In a word? EXPENSIVE! They kept my car way too long. Several weak excuses. Tanner at the Poe Avenue location promised to have my car detailed there if I purchase the rust proofing. I spent almost $1,000 that day. When I picked the car up and complained that it wasn't detailed, Tanner said he never promised that. So dishonest. I will look for an alternative next time. Edit: They completely butchered my rear window defroster. They actually have you sign a waiver before they start on rear windows with defrosters built in. I asked the gentleman at the counter how likely it would be that the defroster got damaged. His answer was, "Our guy who's going to do it has been at this for over 25 years. It's very rare that a defroster will be damaged." It looks absolutely horrible. I ended up spending $806 on a new back window and a proper tinting job. Ziebart is even more awful than I initially thought they were. Michelle, the "Business Manager", referred me to Ziebart's customer service email. There, I found some people who absolutely could not care less about the customer. All they do is defend their position and get taken to small claims court... A LOT! Very dishonest people in that organization. That's the reason they put up with people on the front line, lying to the customer. It's part of their culture. I am sure a few of the stores are probably a safe bet. Stay away from the Poe Avenue store! Wanna have some fun? Do a web search for "Does Ziebart damage defrosters." It is a bit of a rabbit hole. But if you want to get into it, you will conclude what I and many other customers concluded. STAY AWAY FROM ZIEBART! Many better options available for window tinting in the area. You would do well to take advantage of them. Check if they have five star rating on Google and Yelp. Choose Wisely. read more

*PLEASE READ* Don't walk...RUN from this place! I made the mistake of using Ziebart to coat the frame of my Toyota Tacoma truck. After 3 years of annual touch up service, another issue lead me to realize that the frame had gone from no issues to totally shot!! Massive holes throughout. They let me drive off after the recent touch up service without mentioning how dangerous of shape the frame was in. My mechanic couldn't even raise the truck on the lift for safety reasons, that's how bad the frame was. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

10/26/22 took our new f-150 Rocky ridge truck to have the underbody coating and paint protection and interior protection applied. We have over 100,000 invested in that truck and there wasn't a scratch on it. Matt took care of us, we went to pick up the truck and we're getting ready to leave and I noticed a dent and a scratch on the door. Matt said he thought they called and told us, but said he would have it fixed. He said the buffer head flew off and hit it . That was 6 weeks and a dozen calls to Matt and it still isn't fixed! They promise to call right back and nothing ever happens.. also the paint protection has bubbles in it. I left my Ridgeline with Ziebart for two full weeks. They said they would pressure wash the underside & undercoat it. Three years later, the cross member that supports my gas tank rusted through! As I looked underneath the truck I could see where there hadn't been any undercoating! Five years later the frame on both sides rusted through! Lesson learned, thanx Ziefart!! read more

I had a spray on Bed liner put on and they did a thorough and fantastic job. It looks great. They also installed a tonneau cover that was recommended to me by the owner and I love it. I had interior detailing done on my car, and my seats were wet for a week. Whatever they sprayed on the inside of all my windows kept Condensating for four days. I was wiping my windows off, resulting in streaks everywhere my car smelled like ammonia. I had to drive with my windows down use the inside defrost on my car every morning. We called and received a quote for an interior/exterior detailing of my SUV. I got there and the man walked around my vehicle with me, marking dents and scratches and asked me to sign off on the findings, which I did. Unbeknownst to me, they had actually raised the prices on us and that was on that form. Sneaky right? A $100 cost difference. I was also told it take 4-6 hours to complete the detailing. After 6 hours, the car was still not done. When my husband went to pick up the vehicle later he complained about the price increase. The manager said he was being rude when he demanded answers and refused to hand the keys over to our car. My husband had to call the police to come so we could get out vehicle back! The officer came and took his statement and told the manager to then over the keys immediately. My husband paid them and we finally got the SUV back. What an ordeal! The work done to the vehicle was actually sub par at best. Extremely expensive for what was actually done. They never shampooed the interior. There was a film left on the inside and outside of the windows (that dripped and was messy), and a water drop left under the plastic covering on the gear shift. The vents weren't dusted, nor was the center console area arm rest vacuumed out. There were multiple streak marks left and also white wax paste on the black door jams. These are simple items in any car detailing. The car wasn't vacuumed out as well as it could have been either. This was supposed to be an early Mother's Day gift, but honestly my kids could have done a better job themselves than these so called professionals. Bottom line - avoid this place. Total rip off and they lie to you. Very shoddy work and not worth the expense. The pictures speak for themselves. Management and customer service are also horrible. read more

