Quite honestly, I bring all of my coats and jackets here, because the price is right. but when it comes to more delicate tops and shirts and things that need to be carefully pressed, I have been very disappointed. This silk shirt is one example of many. This is a worktop I have been unable to wear to work because I have not had the opportunity to steam it myself. I picked up a comforter today and attempted to drop another off. My puppy had gotten sick on this comforter and I did clean it up as best I could. The spot was maybe the size of a baseball. They refused to clean it so i took it to Earl's Cleaners in Richboro who I almost always use. Melissa and her husband are wonderful and they are cleaning it for me- I hope everyone tries Earl's they are the best! read more

First the quickest return around and I've gone to quite a few other spots for my dry cleaning and now it's almost a week to get things back. The in by 9 am back by 5 pm is true at no extra charge. My clothes looked fantastic for a great price. They are open till 7pm most night so I dropped a tux off and received a message before noon that my order was ready. read more

Zips, has been my go to place for a few years now. I strongly recommend them for fast and friendly service.

First time and last time. Professionalism was non existent. Called in advance day before (Fri) to obtain information on turnaround for service since I was out of town/state and was told items can be down in a week. Brought in multiple items totaling over $80 (8 items) and relayed the message upon arrival to store (Sat). Also, stated if not feasible I will not require service at that location. The young lady was unprofessional joking with the manager when requiring his guidance. The mgr assured me he can complete. I arrived to my destination and the receipt only had 5 of the 8 items dated for a week so i called the store again. The mgr reassured me again that it would be completed. I received the text message that items were completed and ready for pickup three days later (Mon). Following Sat went to retrieve and pickup and the young man only provided 7 of the 8 items and told me the last item wont be completed until next week. I told him that i was reassured it would be completed and if not i will require the item back and a refund. He never relayed to the mgr what happened and the same mgr inquired with me what occurred. He stated we swaped. The mgr said it would take awhile to find it so i told him im leaving tonight so I'll wait. It took over 10 mins for them to look in back, return back inquirying about the color of the item, then ended up located it in the exact same vicinity as the other two items. The clothing items appeared to be cleaned well from scanning over the outside of plastic however due to the staff unprofessionalism, i will not be a repeat customer. read more

This is literally the worst service ever. I woke up early to drop off before 9 and pick up by 5 for vacation. This dress has been cleaned here several times. They did not clean it or call me. Just rejected it. Said they can't clean it. Now I have no dress for my event. Zero stars. No solution for me or reason they couldn't clean it. read more

Never been to zips or a dry cleaner at all. Took my suit in and they were very fast and efficient. Clothes are available same-day if in by 9 or next day by 5pm. I wasnt aware that there was a $10 minimum for credit cards but they helped me out and let me use my card anyway. They did a great job and I highly recommend! I was really hoping to be a big fan of Zips. But how do I put this? I like to dance. Like dance Dance. Like way past the point of ladylike glistening dance. The BF on the other hand does not. But when we go to weddings he obliges me by getting drunk enough to let loose and keep up. So needless to say after weddings my dresses need some serious dry cleaning. So with their awesome pricing and wonderfully practical hours (as in open before and after work), I thought I'd give them a try. I give Zips no stars. It's the worst. Almost every time I've brought something there to clean then went to pick it up I had to leave it there to have them clean it again. It was never clean the first time. The second time they get it clean. I will never go back there again and I will not recommend this place to anyone to get their clothes clean. Slow. It takes forever and when my clothes weren't ready they had excuses. Not worth the frustration. In reply to the explanation- two of my pants were ready. 5 were not. They said it was because they were damp- but the ones that were dry were part of the ones not ready. I'm always waiting around for service. Lots of excuses. Saw the negativity and do not understand why - I use the Westminster store regularly though there is another cleaner two blocks from my office. The shirt price is about the same but the garments are 1/3 to 1/2 the price. My local cleaner said they were not interested in just doing my shirts! Quality is close or the same in most instances, and I can afford to go every week or two as opposed to every month, so I look better. Yes, they had some time issues, but all in all, not the end of the world. With the volume they have and their time frame, it is logical that when a building issue things will back up. However, they were upfront about it and thing in all this time I wasted maybe one trip - at most $2 of gas which I save on just one pair of pants. Conventional cleaners​ are not perfect either but their efforts are strong and should not be dismissed out of hand like some of these naysayers. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom, Maureen. One day before my brother's wedding, a huge storm came through Bucks County leaving many homes and businesses without power. Zips was one of them and we were desperate to get her mother-of-the-bride dress in time for the wedding. We reached out to the store via Facebook and Yelp! and luckily the manager (I believe his name is John) responded to us. The store wouldn't be open until the next day and the dress would be available for pick up at noon. Unfortunately that was cutting it too close between driving the the venue and when we were needed for pictures. John understood and he graciously arranged to have one of his employees locate the dress in the store and transport it to my mom! It was such an unbelievable act of kindness in a tough predicament and certainly above and beyond the call of duty. John and his employees certainly embody and embrace superior customer service practices and I highly recommend them for your wardrobe needs. I really tried to give you guys a shot. Really liked the idea of having my shirts same day but every time I bring my stuff there I get it home and it is a wrinkled mess. Spoke to manager and employees brought it back and received the same mess. Was told by manager because I am a bigger guy the machine they use is to small for my shirts so that's what keeps making them wrinkled. Picked up shirts again today and got same result but now have to pay 2.29 a shirt to have them laundered and pressed. Will not be bringing my stuff there anymore sorry guys you need to get your act together read more

