I was extremely pleased with the service that I received from Zerorez. The booking of my appointment on their website was extremely easy. Then confirming and further communications via text messaging was also very smooth. I had no human contact or interchange, until my technician arrived. Typically this would have bothered me, but it worked and everything was done well. My technician called before his arrival to alert me that he was on his way. When I scheduled my appointment, it was for the window of 12 PM - 3 PM. Shawn L was arrived at the beginning of the appointment window and was done and gone by 1:30 PM. When he arrived, I walked him through the rooms I needed done and pointed out the problem areas. I needed their "pet treatment". I tried to do a dog rescue and it did not work out, so I had areas that needed some extra care. I was totally impressed when he was finished cleaning the problem areas. There was stains left and the odor had vanished. Even a couple days later, the odor was still absent. The living room which had no problem areas, looked as good as the day it was originally laid. It was nice to see that they had and used protective coverings for the corners in my home. Zerorez really cares about your home and do their best to protect it. Shawn L., was super professional and polite. His politeness reminded me of the boys on, Leave It To Beaver. It was a politeness that you just don't see anymore and it was pleasing to see. Had an appointment. We moved all of our furniture out of the living room and our son's room. The technician got here and would not clean it. He said the stains won't come out and will make it worse. We just asked for the carpet to be cleaned so that it could be freshly cleaned even where the few stains were not located. They left and we did not feel happy. read more

This makes the second time we've had ZeroRez out to clean our carpets. Both times the carpets looked and felt almost new! We have them on a six month schedule. The technicians are very knowledgeable, so helpful and super friendly! They were both on time and were very efficient. Right now they clean the two bedrooms upstairs, and two flights of stairs. The technicians wore uniforms and the company logo was clearly visible. We're gonna continue our service with them and may have them clean the grout in the tile floors. We used these guys this spring to clean carpet in one room and four pieces of furniture. The furniture looked worse after they finished than before they "cleaned". Carpet was no better. An overall very pleasant experience and great service! Jachai was our technician. He was very kind and helpful with any questions. He called to inform of his approximate time of arrival, explained the process once here, and finished within an hour. It was a large living room and hallway carpets that need cleaning. They look great! The carpet was wet after cleaning, needing approximately 4-8 hours to dry afterward. The scheduling process was quick and easy. I recommend calling for services, if needed as soon as possible. As well as receiving , a $20 discount for first time Zerorez users! The guys that came were actually really decent dudes and did a thorough job. Showed me a lot of pictures and videos. I wasn't totally comfortable with the place. They wanted to cut a hole in the duct and they were open to doing something different which was great. I set an appointment for 2-5 slot. The night before the appointment I got a call from Zerorez asking if I would like to change to a 10-1 slot. I said that I would. I changed my hours and moved clients to accommodate. I called the next morning to confirm and I was told that someone had called off and they couldn't honor the new appointment. They then expected me to switch back to the original time slot. Lost a half day of work and gained a boat load of aggravation. read more

Zerorez was able clean our entire basement carpet including two bedrooms and stairs. Hubby was adamant that we needed new carpet installed after we had moved in. A good friend (and contractor) suggested hubby try Zerorez cleaning before investing in such a pricey purchase. Zerorez' prices were fair and hubby was very satisfied with the outcome. I think we paid approximately $400 for the two bedrooms, stairs and our fairly large family room. Their services are exceedingly husbands expectations and that's saying a lot. read more