Recently, I purchased a used 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and brought it here for a Rhino Liner truck bed liner. The staff was excellent. They removed the old drop-in bed liner, they touched up the areas that had some surface rust, and then applied the Rhino Lining. In under 3 hours they did an immaculate job. They are a great group of people to work with. They communicate well and do everything they can to make your experience with them positive. I wish every business I dealt with treated me the way they did. Besides the people the product and services they sell are top notch, it is worth the extra money to get your car rust proofed, paint sealed and upholstery sealed considering how much a car cost today. Paid for interior and exterior detail ($300). Noticed the damage done to the dash and the missing vent piece. First, immediately contacted Ziebart through FaceBook messaging where they said to contact corporate. Corporate said to contact the location. I expressed my concern and had photos as proof but they side-stepped responsibility for the damage saying, "You would have had to contact them either via phone or in person to show the damage {...} after further review of your photos and your last email response, we still cannot accept responsibility." I also mentioned that while outside, I along with two other customers, witnessed loud profanity from the detail bay. My car was in the bay at the time. They responded, "If you had the conscious thought of hoping that is wasn't your son's car involved, we are sure you would have inspected the vehicle extra carefully before leaving." This was my first and definitely my LAST use of this service and will share my experience of (not just poor, but) NO CUSTOMER SERVICE with whomever will listen. read more

In July 2019, I purchased a new F150 and brought it here for the full works including undercoating, Rhino Liner bed lining, window sealer, and Fabric Protector. I also got a folding bed cover. Even though the F150 has an aluminum body and will not develop red rust, it will oxidize and develop "white rust". The frame and fasteners are made from steel and they will rust. This is why I had that done. I brought the truck in on July 22, 2020 for an annual check. They pressure washed the underside for examination. There were some areas that needed touch-up and they took care of that. (I drive this truck down some gravel and dirt roads) I was happy with the prompt service, the time taken to explain the services being done and other services available. I did not feel pressure to buy additional services. The Rhino Liner din't have any damage after a year of homeowner-type use. While I was there, a college student came in to get his windows tinted. He was relocating to Florida, and the manager took the time to look up the Florida regulations so he would be able to stay in compliance. Bottom line: I recommend Ziebart of Fairfield. read more

