Fruiti di mare

We found this place as we were walking out of Vatican City and one of those people who try to advertise for their restaurant. I didn't actually check the claim of being cheaper than the pizza places in the Vatican City area but that sold us to check this place out. We were brought by one of the women who worked here; otherwise, it would have taken us a little bit to find this place. There were a few people here eating and there were plenty of large tables with plenty of lighting. I ordered the Margherita pizza (€6.50) since I was in search of one here in Italy. My friend ordered the Fruiti di mare (€10) and we had sparkling water (€3). Our pizzas came out after a while and both looked like it was enough for one person. The Margherita pizza was good, but I was expecting a basil leaf on it. I was not really full after I finished it but that was just me. It would probably be enough for most people. Good pizza here and close by to the Vatican City area.

In Rome with my parents and as we were done with our tour of Vatican City, we were hungry, and randomly greeted by the son of the restaurant's owner who walked us to Zi Adele. I recommend it if you're in Vatican City! The calamari was fresh, the wine was great (drank a bottle of white wine recommended by the waitress), and the pizza was one of the best I've had ( I picked the prosciutto pizza). Plus, you get free wifi and friendly service. So we were happy to have a nice lunch here! Clearly, old school marketing still works!

Nice little restaurant just outside the Vatican walls. Fair priced restaurant with good food. The owners son got our attention when we were leaving the Vatican he was a very friendly so we decided to give the restaurant a try. We were so were glad we did.

Zi Adele, best pizza in Rome!

If ever in Rome, give this place a try! Zi Adele is near the Vatican; it is hidden in one of the side streets. A guy on the main avenue was handing menus and we followed him. Once inside it is your typical Italian restaurant, very nice and clean. We had the best pizza in town. We ordered several different pizza's, Perroni Beer and soft drinks. The Beer was super cold and the pizzas were great. My son usually leaves half the pizza uneaten, but not this time!

Pizza menu. The have pasta, salads, soups, meat etc

Difficult to see but found after walking under vatican wall arch out to city. Took a chance. We were hot and tired after St. Peters and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. Pizza was good, typical. prosciutto and cantaloupe melon was light and refreshing. Garlic bread was hot and with olive oil and garlic brushed on rustic bread. Food was perfect for lunch.

Margherita pizza £6.50. So cheap but so delicious. Generous portion too.

Cheap place to eat near the Vatican City. Good service. Great prices and generous portion. Free wifi, clean bathroom. What more of you want?

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.

Bufala pizza with red sauce and lasagna was excellent. Seating was fast and good serviceread more
