The two locations, Troy & Vandalia, are franchise locations that Ziebart Corporate doesn't stand behind. Corporate doesn't stand behind the name or the franchise locations. After contacting the dealership (out of state) where my car was purchased, the dealership agreed to cover the cost of having the tint redone. On 9/16/16, my 2015.5 Volvo S60 was brought to Ziebart on Poe Avenue (937-890-8782) to put a ceramic tint on the Front and Rear Driver's Window, The Front and Rear Passenger Windows, and the rear Windshield at a cost of $606.38 (Pages 1 to 3). Ziebart requested the car be left with them from 9Am to 5PM that day. The car was then picked up at the end of the day. After returning home, it was noticed that there was hair and dirt under the rear window tint (Pictures on Page 7 and 8). A call was placed to Ziebart and an appointment was arranged to have the job redone on 9/23/16. In the interim, but before Ziebart redid the tint, the front Passenger window had a problem (Pictures on Page 4,5,6). On 9/21/16, I went down in person to speak to the manager regarding the problems that had arisen. The manager refused to accept responsibility and blamed me for the problems. He was very rude and belligerent in the process. I left the store, still keeping the appointment on 9/23/16. A call + email were made to corporate and Corey Ward (317-534-0282) called on 9/22/16. Corey directed me to cancel the appointment to have all windows redone at Poe Avenue and take the car to the Troy, Ohio ZIebart after speaking to the Manager / Owner AMY MCKINNON. On 9/23/16, the car was taken to Ziebart Troy and left from 9AM to 5PM. I spoke to Amy McKinnon when the car was dropped off and indicated the appointment at Poe Avenue was to have all windows redone. Amy acknowledged me and took the keys. Upon picking up the car, I noticed only the Rear Windshield and Front Passenger Windows had been corrected. I spoke to Amy and she indicated after the fact that Corey Ward Only authorized the two windows. I explained that all windows were to have been redone, as was the appointment setup at Poe Avenue. I was then directed to bring the car back on 9/24/16 to have the work redone on the remaining windows. On 9/24/16, the car was taken to Ziebart Troy. The remaining windows (Front Driver, Rear Driver, and Rear Passenger) were redone. On the way home, I immediately noticed problems with the tint. There was a 2 inch crease running down the Front Driver's Window. A few hours later, I was able to Drive up to Troy for the third time and brought the problem to Amy's attention. She then took the car back again, and had the front window re-tinted. The retint on the front Driver's window is still unsatisfactory (Pictures 9 and 10). A line / crease are present. Likewise, the Rear Driver has Tool Marks / Scratches (Picture 11), The Front Passenger has Excessive Bubbling (Picture 12), and Rear Passenger has Tool Marks / Scratches (Picture 13). Ziebart has had 4 attempts to correct their workmanship, and has only made the problem worse with each subsequent attempt. Ziebart has been unable to perform the agreed upon services after being given ample opportunity. Ziebart refuses to refund the money. read more

We encountered a major problem with the Ziebart Gold Shield Package we purchased from Troy, Ziebart in 2019. We took the truck back to the Troy location on December, 16 for our annual 3 point inspection of rust, paint and fabric protection. Upon picking up the truck we encountered rude and disrespectful treatment in the parking lot, where we made the exchange, due to Covid restrictions. We simply brought to the employee's attention, a stain on the front seat which was not removed. She told us we would have to contact the manager and abruptly walked away. We called and after no answer, left a message on their recorder. When the woman came out of the building a second time, we told her we were unable to reach a manager, she stated insistently that she was the manager and had been for 16 years, as if we had no further recourse. Her response was quite belligerent and demeaning in front of several other customers, also there to retrieve their vehicles. She informed us that we would have to pay to have the stain cleaned, also declaring they do not "work for free". We were not asking for free labor but that they fulfill the contract we made with them. When we asked what the fabric protection was for if not to prevent staining, she mentioned that the truck was a 2017, as if that should make a difference in the treatment or attention our vehicle received. Ziebart website states fabric protection prevents staining or full refund. We told her that it made no sense to us that we would pay for fabric protection if we had to pay for stain removal. She rudely walked away towards another customer. We contacted Ziebart Corporate with no resolution. We received an email stating they would forward the complaint to the owner of the franchise, which owns other locations. We have heard nothing. Apparently Ziebart and those representing the company do not value their customers. read more

Best Yet...Ziebart had to be taken to Small Claims to Secure a Refund on Tint Job. Now it looks like We'll be back in Small Claims to Repair the $1000 + in Damages to Rear Defrost. Took my 2017 F-150 to troy ohio ziebart for remote start and rhino liner. Ended up adding rust proofing and full detail "inside and out" to it. The remote start maybe the best thing ive ever bought for my truck! Works everytime and in my opinion has already been well worth it in this terrible ohio winters. The bedliner looks amazing!! Now my coolers and stuff doesnt slide around in the bed like it used to. The outside detail was so good i didnt even recognize my truck when i showed up to get it. The inside detail made my trucks interior look almost brand new again!! They were extremely helpful with all my questions and called me as soon as it was finished. A++ read more

I have been having my car internally detailed here for years! I was recommended to them by my parents. I've always loved the transformation and deep clean they give my car but this time around was outstanding, it looked brand new! Got window tint,rust proofing,inside detail and remote start on my wifes traverse. She loves everything. The inside detail worked wonders on the mess our two children had made.