Back in December 2019, I was late for my appointment for just a little over an hour (was supposed to be there at 9:00am but arrived at 10:10am). Even though this was only for interior detailing and my car was driven and ridden by no one except me, the store manager (Matt) refused to honor to commit to finishing the work by end of day. This meant that I'd be stranded until the following day if they didn't finish it that same day. But, what was more shocking was the fact that when I brought the car the next day and I was on time, the store manager waited quite over a couple of hours to call and let me know that they are refusing to do this interior detailing for my car at all. Having been a 30+ year faithful customer of Ziebart, I expected a quality product with professional sales and service. Unfortunately, what I received since November, 2019 has been anything but that! There are many problems I have experienced and sadly the service recovery has been worse than the job itself! I would not recommend this product or Ziebart in Fairfield, OH to anyone. Here are the details as to why: In November, 2019 I took my brand new 2019 Sprinter van to Ziebart in Fairfield, OH to discuss having the Rhino Liner system installed on the interior floor of the cargo area. I was assured that they would properly prepare and place it, including the application of a primer coating for proper adhesion. Also, I was told they would spray the same thickness of coating as what is in pickup truck bed liners (.125" or 1/8" inch thick). To my dismay, when picking up my van, the sloppy application was oversprayed on the walls of the van and the application was not placed where I specifically instructed it to be done. I was informed to bring it back and they would clean the overspray and discuss repairing the areas they forgot. When picking up the van for the second time, the cleanup job of the overspray had removed the powder coating on the metal Easy Track inside the van, which to fix that, I was told to fix it myself and just file a claim with them.   To spray the areas they forgot the first time, I was to bring it back, but then COVID hit and everything was put on hold. In August, I was vacuuming the cargo area that had the Rhino Liner applied in November 2019 and it started to bubble up and peel off. I soon realized there was an adhesion failure with the Rhino Liner and upon measuring its thickness, instead of being .125 or 1/8" thick, it was a quarter of that thickness according to a digital caliper measurement, measuring only .035" in thickness.  When I brought it to Ziebart to have these problems addressed and for them to remove it in preparation for re-application, all the caulking I had placed at the seams came off with the Rhino liner. The caulking was the only material the Rhino Liner stuck to! I would have to reapply this caulking at my own expense (polyurethane auto body caulk at $26/tube x3) and spend my own time before they could re-apply the Rhino Liner. At this point I was also informed that the primer was mistakenly not applied and there was no reason as to why it wasn't the proper thickness. After these next failures on Zeibart's part and after spending 4 trips there and still being unsatisfied with an incomplete job, I have lost all faith in the Ziebart product and service. As a business owner, I cannot afford to make multiple long trips to their shop for continued disappointing and poor service. I have asked for a complete refund and was told that the product has a lifetime warranty and that all they would do was reapply the product and offer no refund. This is not acceptable to me and I would like to voice my great dissatisfaction of service on every level of the Ziebart franchise in Fairfield, OH. read more

My son gave me a gift card for Mother's Day for over $300 to have my car detailed. We took it up and dropped it off because we were told there was no place to wait. My son got off work and we went and picked it up. When driving home, I noticed that the windows had not been touched. I called the next day and talked to Matt and he told me that he walked around the car three times and it looked fine to him -all but acid spots on the glass. This was a big lie because there was still paper on the window from my park sticker. He said to bring it back up and they would clean the glass. This meant dropping it off and driving back up to pick it up. There is still $4. and some change on the gift card. I called yesterday and talked to Matt and asked him to send me a check for the amount. He told me that they don't do that. He said I can spend that when I come back there. I told him that I would not be back. He told me then I guess you just lose the $4. We did not set the price - they did. Therefore I think I should get a check. This is a terrible way to do business. Do not come here!!! They damage your vehicle and refuse to be held accountable! Look at reviews. You are taking a risk when asking them to even touch your vehicle whether it is tint or detailing. For instance if they need to repair a tint job they did incorrectly the first time they will rip it off and if it is the rear window good luck in your defrost working again. read more

I had my tint done here and after two weeks my rear window had tons of bubbles. I made an appointment to have the rear window redone and was told it would possibly take an hour no more then 90 minutes. They also made me sign a waiver saying the rear defroster may be damaged because they have to remove the tint. I asked them why, I had to sign that when they are the ones who didn't install the tint correctly? Doesn't make sense to me that I'd be liable for there poor craftsmanship. After waiting 3 hours my vehicle was finally completed. I mean come on 3 hours for one window!!!! I had a great experience with Matt and the team at Ziebart in Fairfield. We just purchased a 2018 Ford Expedition Max and wanted to protect it for the years to come. It was easy to schedule the appointment, they welcomed us to the store with great energy, explained clearly what they were going to do, and worked with our schedule to ensure we would be able to leave the vehicle and get it back when we needed it. They delivered on all of their commitments and ahead of schedule. Once more, Matt showed us what was done; answered our questions, including those we wouldn't have thought to ask; and gave us the information we would need to come back in the future.
