I had a issue with a pair up pants that I had taken in for cleaning, I picked them up put them in the closet until I was ready to wear them, when i took them out they were stained on the bottom, unfortunately when I took them them back I didn't have the tag, the guy was very rude because I pointed out that they was a stain and automatically it was nothing that they had done, they did clean them again at no charge but to no avail, they are ruined. I also had a white shirt that had a pink stipe showing from the pocket, he again was grumpy about me pointing this out, they cleaned it again and it was fine. I had a "F-A-F-O" moment..... I read the reviews very carefullly and I still drove 45 miles from my home to this cleaners - only to find that they don't value customers, your garments, or quality service. Backstory - I found this cleaners (Zips) due to low prices and they have several franchises all over (so convenient, right?). I have been to 3 locations. Disappointed by all of them!!! Zips is definitely in the dictionary for "you get what you pay for". They lost my garment, then tried to blame me (several different reasons/excuses). AND they changed their story too many times for it to be true. I know a liar and a liar's telltale signs when I come in contact.....IF you want quality handling of your precious garments - don't try to save a buck, as you will "FAFO" with ZIPS!!! spend a little extra for peace of mind. read more

Update 6/17/25. I just got called from ZIPS...stated they can't process my clothing without a credit card on file. Here's the story my previous card ( which was on file got compromised ) of course I got another--just never went back to update them. After further analyzing this in my head--my previous card got compromised, you want me to actually put another card in your ZIPS SYSTEM--just so you can process my clothing. Why can't they be paid for when I pick them up??? Is it because I'm Black?? I am suppose to trust your zips system, your employees ( Not saying they would ) with access to my card, The way things are in this world right now. Furthermore, one of 'your employees' even stated--they wouldn't have there card on file here as well. BUT they also mentioned to me --it could be paid for when you come in to retrieve your clothes--that's why I wasn't concerned was permitted to keep the zip bag--my zip tag serial number was attached to the bag...so my clothes could be identified! I put over 100 pieces of clothing in Zips Cleaners. My clothing was not tagged appropiately to demonstrate my ownership which led to many of my items not being returned when I went to pick up my clothing. I was a teacher and had expensive, brand name attire. Most of the articles were skirt sets and skirt suits. I did not receive about one-fourth of my clothing back. I may have received a jacket or top but not the skirts or vice a versa, I did not receive the blazer or jacket. I refuse to use ZIP CLEANERS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS THE WORSE VIOLATION AND THEFT OF PERSONAL BELONGINGS I HAD EVER EXPERIENCED IN LIFE. Zips Cleaners always had different personnel whenever I took clothing to be cleaned. Whenever I go to drop off/pick up clothes, there is always another customer there having an issue with their order -- either it is lost or not ready on time. Tonight was my turn, they lost half my order. 5/10 pieces of my dry cleaning are just gone. The cashier said it could be attributed to their "new management" - I doubt having new managers causes everyone to forget how to do their jobs correctly. She seemed completely disinterested in the fact that my clothes are missing and just said they are trying to figure it out. No apologies. I asked to speak to a manager, and I was told I just have to call back another time. Completely unacceptable! Do not go here, you have a strong chance of losing your clothing for good. read more

i can there Aug 2nd on Saturday at 9:32 AM and when I came there the lady that works there was on a personal phone call and the phone was on speaker and the conversation was about a dude not really acknowledge that a was me present but instead she was still on the phone with well someone that was on speaker and I feel that was very unprofessional and I believe that they need to be retrained on how to have professionalism when a customer comes to the store read more

There are a few positives about this place, so I'll start with them. It's a nice convenient stop to drop off my shirts, only being in there for 3 minutes at the most. It has modern feel to it and it looks clean. I appreciate the text and email notifications over phone calls like other places. Also, I've never really had any problems with my clothes after I've picked them up. However, despite its nice look and convenience, Zips has by far the worst service I have ever received at any business. The staff is incredibly rude and always have an attitude, and I really do my best to not snap back at them. It really sucks because I think this place has a lot of potential, but the staff and their attitude is so rude it ruins the whole thing for me. One time I hung my shirts on the bar, fully intending to take them off the hangers to give to the lady at the desk, and she gives me a snarky attitude saying "Take those off the hangers or we ain't taking them". That's only one example of the many bad experiences with the staff I've had in the past 6 months. If Zips finds a way to fix their customer service and hire a friendly staff, I think it would really help the business last. read more

I've given this place several chances. Either they cannot accept clothes for dry cleaning because of mechanical issues or they cannot have clothes done the same day even dropped off before 9am. I got used to the excuses because of the price and location. After the customer service today at 8:50am I will not be back. read more