A waste of money and time. Booking carpet cleaning for 4 bedrooms and a walk-in closet for around $309. Process was smooth and professional. When the tech arrived, he inspected and recommended another $ 75 per room special treatment because of 'pet bio'. Another $300 brought the total to ~ $609. Even though we had our own carpet cleaner and always cleaned up after the accidents, we agreed as this was our post-dog clean and we wanted to 'do it right'. (This is a 13-pound Yorkie, btw) Again, very smooth and professional. Tech was very nice. However, the results were unsatisfactory. After $600+ in treat/cleaning, our carpets were wet and frankly, not clean. We put several fans and a dehumidifier on our carpets over the next 36 hours, in addition to cranking down the A/C, and managed to achieve mostly dry carpets, only to discover that many of the stains remained and carpet still smelled. We called back and asked for a re-treat, explaining that many stains did not come out. The 're-treat' was effectively the new tech spot-cleaning the stains he noted or we pointed out, and not re-cleaning the carpet as a whole. The cleaning chemicals he put down were not extracted, nor were the spots clean, with the carpet just swirled around. The spots he re-treated were again quite wet when he left. He also indicated that re-cleaning the carpet 'really won't do anything' and that it could even 'damage the carpet'. With severe disappointment, we got out our own home-grade carpet cleaner and used only warm water. Our machine sucked the 'junk' out of the carpets on the spots he supposedly re-cleaned. Amazingly, this was with a $99 Hoover carpet cleaner. We also hit other spots that hadn't been recleaned and got similar results, with lots of foam in both types of areas. So much for 'zero rez'. Attached are pictures of what we extracted with our home machine. You decide if after 2 'professional' cleanings (and I use that word loosely), you'd pay these people to clean your carpets.... I hate writing reviews that are negative. But I also don't like people wasting my time. I had called Zerorez out to do my carpets at my new home. I have used them in California and referred them to many of my clients since I own a plumbing company And a lot of people have damage to their carpets. I had mentioned over the phone. I think the previous owner had a small dog in their look to be like a couple spots in the basement that needed to be taken care of. I was already paying $100 more to have the whole house done with Zerorez. The tech instantly tries to upsell me $75 more for the basement and additional cost would be for upstairs. They were going to do the whole house for $450 but I sent him on his way. If there was going to be additional chargers, they should've said that in the very beginning on the phone. Another wasted day waiting around I will no longer be using Zerorez in the future. read more

I have never experienced a service before where a person comes to my house and then talks me out of their product. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I was told that this was a temporary bandage for a much larger issue and that the carpets just needed to be torn out. While I appreciate the sentiment, we discussed in more depth with the person only to be met yet again with the hot water would make things worse and not help anything. What a joke. read more

Tried to get some of the bad spots up that turned brown. That wouldn't work talk to Eric. They agreed to replace it told me to get an estimate, then they asked me if they could come back at least try it again. I said yes when he cleaned it not like it did before they got there cause it wasn't that dirty when it dried the spots came back that they originally did because the carpet was too wet and then it smelled like horrendous stink smell. Super gross stuff is hiding in your vents. Seriously. Get them cleaned! We received a confirmation call two days before our scheduled appointment, with a confirmed three hour window on the day of. Our technician, Courtney, was prompt, super knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. He worked alone, very efficiently and neatly. All told, he was at the house about three hours. Before he left, he sent us a video that showed their machinery in action, sucking out all the dirt and dust that was trapped in our home. It was great to see the actual physical results of such a deep cleaning - and to see firsthand how thorough the job was! BTW, the office staff was excellent. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but this experience warrants it. I had a rug that was picked up to be cleaned by Zerorez. We got quoted that it would take two weeks to clean and it's now been nearly two months. No one updated us on the status and I had to contact customer service myself. It's been a week since I've contacted them and customer service still hasn't been able to give me an update on the status. The lack of communication and timeliness has been pretty terrible. We had zerorez clean the ducts in our little house. The covers on the ducts were not replaced and the furnace area in the basement was left a huge mess. Dirt and debris all over the floor and the furnace full of debris. We complained and were essentially told we were lying. We did ot pay and they have sent it to a collection agency rather than try to make things right. read more

I have white carpet. Needed it cleaned. Called zerorez. They scheduled and it was $250 for three rooms. Once at my house they Jack the price to 500 because I have a dog. There are no visable signs of pee but I'm reasonable he's probably peed. No one mentioned that they would up charge for a dog. At the scheduling I volunteered it. They tell you about their three room special, but when the person actually cleaning the carpet arrived, he wanted to tack on all kinds of charges that had not been mentioned. He refused to clean the carpet unless we paid $120 for the pet pretreat, that had not been mentioned on the phone, then refused to clean the third room, said he would only do half. For those of you looking for a way to save your carpet. Try these guys first. Our carpets were trashed! We did not think anything would bring them back and were ready to just replace them. Heard about Zerorez from Bernie M on the radio. We were ready to replace the carpets due to all of the pet stains. We called on Saturday and they were in our home Tuesday! Zerorez was the 3rd company we had come out to clean our carpets. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and over the years accidents had left our carpets a mess. I was very impressed with the appearance and professionalism of the techs that came to my home. Eric and his assistant did a great job in both assessing the job and explaining what they could do, as well as the cost. I knew this was not a standard job when we called Zerorez. This was a last effort to save our carpets. The techs worked quickly to clean the carpets and explained everything that they were doing. When the job was done The took us through the house to make sure we had no questions or concerns. Eric also noticed some issues with the grout in our kitchen and told us of other services provided by Zerorez to repair, clean and reseal the grout as well as a treatment, (which he demonstrated), to protect the carpets against future damage. We were unaware of those services but plan on using them. I highly recommend Zerorez! They saved our carpets. read more

