Stunk so bad; check engine lights were on; went out of gear twice while driving; mirror buttons were broken to the point you could not adjust the mirrors. There were more than 40 dings and scratches. The interior was disgusting. Staff will not reply. I have reported to AARP, BBB, Trip Advisor, Google and now yelp. Once the government shutdown ends I plan on reporting to the FTC. This was easily one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. Waited 1.5 hours at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) for a shuttle while watching every other company cycle through multiple times. Zezgo showed up once. That sets the tone for everything. No one answers the phone. Their voicemail box is full -- which tells you exactly how much they value customers. The pickup process was complete chaos -- no staff presence, no organization, just people cutting in line and arguing. After nearly two hours, we got to their location. Check-in was painfully slow, and the employee couldn't have cared less. The room was full of frustrated customers watching the same train wreck unfold. The car itself was in rough shape -- scuffs, dings, and not even a full tank of gas. But the worst part? We came back later that night and the car was INFESTED with German cockroaches. We tried calling -- again, no answer. Even Travelocity couldn't get through to them. At that point, we had zero trust in this company and rented another car from the airport just to avoid dealing with them further. This isn't just bad service -- it's negligence. During my rental, the vehicle suddenly stopped working due to a dead battery, leaving me stranded and unable to use the car for the rest of my trip. When I contacted them, roadside assistance was not available due to limited hours, and instead of providing real help, I was told to find someone myself to jump-start the car. If I could leave a negative star, I would. This company exemplifies a scam operation. Initially, they lure customers in with attractive rates. We booked a rental car for five days in Orlando, Florida, for $190 through Expedia. Upon our arrival at MCO, we called the rental company and were instructed to wait at A11 or B11. After about ten minutes, we called again, and I informed the operator we needed a shuttle for eight people with luggage. She assured us it would take 15 minutes for a shuttle to arrive. However, that 15 minutes stretched to 21 minutes for a mere 5.8-mile drive. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was already occupied and didn't have enough seats for all of us. My family had to squeeze into the vehicle--six of us in the back row and my parents sharing a second row with a stranger. By the time we reached the rental location, I was already frustrated. The agent presented us with two options: A) a credit card hold of $1000 or B) a daily fee of $12.99 for a deposit waiver, with a minimum charge of $50. He claimed the $1000 hold was fully refundable but only if paid with a credit card. I only learned about Option B by reading the sign posted nearby. We opted for a SunPass, knowing Florida's tolls could add up. This increased our bill to $202, bringing the total closer to $400. Next came the condition of the vehicles. One looked like a work vehicle and had paint splatters on the interior, while another van smelled as if someone had cooked a sandwich on the engine. The cleaning was clearly subpar. When I asked the agent about the wait time for a shuttle to return the vehicle, he stated it would be 20-25 minutes after dropping off. We decided to schedule an Uber instead. The final straw was the requirement to take multiple pictures and videos of the vehicle, which I've shared below. Overall, I would much rather pay upfront with companies like Enterprise, Avis, or Sixt than face these unpleasant surprises. I do NOT recommend ZezGo at all. read more

DO NOT RENT ‼ Posting on here as I could not find the San Juan, PR location. I rented through Expedia out of the San Juan, PR location. We called them twice to notify them of our arrival, and waited 35 minutes for someone to arrive. They are VERY misleading, and I see from reading other reviews that everyone got scammed on the insurance portion. They would not take our insurance, even though we have full coverage and made us pay about $500 in addition to what we already paid to reserve. Not to mention, the site offered the car for about $471 for 7 days which we thought was an OK gig. Upon arriving we got rudely introduced to the $500 deposit "policy" and the additional $571 for insurance coverage. Before we even left the lot we noticed the light was coming up for needing wind shield fluid, which we asked them to fill before we left. On day 1, our remote would not unlock/lock the doors, we called and were told to buy a new one and we would be reimbursed. On day 2 we realized Car play/bluetooth was no longer working after we had used it all throughout day 1. It never let us connect after day 1, AT ALL. On day 3, the check engine light turned on. Also On day 3 one of the back tires had a slow leak and was losing air, we had to fill it 2 times during our 7 day stay AND a nice person who was driving behind us told us the back lights were NOT working while they were ON!!! So we had been driving the entire vacation with no break lights. On day 5 we decided to go to the beach and the car started misfiring on the highway, we had to pull over twice. It was all