Took my work truck in to get tires balanced. They brought the truck into the bay and let it sit for about 30 minutes and then pulled it back out and parked it. I paid and went to look at it and they didn't even pull the wheels off. Went and asked the manager what they found and he said they always pull the wheels off and rebalance them no matter what. Told them it wasn't done and walked him out to the truck to show him the dirty wheel weights and dirty lug nuts. He immediately got it right back in and apologized. Tire tech had the audacity to give me dirty looks. Never go back, overpriced half-ass place. read more

They were so helpful and friendly. They gave me a fair quote for fixing all four of my tires sensors. They even gave a discount from the previous quote. They had a really nice waiting room with lots of magazines and clean bathrooms. Plus coffee and cold water. Would definitely go back for my tire needs! read more

Thank you so much to everyone at Forrest Tire. I was solo traveling and got a flat tire. Their credit cards machines machine was down, but they called corporate to run my card and get me back on the road. Great business that went out of their way to help me. read more

Horrible customer service, i went in for a tire replacement. when i was talking and asking about a tire, its like words were going her head. on top of that she had a ugly attitude. not caring on what my issue was. if you want a good and easy experience go to Big Ol Tires instead they'll take care of you, how they did to me. read more

Forrest Tire - Roadside assistance! - Tires Near Me - Carlsbad, New Mexico

Forrest Tire is awesome. We had a flat tire on our rental car (Traveler's tip: You don't want to get a flat tire in rural Texas between Pecos, TX and Artesia NM) from Enterprise. They weren't going to have a replacement for hours for Enterprise sent us to Forrest Tire. Forrest replaced the tire and checked the air in all four tires for us in an hour. Aside from the roads in TX being abysmal (potholes and under construction- yeah, worse than NJ and bordering 3rd world in some parts), our tires were over inflated. This likely contributed to the flat. Ugh, thanks Enterprise. (Another tip: check the tire pressure on your rental car if driving in rural areas). Forrest got the expense approved directly from Enterprise and we were on our way. No charge. There was someone on the lot who was even from NJ. If you are in Carlsbad and you need a tire, go to Forrest Tire. read more

Got a nail in my tire the first night I moved to Carlsbad. Forrest Tire was able to get me in for a repair the next day and get it fixed within an hour at a VERY low cost. Will definitely be returning here in the future and would recommend them. The staff were all very friendly as well. read more

Good serivce, a fare price. Only issue i have is they over inflated my tire. Should be more carefull. But I think its a good bussiness that provides a good service to the community. read more

bad experience eve time i go there. Its always a sh**t show. they "fix" the wrong tires, they tell you you need stuff that you dont. they have a "i dont care" attitude. read more

Very busy, that means slow service. Nice folks but grossly underestimated repair time. Needed a flat fixed. They said 1-1/2hours. Took 3hr 15mins to repair. If it's busy? Just know it may take longer than estimated. read more

Forrest Tire was our vacation hero! After dealing with a repeatedly deflating tire for a few days and getting no help from our rental car company, we stopped here and they had us in and out in about 45 minutes. We had no further issues with the tire and felt completely confident driving 150+ miles the next day. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stop here again, and would recommend Forrest Tire to others. read more

These guys are expensive and they are extremely SLOW. If you are on a schedule do not go here! I have spent two hours waiting on two tires to be put on and nobody has touched it in over 30 minutes. I was going to give two stars but 1 is more than they deserve. Worst service I've ever seen, obviously they don't have a discount tire in this town! read more

I wish they had options to get a warranty on tire even if had to pay higher price for higher quality tires only because out here it seems like my car gets a lot of flat tires from all sorts of construction debris that accumulates out in the fields but I've had to go like three times just the past year and the tires they offered me weren't extremely expensive but would rather pay a sum up front more up front for a one time tire warranty replacement (under so many miles or thread wear and tear). But regardless of their business market model and charge I believe they are always as quick as can possibly be given how many customers they are serving at any given time. It's always packed in there which just speaks out to the demand of service. Defiantly Not the worst service but could always be a little better but they are just doing the best with what they have! read more

This company has fantastic customer service. They are prompt with their tire repair and are always able to find my tires for my truck. Certainly a benefit over the discount places or Wally World. read more

Went to get to see if they had a wheel prior if they could order one. The young man that helped me had a I dont care attitude. I waited over a hour finally asked him any news on a new wheel and he was socializing with a co worker then tried to sell me a used wheel that wouldn't even match or fit my work truck. Worst tire shop I have ever seen. read more

I called on a Friday morning for an appointment for an alignment that afternoon. When I arrived I was directed to bring my truck to the alignment bay where I met the technician who would do the work. The work was done in the time estimated, about an hour and the service technician and the counter staff were friendly and efficient. The waiting room is nice as well. I was originally trying to make an appointment with GMC locally, but they told me they sub all their alignment work to Forrest Tire. Excellent recommendation as the truck now steers straight. With this being my first experience with Forrest Tire, I would highly recommend them for alignment service. read more

Slow and inexperienced shop hands. It's Carlsbad NM don't set your expectations too high...

Stopped because my tire sensor had been on for about 2 days- I had checked the passenger tires- because they looked low. Added some just to bring it to 35psi. But couldn't find anything wrong- looked several times at it and nothing. Stopped and they checked all the tires, removing the front passenger and found nothing. The psi was low on the rear driver side, so they took that off and checked it all over as well. Nothing. No charge, they did all that and no charge. I realize they didn't end up doing any repair, but that still took time and man hours- over an hour because it was busy as well. Thankful they were so good about it all, and quick considering read more

Have been going here for years. For both work and business. They are always busy. But that always seem to get the job done. I would agree that they can be slow at times. But if you look around and see the volume of work, they do a decent job. Everyone that's in hurry, needs to take a moment. And they will get it done. McDonalds and Wendy's are across the street. read more

Traveling across the country from Virginia and discovered a drywall screw in our tire as we were leaving Carlsbad for Terlingua. Came in on a Saturday morning with no appointment, car already packed... Super friendly Forrest Tire folks invited us in (three kids in tow) to the cleanest showroom/waiting room/restrooms I've ever seen in a 'car place' and had us back on the road within an hour! Thank you! read more

We were on vacation in Carlsbad NM and of course got a flat. We walked in without an appointment and were in and out in under an hour. We needed a new tire because the leak was on the side wall and they had a used one for us. Great service and friendly staff. They made our big vacation problem into a little hiccup. Thanks guys!! read more

I feel your pain if you have to deal with this place. There's a problem when you're basically the only show in such a small town. They're busy, I get that but at least be honest with time estimates. I was told it'd be an hour to get tire fixed. They lied. Now I've got 3 patients waiting on me to get back to the clinic! The other thing is they are only open 8-5 so for the working stiff, you're screwed. No dropping a car off & coming back after work. God how I'm missing Discount Tire right now!!!! read more

My girlfriend and I had a popped tire and the guy was more then helpful. They did not have our tire in stock but found us a used one in the back n charge us next to nothing. Made it back to Florida with it n still running they were quick and courteous with the service as well. read more

We stopped at Forrest Tire during our cross-country road trip when we had tread issues on our tires. Ruben was the friendliest auto mechanic we've ever met! He took a look at our car, told us what was wrong, and helped us find the best solution to get us back on the road quickly without spending too much money. I wish all mechanics were as helpful and friendly as he is! read more
