This is my fifth currywurst place I went to in Berlin. I went to curry 36 , Konnopke's Imbiss and so on. I think this place is the best one. Inside of the restaurant is very clean and they got a nice seat facing toward outside where you could feel cool light breeze. For food, they asked me how spicy I wanted and when I ate it, it was great because the spiciness was just what I wanted. And It was not that crispy but was as crispy as I loved. Then for french fries, they were nice and crispy. It seemed like they just deepfried them. I love this place. I definitely come back again.

Currywurst with Ketchup(30cents extra), spicy onion(1 Euro), and Bratwurst. Very good :D

This is a family run restaurant, continued business since around 1960s. The current owner is the grandson of the couple that runs the show. Food is as good as it gets compared to its cheap price. Despite being fast-foody, the setting is surprisingly professional with them serving the food through their 'Texas-style' swing door. The husband (grandson) that runs the restaurant is kinda sturdy and scary (reminded me of the Terminator) but seemingly nice guy. His wife who also works there is very welcoming. Would've given 5 stars if ketchup was free and the husband felt more warm like those sausages in cold November Berlin. Recommended for some sit-in sausages!

I walked up to the counter and with my limited German I ordered the currywurst and fries (with ketchup because I'm American ;) ).

We had the pleasure to get to know the owner - Alex. A young extremely friendly and caring person…read morewho made his passion creating asian type smash burger become a business. Since we wanted to help his parents, he added other vietnamnese dishes made by his parents. What was good: DEFINITELY the burgers! That's why this place was created in the first place. The signature umami burger for 7.90€ is absolute bomb. Nice soft sweet butter brioche bun with two thin sliced black angus beef patty's on a slight spicy wasabi kind of mayonnaise. It was good! You can't go wrong with burger here! The umami meatless for 7.50 tasted slightly different because the beef makes a lot of difference. The patty is more bean flavored. Overall the burgers are great but heavy and greasy! What we'd skip next time: The pho was good but not outstanding. 9.90€ is slightly higher priced than other spots in Berlin. Same for the bun cha lot 9.90€. Dau Sot Ca for 5€ could be entire dish by itself that lacked in flavor where you could taste the tomato ketchup in the sauce. For 5€ it's a good deal. The chicken nuggets karaage for 5.50€ were crispy, crunchy and soft, served in a sweet sour sauce which was good! Overall: we love this place because of the owners attitude to help his parents and fulfill his dreams. This place is Definitely not a tourist trap although it's customers are mostly tourists. Momo tavern used to be ranked on #1 on TripAdvisor and when it comes to there burgers - it's definitely worth a visit. When it comes to the rest it's not super special and might be slightly overpriced due to the location right at the Alexander Platz Fernsehturm. Would we come again? If we really crave burger - yes for the umami burger!
