Halfway into the wash, the truck in front of me stopped moving. I had to press on my brake to avoid hitting them. They ended up driving out of the tunnel and eventually my car also stopped moving. Zips has been on a local buying spree for several years, purchasing existing car washes and rebranding them with the Zips logo. So, what you had before is what you get now with a new sign. The common element of all Zips I've visited--and I have a multi/wash membership that's allowed me to test a number of their locations--is poor drying. The air blowers simply leave too much water on the vehicle. The wash was adequate. Zips advertises free vacuums and this one actually offers them. At most Zips you must purchase a wash to access the vacs. Here, they're available to any user. read more

My tire was punctured upon entering the car wash on May 1st, 2023. It also took a chunk out of my rim and knocked the wheel out of alignment. I filled out an incident report being promised a manager would call me and still nothing. I called in to the main phone line and spoke with someone who said they would escalate and still no contact. I lost about 2 hours out of my day for AAA to repair and another couple hours at the dealership for the tire to get replaced. Zips is a ripoff. Paid for a $18 car wash, machine didn't print a recipe. I get in and fine out the water jet system wasn't working on the right side of the wash. Left the wash to vacuum out my truck. Saw the rights side has soap and dirt on it. Even had streaks where the brushes had missed. Walked into their office and asked to go through again, was told they couldn't because I didn't have a recipe... I explained the machine didn't provide one even when I requested it... debates for a minute and got a code to go through again. Same outcome. Left with half a truck clean but they wouldn't provide a refund... they knew the machine was not providing recipes, they knew the wash was broken and just taking peoples money. This company is terrible and is stealing money when they know their machines are broken and then use the lack of a receipts when they know they don't provide them. Zips don't respond with a copy and paste response about feedback... give me my money back. Your lack of actual action and standard response proves you don't actually read or take actions... Future customers beware the Bridgeton locations as they know machines are broken and still take your money. read more

This is the worst car wash I have ever been to. It is the closest one to my house and have gone many times hoping they would redeem themselves but always leave disappointed. Half the time there is no one working the office so you get stuck in the line trying to go through the payment line then once you are through the gate I have to waited up to five minutes for someone to guide me in. Once in the car wash the water does not rinse off all the soap so you have streaks down the side of your car. The last time I was there, which was a couple weeks ago the dryers weren't working at all. 0 out of 5 stars. read more

Went through to get a bunch of bird poop off. Went through the first time (for $12 dollars...) and the car wash barely even touched my vehicle. Just sprayed water on and took like 30 seconds to go through. I pulled back around because the bird poop hadn't been touched. She said the tracks were off and she's put us through again (with the best wash option!..) and again barely touched the car except this time it sprayed soap at the last minute and no other sprayers left so I left the car wash with soap suds all over my car and hand washed it when I got home. Membership cancelled! @ The Page Ave. location The tunnel needs some major repairs. The attendant at the begining of the tunnel didn't use the prewash spray gun. The octopus wool cloth thingy hanging down got caught on my roof trim. I opened my sunroof blind so the kids can see what happens above and notice the waterfall feature is broken, they have a garden hose zipped tied to the pipe. The vacuums never work, its almost like the vacuums are always full and need to be emptied. read more

Terrible vaccums, everytime i go there, there is no suction and i have to move to different parking spots just to find one vaccume and use that one for both sides of my car. The dryers on the car wash are horrible considering every time i come out of the wash i still have soap on my car. they are free vaccumes for a reason.. read more

Horribly run car wash. Windshield scanners rarely work for club members. Rinse never removes soap from rear of vehicle. Vacuum hoses always clogged and suck at sucking. Worse one I've been to in their whole system. read more