So took the shams and comforter to a cleaner that has been in business for years. They said there's no way it was the fault of the manufacturer. They are going to fade my shams do that I can use them with the quilt since Zips damaged my quilt by washing it incorrectly. People...honestly...the savings is not worth it, not if you really like something!! And when Zips damages the piece, be prepared to listen to their lies. read more

I am a true believer that we must support the businesses in our community. But the problem I am having is when I put my trust in the business and I receive a poor job. I dropped off my husband's suit on Monday 5/12/2014 and picked it up on Tuesday May 13. My husband was going to wear it on Sunday May 18 only to show me that it looked it was never ironed and had long light brown hair all over the coat and pant legs. It was as if the suit was dragged along a dirty floor. I brought it back on Monday 5/19 for your business to redo. When I went to pick it up that evening, it did look like it was ironed but long light brown hairs were still all over the coat and pant legs. The gentleman who was checking me out told me no it is not hair but fibers from the material. On a dark blue suit fibers would not be single strands of long light brown hair on the suit. He did roll it and off I went not even in a new plastic Zips Dry Cleaners bag. I was so disappointed when I left knowing that I will have to take the suit to another cleaners because I am not confident it was even dry cleaned or how often your equipment is cleaned. I am glad for your business that you are doing well and your store is full of clothes, coats, and comforters. But it seems when a business that was new in our area worked on quality and now wants to work on volume then quality of service is a major area that suffers. Every time I go they have friendly staff and pay special attention to the items being brought in. One of my shirts was missing a button and they replaced free of charge! In the past at other dry cleaners return my shirts with cracked buttons. You can't beat the pricing and turn around time! read more

Where do I start? In 2017, I spent just over $600 at Zips, which promises same-day service (in by 9, out by 5). Keep in mind, I drop off clothes every 1-3 weeks. In the time since October 2017, the equipment has been down on four different occasions, when I attempted to drop off or pick up. But, I gave them a shot again, and again, and again. What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. I guess I'm insane, and I've finally had it with Zips. When I went there today, there was a sign on the entry that said as of 6/6, everything is back on schedule. When I approached the counter, they said there's a 24-delay on cleaning. I asked if they could slide two pairs of my pants through, as I am a regular customer, but they weren't sure if they could guarantee anything. WE ARE ALL AWARE that they had an issues with PECO upgrading their electrical service recently, which left the premises HOT (PECO allegedly killed their ventilation system), and actually had me googling about OSHA's temperatures in the workplace (that's how hot it was for the Zips staff). Of course, there were the infamous white types signs hanging around the store saying that the employees were being given water and adequate breaks, etc. Bottom line... The owner is never on the premises during peak times, and uses a myriad of excuses for why they can't live up to the in by 9, out by 5 promises that made him money in the first place. read more

