Came here for drinks on a Saturday night with my sister in law and loved the experience. The ambience was relaxing and calm. The drinks were strong and the staff was friendly. I can't wait to visit again.

I came here with a friend to just grab a quick drink.... well that definitely turned into 3 Heminway Daquiri later they were really good. The bartender she makes amazing drinks super friendly. It was a Tuesday night so it was a quiet night. They have empanadas on the menu but that night they only had Spinach. My friend had the painkiller which was good too but mines were so much better The decor in the place is soooo freaking gorgeous. It gives you a wild sexy jungle feel!

This place was pretty cool. The vibe was great. They played good music. The drinks were tasty and you didn't feel ripped off on the amount of alcohol they poured. Prices were somewhat decent. The place was clean and the bartenders were nice. Nothing much to say here, this place was very solid. Located in the heart of bed stuy. I'd come here again. You should check it out.

I'm a sucker for a good tiki bar, we started at one bar and found out some friends were here so we decided to make our way over and I am glad we did. They have awesome outdoor seating that we decided to enjoy, I love the decorations; and it was great to hang out. Our waitress was awesome, sometimes when you sit outside they forget about you, she certainly didn't which was awesome. They have a number of your typical tiki drinks, I decided to try something I had never had called the Saturn and it was delicious! It is gin based with a great blend of fruits and lemon juice, they also came in these awesome shark glasses which I loved! I really enjoyed myself and can't wait to get back here!

Overall rating: 4.9 I absolutely love this place, but I've learned it depends on the bartender if I love the place or if I absolutely love this place. The first time I went, the music was sooo good. The vibe was everything. I felt like I could be there for hours. I went on a date which just went okay, but I knew I'd be back again. It's a spot where I know I can go solo or on a date, which is my favorite kind of place. The second time I went I liked as well. But the music wasn't the same vibe as I got initially. It was a little bit more grungy than I would have liked, especially for a tiki-style bar. I wish I remembered the day I went on the first time, so I can just repeat that experience but so worth the visit. They also have a HH deal that's amazing. I wish I remembered it, but you can find it on the menu. Also definitely a late night, night caps spot.

If you're looking for a unique and vibrant Tiki experience, this is THE PLACE to be at. The ambiance is playful and inviting with colorful decor and neon lights that set the perfect mood. Their Tiki-inspired cocktails are not only delicious but also creatively presented in adorable cups that add to the fun. I've visited Zig Zag Bar twice now, and both times have been memorable. The staff is friendly, the vibe is nice, and the outdoor seating is a bonus! If you're in the mood for a casual hangout with friends, a night of enjoyment, and some good cocktails, Zig Zag Bar is a must-visit!

Chill ambiance, mood lighting that sets an intimate vibe. Great music tracks at a moderate volume, modern and colorful decore. Imaginative and tasty drinks. Wonderful service. The area is a bit sketchy, but most patrons were cool.

Such a cute tiki bar down the street of my friend's place. I love love love tiki bars and this was a good find. The decor was so cute and the service was great. Bathroom was nice and clean too! When at a tiki bar, I obviously get a piña colada. It was delicious. I came here before dinner, and then we wanted drinks after dinner and I came back again for more. In total I had 3 piña coladas that day :)

Do they have any tiki mugs for sale?

I asked when I was there a few weeks ago and was told no but they might have changed it since then since it's still a new place?

The stars finally aligned this winter and I had the opportunity to try it out. The vibes are perfect. Fog and bubbles, sea noises and all of the art go together seemlessly. Drinks were great. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

Cocktails are made with various types of rum and ingredients like grapefruit, maraschino, wormwood amaro, falernum, thyme, Assam tea, spiced lime, allspice, coconut, cucumber, nutmeg, sour orange. All the drinks keep with the tropical, fruity taste with a hint of spice. They are also broken up into categories (dry land = no alcohol, shallows = average amount of alcohol, and abyss (larger amounts of alcohol). The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. I had the French fries with kimchi ranch, which were underwhelming. Bartenders were cool and kept the drinks coming. I got in immediately without an issue or a wait, but it was right after a snowstorm. I've seen some people struggle to get in or have a long wait.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

That's a good thing to be very strong for that price I'm paying. The spam musubi was also a rip-off. You see two here, but each one costs its own $10, so save your money. Eat somewhere else. We had reserved a table outside and called in the morning and afternoon to confirm that we had the table. When we walked in, they tried to put us at the table that was in the room between the main area and the outside area. That room was extremely hot as instead of A/C, they had just 2 fans and also, we would have been bothered by people walking back and forth by us. After calling the manager, they have reluctantly agreed to sit us outside. I think what happened is they had a large party of 30 people outside and probably have given up one of the tables for it. Once we were seated, everything went well. I had coconut shrimp and split hanger steak main with my friends. It was 8 of us so everyone tried different things and loved them.

I ordered the Hibiscus Margarita ($15), which was ok. I think frozen would've been tastier than on the rocks, but it was too cold. The fiancé's Bushwacker ($15) tiki cocktail was good though and came in a fun tiki cup. Definitely recommend the tiki cocktails here. They also have a covered outdoor patio that is also covered in sand. Seems like the perfect spot for a frozen tiki cocktail on a hot summer day, though they really made the best of it even in the winter.

There are certainly things to love about Williamsburg but something I tire of is how many businesses in the area seem to adhere to a more formulaic rubric and in the process ends up feeling generic and less memorable. Pokito is a place that knows what it is and its essence is palpable. We only stopped in for one drink but I almost felt like an interloper upon entry, like I was walking into a party I wasn't invited to. This is not to say I felt unwelcome, but more that I am not a regular here and most of the other patrons seemed to know one another and the staff, which I much prefer to a more impersonal vibe. Overall, Pokito is fun and funky and chill and has seriously good cocktails that are creative and refined. We came here after dinner on a Saturday night, probably around 10:30. It was decently busy and most seats were taken but luckily the two vacant ones were two stools at the bar which we happily grabbed. Though I am never one to pass up a dirty martini and I still have FOMO when I look at Pokito's menu now, I ended up ordering the Smoki Negroni (suntory roku gin, campari, sweet vermouth, smoked lapsang souchong black tea and orange bitters) because I had ordered a dirty martini at dinner and a negroni was feeling like the right choice for this time of night. This one was as good as any, made special by the addition of smoked lapsang souchong which I've had in cocktails a few times it always adds some rich, earthy, smoky notes to a drink. Though we weren't here for too long, Pokito made an impact. On a different night, I could easily see myself spending much more time here -- it's perfect for a late night hang with a small group.

Decor inside was cool and had a variety of bar seats, booths, small tables. The second time we came we tried the backyard (which was actually why we went the first time!). Backyard was super spacious and had a lot of seating. Chicken sando was delicious (albeit messy to eat) and the fries were still crispy despite the yummy sauces on top!
