After I walked out of the door, a gentleman caught me, telling me he had my hangers, which he did. I went inside to pay for them. When I inquired as to why I was given some random hanger I got no reply, as the kid was two steps behind, leaning against the wall with his face in his cell phone. Called el-paso store, they said the carlsbad store had 2 of the parts i needed. Drove 45 miles to carlsbad to get the part..........only to be told they didnt have the part. All this could have been avoided if the 1st time i called, they would have checked to see if they had the part i needed.... not to mention the 45 min wait to get to the counter.

You know what other great movie quote fits in all of my past and recent scenarios at this auto parts store with the great radio jingle? This one... "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ~ Ferris Maybe O'Reilly's doesn't need to notice how many customers walk out when they don't stop and look around. I couldn't find what I needed at first so the owner took me to a storage container out back and let me rummage through parts and take them out to my Jeep to make sure they fit until I found what I needed. I went back several times and he helped me find exactly what I needed each time. He even threw in a few free nuts and bolts after I spent so much time gathering parts. I've been in a LOT of hardware stores around the country and I have to say this was the best hardware store experience I've ever had. He even told me I could call him on Sunday if I need a part,!and he would come open up the store for me. Bravo CK! I will return for sure when I'm in the area.