BEWARE!!!! I visited the carwash at Meramec Bottom Rd. on April 30th 2023 upon leaving I went to towel dry my car and there were four dent down the side of my car. I immediately told the employee and he took photos and made a report that he said he would give to the manager Felicia Green and that I should here something in about seven days. I hear nothing and after contacting the company numerous times i was told to go back to the site. so I drive there and talked to another employee who couldn't believe this wasnt already taken care of so he calls the Manager and she say, "and he has her on speakerphone" that it would be taken care of and for him to take more pictures and that I should get a bid. So I get a bId and return it and was told by the employee that I would hear something in about five days. Again I hear nothing. Mind you we are now towards the end of May! I again go back to the site and was told by an employee the the manager Felicia Green would be in at two. So I return to talk with her personally and she says that this is the first she has heard about it which was a down right lie because she was on the phone when I was there before. Than she says it's to hot in the office to do the report right than and that she would do it later and I'd hear something in a few days. Again I hear crickets. And now after all my time and wasted gas going back and forth because they will never return a call. And after a few of the employees agree that it should be taken care of they make up lame excuses as to not have to repair the damages their facility caused. Besides the working employees the manager Felicia Green shows that she don't care about the customers and upper management has proved that all they want is your money and if they damage your property they wont be liable. Note that I have been a member for three + years and this is the way they treat their valued customer. The employees even stated that there has been a lot of other damaged vehicles from this carwash. So please beware if you don't want a damaged vehicle from going through their carwash cause you'll be on your own and left paying for the damages caused by their facility! JUST PLEASE BEWARE!!!! Billing me for 3 memberships, I only have two vehicles. Filled out their "trouble ticket" process. No one there is willing to talk to me, or try to help. Refusing to even tell me which vehicle is being bill which amount. (three different amounts) Horrible customer service. Refusing to talk to me to fix fraudulent billing. My credit card company was able to get 4 months of fraudulent billing back, but this has been going on over a year. They are refusing any and all information on my membership to me. Information I needed for the Credit card company. They have a "customer portal" that has all of my personal information, but nothing about my memberships. Horrible to deal with, dishonest, and the quality of the wash has totally deteriorated. I have an Expedition and a Rogue. Both come out with many dirty areas and hardly any cleaning on the rear of both vehicles. The price has gone up numerous times without warning or notification. Through credit card company got some money back and third membership cancelled, but today, again, third fraudulent billing this month.. the last 2 times that I have taken my car through the wash it didn't even clean the back. they let me go back through and it still didn't even clean it. Then when I went back (thinking they had fixed the problem) it still didnt clean it. A joke. I will pass all Zips for the next car wash down any street. I received a mediocre wash, meaning there were still traces of dirt all around my car. The vacuum area was like a frenzied maze with cars jumping from stall to stall to find any operable vacuums. The one I did find had very low pressure at best. The mat cleaner was also broken. Part of paying for a wash is being able to utilize the vacuums offered. The employees working there shrugged their shoulders agreeing it was a mess. Maybe corporate needs to concentrate on the upkeep of their current locations, satisfying the customers whom keep them in business, instead of buying up every wash on the corner. read more

I hate that Zips is buying up all the car washes in my area. This place used to be a great deal. Since it switched from Blue Iguana to Zips, the price has increased twice- first from $3 to $5 for a basic wash, now from $5 to $10! It now costs more than 3 times what it did a few years ago. And for lower quality! The vacuums are always clogged and for some reason it seems that the water doesn't reach my back bumper. It's always still dirty. I used to refer people here all the time. Ever since Zips replaced Blue Iguana it's been terrible. The cheapest car wash you can get is $10 and it's not worth it! When I got out of the car wash and went to the vacuums I realized the back of my car had not been touched by the wash. It was still totally dirty and dusty. I couldn't find anyone to show so I just gave up. I'm addition, half of their vacuums don't work. I had to go to 3 places to get a vacuum that worked on both sides. And they've gotten rid of several of the car mat cleaners. I'll never go back. read more

So I went inside and told them, and I was told that they "may" be having issues with it but they hey couldn't refund me because I already got my car washed. They offered to let me go through again. Zips bought out the former West Port Car Wash earlier this past late summer/early fall. At first and a couple times after Zips opened under their name, they said they would honor West Port Car Wash vouchers/stickers. Well, today I go there and present Zips with my voucher and they said they won't honor them any longer. I complained and the site manager honored it this one time. I said I still have 3 sticker vouchers on my card and my wife has a whole card of 6 left. He said that is the directions he was given to advise customers. Zips bought West Port Car Wash, they said they would honor the vouchers so they should stick to that promise and they are not! We paid $30 per 6 visits and we have a total of 9 left, either they honor those 9 remaining or reimburse us $45 for the unused voucher stickers. It's the right thing to do. Zips...please advise. I've wanted to write a review for a long time and have decided to after another horrible experience at a different zips location. I've visited different locations in hopes of getting a better experience. All are very terrible which leads me to believe the owner is just as crappy as the car washes. I visited the 9430 Page Saint Louis Mo.63132 location. I purchased a membership 1 weeks ago and attempt to get a wash when the bar code didn't read. The attendant came out and asked for my credit card as his way of wanting to verify my membership. I told him I've already paid and don't need to give him my credit card but he could have the receipt for verification. He seemed disappointed that I wouldn't give my credit card. After 5 minutes, the gate lifted. Just before I entered the wash bay, I asked for my receipt and was told it was thrown away. After a lengthy exchange with a different attendant, I was given my receipt. As I proceeded through the wash bay, my vehicle was not washed properly as the water pressure was not there, the under carriage wasn't cleaned, the rim/ tires wasn't cleaned, and the cleaning brushes weren't in a strong enough force to get the dirt off. Also, there are multiple broken vacuum hoses and closed vacuum spots. All locations are managed and ran terrible.