The best place around for the lowest prices, quick turnaround & great customer service!! These not-so-perfect reviews must be from people who are confusing ZIPS with a competitor. Everything is PRE-PAID, and if there is ever a problem or question with the cleaning or rare damage to a garment, you are contacted before you get the garment back. Ive been a customer from the beginning & I wouldn't trust my garments to anyone else! And don't be afraid of the low prices. This company is top notch!! My finance and I take all of our dry clean required clothes in addition to all of his work shirts and suits. Over for past 12 months we have noticed a steady decline in the quality of mostly his work shirts. i have a sweater dry cleaned recently that was returned to me covered in red fuzz. All of his work shirts have been wrinkled about the shoulders requiring me to re-iron them. The order he picked up today had his tags stapled to the bottom of the shirt. Zips is a good 25 minute dry from our house even though it's fairly close to his job. We will not longer be using Zips no matter how good the price. read more

I dropped off $100 worth of dry cleaning recently. Do not waste your money. After my experience at Zip's, I am happy to pay triple the price somewhere else. My $300 Ralph Lauren comforter is ruined. I had a bad feeling when they made me sign a form that said they aren't responsible for damages to the comforter. I even asked the person that worked there and he said, "Oh yea it should be fine!" I have had this comforter dry cleaned twice in the past elsewhere and this didn't happen. All of the filling is bunched up and clumped in parts of the comforter. Also, my Banana Republic sweater has 2 tiny holes in it! This was a brand new sweater I wore twice and I am certain it did not have 2 holes in the front of it. This was not a cheap sweater. And lastly, my white linen pants- completely wrinkled. I don't even think they were cleaned. As for the other items, they aren't ruined but they were pressed sloppily. I did call about my clothing and was told to come into the store and speak to the manager. There is no way this sweater can be fixed. Honestly, how did the staff hang up my pants looking like that? I don't even think they were cleaned. I am not going to even bother calling about the comforter. I will take my losses. But please don't have them ruin your stuff! I hope others see this review and take their clothing elsewhere. I am really upset that my things are ruined! I work hard to have nice things as I'm sure you do too! read more

Love Zips! Our dry cleaning clothes always come out perfect, and for this price, I don't iron anymore. We bring all my husband's shirts here too. Love that they have a tailor onsite now; they did a great job with hubs' pants. And stuff is ready the next day, and the people who work there are always courteous and nice. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The clothes that I had cleaned here (2 sport coats, wife's dress and a suede Eagles coat) came back as expected....clean. Well, not so much for the Eagles coat (I'll explain below). First, they said they couldn't clean my jeff cap. Said there was no care label. I told them that I've had it dried cleaned every year for several years now and never had a problem. I was a little annoyed, so when I went back to pick up my clothes, I asked them what they expected to see on the care label. I was told "type of material and how to clean." On the label in the hat, it clearly states "100% New Wool" and under that states "Dry Clean Only". I was confused. The young guy at the counter said he would show it to the production manager. She apologized and said they would clean it, but I would need to sign an "ok to clean" slip. The hat still had the smell of a hat that's been worn all winter, so I'll probably take it to another place next year. As for the Eagles coat, it came back without being clean. They told me that because it was suede, they'd have to get their leather specialist involved. So, instead of giving me the option to do so, they just gave the coat back to me. Yeah, that'll go to the other dry cleaners as well. The sport coats seemed cleaned, as did my honey's dress, so I guess we'll just take the easy stuff there from now on. But, for $1.99, I can't complain that they can only do the easy items. I'll definitely go back and recommend them, but I'll also warn that you'll get what you pay for. read more

I'm kind of messy sometimes, so I bring lots of my clothes in to Zips with various food stains, and they always come back stain-free and fresh. I also bring our sweaters to Zips at the end of the winter and, with the low pricing, we've saved a ton of money on that. read more

Zips is such an ironic name it's not even funny. There's one guy there that if he was going any slower he would be going backwards. I have waited for over 20 minutes more than once in this location. This is dry-cleaning not rocket science. Once bitten twice shy, and shame on me for giving them a second chance after the first time that I had to wait 25 minutes. They also had something in the safe and said they couldn't find it, and told me that I probably picked it up. Whatever it is they can have it! I never want to go back there again! read more
