Took my car here for some very specific issues that needed checked. They found some other issues that they said needed fixed and the price would be over $5000. When I was told this I said "wow" as I was in disbelief in the phone. The guy on the phone got extremely rude and said "hey these parts are expensive." I paid $180 just to be told this. Took it to another shop and had everything fixed for $980, plus zima didn't even scan the car to see what codes had been thrown. I'd go to a dealership before I ever went back here, it would be alot cheaper. If you go here, I guarantee they will want thousands for repairs that you can get done for hundreds elsewhere. read more

I had a radiator repaired for $4,000. During the repair, the shop broke some bar under the front end of the car and the mechanic failed to inform me of additional damage to the front end of my vehicle until after I had already left. I was told that the issue would be fixed once the necessary part arrived, but I have not heard from the mechanic since then. To add insult to injury, my car was parked in a weeded area of the building and was scratched and dented as a result of the negligence. read more

The report showed what needs to be fixed now and areas that are not needed but should be checked on occasionally. They don't use "hand me down items" at exuberant prices! They use top grade replacement parts at very reasonable prices (unlike their competitors). They have gone out of their way to check on any warranties and made appropriate phone calls. These guys provided the best auto service experience I've ever been through. Their business model is very modern and customer focused, so much so I didn't even believe the things I was hearing from Max when I called in for a quote. Then I really didn't believe it when, after being told there was no availability that day and I was fine with that, I was offered service that same day just because as we were wrapping up the quote call I mentioned a worry about my serpentine belt failing on the drive to or from work the following day. So not only do these guys have an an amazing business model with stellar customer service they legitimately care about customers. I think it's easy for business to kind of "fake" customer service without truly caring, but this was definitely not that. The modern business model continued after I took my car in to them and they started working on things. They sent a text with a link to a summary of findings that included pictures and video of my car broken down in categories from things that can wait to things that make the car legit unsafe to drive. Unfortunate there was something else found that made my car unsafe, a bad tie rod end, but I didn't need to worry I was being duped because there was video evidence right on my phone showing my how it was bad and an explanation of why that's dangerous. Thankfully the quote on that repair was great as well AND they still offered to get it done same day! To end the day THEY DELIVERED MY CAR TO MY HOUSE when it was done. I put emphasized this because it kind of blows my mind. I've had vehicles towed to shops before (costly), been offered rides to come pick me up and take me to get my cars when they've been finished (usually free), but this was a first for having my car delivered to me and it was free. Took our car there twice and zima put the wrong part on it both times. we didn't know it at first until we took it somewhere else . Zima told us that we will have to come back because our transmission needed replaced. Our "transmission" started acting up a few months later. We took it to another place and sure enough our transmission was fine. Zima out on the wrong size axel and it had been leaking transmission fluid for months. Call Zima and they wouldn't do anything unless we had the car towed back to them , we decided against that as the new shop had the car torn apart and the correct part ordered. Zima told us to bring the ole part in and they would help us. My husband took time off work and took the part in, Max said they wouldn't do anything and how he was surprised that our car even made it out of their parking lol. my husband drives 40 mins to and from work every day. we are very thankful that things started messing up in town and not on the highway. We were out $600. And still had to pay a new place. We don't have the money to just waste $600 read more

When I had talked to the guys at Zima, they were all nice and provided me with what I needed to know with my car and what I needed to do as far as paying for it. But when I got my car back, my brakes started to go out within a week of using it. I took it to someone else when I wasn't contacted on what I needed to do next when I had brought it up to Zima. The other people that I brought my car to instantly knew what wheel barring was worked on and said that they had pinched a line which caused a leak with my brakes. Zima had told me that everything was fine other than what they needed to fix. I am now paying up to $4,000 with them. read more
