Dr. Merlin was awesome! My second time was for my knee, torn meniscus. I had it repaired and had no problem so far (2 days will be a month since the surgery) with the surgery. It's healed great, minimal pain and bruising. Still going to PT and will be out of work for another month but no complaints about any of it!! Dr. Schyeler was amazing! He wasn't even sure he'd be able to repair it because it was so bad, but he did!!!! Thank you Coastal Orthopedic for all you guys do!!

Dr. Lomonaco is truly fantastic - he got me back running pain-free after an injury had sidelined me for a couple months. My wife has been seeing Dr. Lomonaco for a long time and is the reason I decided to give him a try. She has never had anything but positive things to say about her experience with him. I also received a call the very next day from the medical assistant to check in on how I was doing post-procedure. I thought this was a thoughtful touch that really stood out. I don't recall receiving this level of personalized, attentive customer service at other practices l've visited in the past. It's the little things like this follow-up call that add up and are always greatly appreciated. I don't see the purpose of having to sign and initial the same paperwork for EVERY single visit. The last 3 visits I had within 7 days of each other. For all 3 of those visits, I was asked to initial and sign the same paperwork. This practice burns a ton of paper, which is wasteful and certainly not green. You are here due to pain whether it is in the arm, shoulder, leg, or any part - there is pain involved. The last thing anyone should expect when arriving is to wait for a long time to check in. Fortunately this facility will close and move to the new spine center under development. I am looking forward to that location instead. In the meantime, this location should focus on becoming more efficient with reception. My doctor is very good and the technical staff who support him. I certainly recommend him for pain management.

I have been suffering from a chronic pinched nerve and lower back pain for years now and meeting with knowledgeable staff who helped me identify problem areas really helped me stop putting off the necessary care I needed. DJ from Soul Physical Therapy was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me their information. Fast forward to today - I've gone a couple times and am seeing improvement. They've walked me through exercises to help strengthen and alleviate pain in these problem areas and have been great throughout the process! Also - side note: The receptionist was so friendly and kind on the phone and after having met her, you instantly want to be her friend. She's great! Went to Orthowell for PT after a right foot injury. The types of therapy Chris used really helped…read moreto loosen the muscles in my calf that were affecting my foot and the tendons. The laser helped with tendonitis and the touch of plantar fasciitis that affected me. I still use the simple devices that the practice keeps on hand to sell to patients: a roller for muscles, Thera-bands, and a wedge to stretch achilles. I was taught that stretching is the most important thing to do on a regular, if not daily, basis to avoid injuries. Last, but definitely not the least, Chris made me orthotics that actually work for me. My long relationship with orthotics has been rocky, at best. I have been wearing the one's Chris made since June of 2016 and they are the most successful I have had in a long time. High scores for Chris and Matt who assisted me with much of my therapy.