ridiculous, and very frustrating- imagine going on vacation and having to worry about your car rental every morning. We tried to plan things locally because we were really afraid of this piece of work falling apart on us. $500 for insurance on a car that's all beat up, inside and out, I'm 100% sure any additional damage made on this car would go unnoticed. That's how terrible it looks. We are very disgusted with this place and how they go on about handling situations, they show little to no care and want you or expect you to take care of any issues on your own, how about giving the cars routine maintenance? How about making sure these cars atleast LOOK like the amount the customers come to spend?? $1,500 later, we are very disappointed and dissatisfied with Zesgo. Nightmare experience with ZEZGO Reservations thru Expedia. 1) First off, they are off site from the airport. 2) the shuttle driver was the only good part, Michael. 3) they wouldn't accept our car insurance. There were only about 5 "fly by night" car INSURANCE agencies that they would accept. I had Triple AAA, Auto Club. There was a huge upcharge for theirs. 4) then we started to pay them what they wanted, and found out we couldn't drive out of state. We were in Florida, wanted to visit relatives in Georgia. They said the car would shut off if we did! 5) after about 3 hours there (people in front of us were also having issues with them and finally left), then we left too. A rickety shuttle van, brakes squeak suspension is shot, picks you up at the airport and takes you twenty minutes to a very industrial area. Then the games begin. They require very high insurance coverages , 500K liability minimum. Don't have that ? They require you to buy an insurance policy for $350. You say no, they keep your rental fee. $1000 hold on a credit card when I have full coverage insurance and coverage through the credit card I am renting with is beyond ridiculous. The cost to waive it was cheaper than adding my wife as a licensed driver so we could put it on her card. This tacked on $100 for the waiver and then I had to pay another $111 dollars for a Sunpass for what was probably going to be $10 in tolls for the whole week or $25 for each toll that was passed through. Could not use our own Sunpass. Both together was $225 in extra fees after taxes and processing (who are you, Ticketmaster?) that were tacked on and were downright criminal. Bait and switch tactics that had me at a disadvantage since I was pretty much stuck at the rental location at that point. If the "advanced" check in was the e-mail that was received it is extremely suspicious and there is no way I would give the info required for that over the internet. If it's the booth in the location, where I was basically in a Zoom callm well that was downright horrible. Hard to to hear the agent and he was extremely abrasive. The booth was stuffy and hot, not even a fan. I was not shown to my vehicle, nor did anyone go over it with me to review the condition. I have the car fully photographed and video recording as well. I had to click the fob until I located the car. I even had to help the elderly couple who rode in the shuttle with us to get their key and find their car (by clicking the fob also.) The car was filthy. There was stuff all over the roof of the car, the driver's side floorboard was dirty and muddy. The interior windshield was filthy making it almost impossible to drive at night. The windshield wipers were terrible. I almost broke down and bought new ones so I could drive home the one night it rained while we were there, but I knew I wouldn't get reimbursed. Android Auto was disabled on the vehicle so I could not navigate using the dashboard display. I'm sure this was something they tried to upsell me on, but I declined. I could have rented a car from Dollar, Thrifty, or Enterprise actually AT the airport for what I was charged after the surprise fees. Also, the car would shudder and shake at stoplights. He accused us of talking over him and threatened not to allow us to rent our car. Additionally, I have never had a car rental place ask to see my personal car insurance information or pay to use their insurance. Nor have I been forced to have a $1,000 hold on a credit card in case any damages occur. The rigidity of the rules that did not allow my companion and I to use a credit card other than one that belonged to the primary driver was cumbersome. The attendant tried to sell us a toll pass and after we declined; he continued to threaten that we would be charged an exorbitant amount of fees by them if we mistakenly passed a toll. Lastly, the car we received had damage to it. The bumper had a dent and the windshield had a crack in it. Fearful that I would be charged for these damages, I documented this with photos. My experience wasn't as bad as most of the reviews. Yes, the policy about the tolls and paying for a pass is ridiculous. The total was $68, I believe for the pass. However, my family planned to do a lot of driving, so we dealt with it. Also, we were unaware of the insurance policy. Again, annoying, but it was ~$60, so wasn't crazy expensive. The shuttle was perfect and arrived on time both from and to the airport. The drivers were friendly, so no problems there. Cisco helped us at the front desk, and upgraded our car to a brand new Nissan Rogue. Perfect condition. I definitely work with him if you go here. Our drop off was before the office opened.
