A waste of money and time. Booking carpet cleaning for 4 bedrooms and a walk-in closet for around $309. Process was smooth and professional. When the tech arrived, he inspected and recommended another $ 75 per room special treatment because of 'pet bio'. Another $300 brought the total to ~ $609. Even though we had our own carpet cleaner and always cleaned up after the accidents, we agreed as this was our post-dog clean and we wanted to 'do it right'. (This is a 13-pound Yorkie, btw) Again, very smooth and professional. Tech was very nice. However, the results were unsatisfactory. After $600+ in treat/cleaning, our carpets were wet and frankly, not clean. We put several fans and a dehumidifier on our carpets over the next 36 hours, in addition to cranking down the A/C, and managed to achieve mostly dry carpets, only to discover that many of the stains remained and carpet still smelled. We called back and asked for a re-treat, explaining that many stains did not come out. The 're-treat' was effectively the new tech spot-cleaning the stains he noted or we pointed out, and not re-cleaning the carpet as a whole. The cleaning chemicals he put down were not extracted, nor were the spots clean, with the carpet just swirled around. The spots he re-treated were again quite wet when he left. He also indicated that re-cleaning the carpet 'really won't do anything' and that it could even 'damage the carpet'. With severe disappointment, we got out our own home-grade carpet cleaner and used only warm water. Our machine sucked the 'junk' out of the carpets on the spots he supposedly re-cleaned. Amazingly, this was with a $99 Hoover carpet cleaner. We also hit other spots that hadn't been recleaned and got similar results, with lots of foam in both types of areas. So much for 'zero rez'. Attached are pictures of what we extracted with our home machine. You decide if after 2 'professional' cleanings (and I use that word loosely), you'd pay these people to clean your carpets.... I can state that *we.will.not*. Signed, Sad in STL P.S. We are NOT picky people. We understand that set-in stains (like our kids' kool-aid stain from 10 years ago under a couch) are not going to come out. We also clean our carpets 1x a year with a rent-from-the-store cleaner and clean the carpets until the extracted fluid runs mostly clear. And if Zerorez is reading this, don't claim we can have you out again to make us satisfied. You had your chance x 2 and failed miserably.

The price is right. They arrive on time and do a good job cleaning the carpets. They did not soak the carpets as other companies do.

He did hallway upstairs and I told him to forget the other two rooms because at this point half of my day was gone. I was satisfied with the way the carpet looked. We were still charged the $78 with no compensation for my time wasted for one morning and one half of a day with two inexperienced employees. Also, they parked their trucks in my driveway and on street in front of house and left several oil stains. Who's gonna get that out?!?The next day I called the office bc the spots from the pretreat were visible again and bc no one bothered to contact me about this inconvenience. I was told they couldn't discount anything and that I was satisfied when they left... I wasn't about to explain to a carpet person that after the carpet dried I saw spots again. I will not be using them again. Customer service is everything.

The technician who initially came out to provide the bid, Tristin, was very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through the issues with my existing water heater and clearly explained the options. I appreciated that they were able to schedule the installation quickly--within just two days--which was very helpful given the situation. There was a small scheduling hiccup, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Joe Raney and Julian handled the installation. Joe was exceptional and really stood out in terms of customer service. He carefully walked me through the entire install process and took time to explain water heater care, maintenance tips, and the do's and don'ts moving forward. He was extremely patient and thorough, and I never felt rushed. Julian was also very kind and professional during the installation. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work and very appreciative of the professionalism from everyone I interacted with. The only drawback for me was the pricing. Because I needed the work done quickly (only available for the following 3 business days), I went ahead and signed the bid which was a little over $3600 for a standard 40 gal gas water heater, expansion tank, repiping of cold/hot lines, permit, install, and disposal. Afterward, when I had time to look into other quotes, I found that other reputable contractors were coming in much lower via phone - one almost half. The $400 fee to pull what is essentially a $50 permit felt particularly high, especially since competitors I spoke with charge closer to $150-$250 for that service. I was also interested in potentially enrolling in the maintenance program for HVAC and the water heater, but I'm hesitant because if an issue is found during maintenance, the repair pricing will not be competitive. That said, the technicians themselves--especially Joe--provided excellent service, and I truly appreciated their professionalism, patience, and willingness to educate me during the process. The technicians don't determine pricing so this in is no way a reflection of their service.

(This was after I was given a quote through fb messenger. So he had never seen our house to give an accurate estimate anyway.) After seeing ProSteam's great ratings on Angie's List for air duct cleaning, I called and was greeted warmly from the receptionist. She was helpful in providing a reasonable time for someone to come out to quote. We were getting our 2 HVAC units completely replaced so we wanted the air vents and ducts to be as clean as can be for the new systems. I received a call when they were 10-20 minutes out and they came out right on time. Two gentlemen (can't remember their names) were very friendly in providing us the free quote. After a thorough walk through, they worked up the pricing and we decided then and there to have them give us a call to schedule the service. This was on a Friday and sure enough on Monday, I received a prompt call to schedule the service to be done. They were able to get me in right before we were getting the A/C replaced so it was a clean as possible for the new units. Our appt. was set for between the hours of 4pm-7pm. Again the service tech called when he was on his way out. He arrived promptly at 4pm. Antoine was very friendly and also wearing a mask for those worried about how they handle Covid. He also wore little booties over his shoes to stay clean throughout the house. For being by himself, he knocked out the job in 2 hours. My husband and I were impressed! All in all, I've recommended ProSteam to a couple friends and have spoken accolades for their professionalism and friendliness. We felt like we were well cared for. Thanks Antoine!!!
