with the manager and told her of my prior experience. She nonchalantly and rudely just said why didn't you bring it back right away. I replied because I live 50 miles out. My truck was washed in the same undetailed, streaky manner. I guess even the manager doesn't care about customer service or satification. read more

I will never use this car wash again. I would not recommend this car wash for anyone. They charge a premium price for a so-so wash job, but worse, have so many "I'm not responsible for damage" signs that you probably should take caution and run. I brought my 2017 Lincoln Navigator in for a premium wash. What I ended up with was a not so great wash, and a damaged running board. The attendants instructed me to open the retractable running boards if I wanted them washed off, but did not instruct me to retract them prior to entering the wash lane. As a result, the left running board sustained damage, that because of their signs, are claiming no responsibility for. I talked to the manager on duty, who was very helpful, and passed the information to upper management. Kevyn Cline, District Manager, returned my call, took my statement and passed that information to the owner. The owner, Naddem Aassis declined responsibility based on the fact that the boards were electronically opened by me, even though the attendant brought the vehicle into the wash lane, and started the wash track system, knowing the boards were still out. I am disappointed that no consideration, compensation, or even a future free wash was offered for damages that I consider their lack of communication to be the procuring cause of.