My previous review stands. I was told about extra services, extra charges, etc, just as the other customers have stated. I was asked by the technician to give him a 10 rating and if I couldn't, then please call his number and talk to him. You don't get a 10 from me if you ask for it. I was not happy with a seemingly minor dirt smudge on my carpet, so Zerorez came back to pay attention to that spot. What a difference a technician can make! Had my (long-overdue) wall-to-wall carpets cleaned yesterday with Zerorez. The appointment set up was easy (via text), the man arrived masked, polite, informative, and he did a great job! Really like that they use 100% natural process which completely got out some nasty, old stains. (Treating those stains properly was an additional cost, which I expected and am happy to have paid.) I called for the Spring Special - 3 rooms for about $120. From their FAQ, they define a room as 15x15 - 225 Sq Ft - so the Spring Special is 675 Sq Ft. I have ONE room and 2 area rugs for a total of 505 Sq Ft, and yet, rugs don't "qualify" - why? because they are $400-600 to clean (EACH), depending on the fiber! Seriously, I can REPLACE my rugs for that amount. So, my hopes for a $120 Spring Special turned into an estimate nearing $1000. Ridiculous! I called customer service to schedule carpet cleaning and heard on their recording they also duct cleaning. I go through the entire conversation about duct cleaning and then the representative tells me they don't offer it in my area yet. Then go into the conversation about carpet cleaning just to find out in the 10 minutes I have been on the phone all the slots have been filled for the two days that I wanted which I told the representative at the beginning which days I was looking for the service to be completed. Horrible experience. Called to have carpets cleaned before house being put on the market. Told them what would need to be moved, etc. and believe me there isn't much left in the house. Called on a Monday and the only appt. they had available before Friday was on Wednesday night between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. He showed at approximately 5:40 pm and had an attitude the minute he got here. It was obvious he didn't want to do the work. Immediately told me the only thing he coud move in the dining and living room were the dining room chairs. No problem my husband and I would move the rest ( couple of end tables at the end of the couch). Next went on and on about how we had to do special treatment or the carpet would smell after he finished. I don't know what he was talking about. They don't smell now why would they smell after? He wanted to charge $60.00 per room (4 rooms) extra. The initial cost was $55.00. When I questioned him he got upset and left. Didn't clean the carpets. No explanation, nothing. Then I get an email saying "so sorry you had to cancel your appointment, would you like to reschedule?" What a mess! read more

After hearing glowing endorsements on KY98.1 radio, I scheduled Zerorez to clean all of the carpeting in my home except for one room that is not used very much. Cedric, the technician who came out said that we needed to pay more for a "deep cleaning" so I said ok. When it was finished and dry (not the same day as advertised) I felt the carpeting and it was stiff in all rooms except the one that was not cleaned. I can't even walk on it without my shoes because it hurts my feet! I called and explained this to the sales person on the phone and they sent the same technician to clean the carpets all over again. After the second cleaning, it was still stiff when dry. I called again and complained about the carpeting being stiff in comparison to the room that had not been cleaned by Zerorez and asked for a manager to come out. Instead they sent the same technician that cleaned our carpeting previously. I showed the tech the difference in the softness of the carpeting he had cleaned in comparison to the room he did not clean and he said he couldn't feel the difference. Then he asked me how old our carpeting was (no one asked me this when I scheduled the cleaning) and also who had cleaned the carpeting previously. I told him that I wanted to speak to a manager and he called someone named Mark who gave me the same story about the age of my carpets and the previous cleaning (not Zerorez) that must still be in the carpeting. I asked for my money back and the manager said he would have to get back to me on that. I thought they had a guarantee that if you weren't satisfied, they would make it right. I don't want them to try cleaning again because it will probably completely ruin my carpeting. After two weeks of waiting, I am giving up and going to report them to the BBB. read more

We had a few "problem" areas and they were very honest with us on the cost of extra chemicals and helped to guide us in the right direction. Great prices! I used Zerorez based on an ad I heard on the radio. I have long used another company but thought it time for a change. I had a very bad experience. The upholstered furniture was not cleaned ( I pointed out something on one of the pieces and the technician picked it off with his fingernail- this was AFTER they had supposedly cleaned), the carpets were not cleaned at the sides ( found dirt) and an area rug was completely ruined ( big orange spots that a subsequent cleaner was unable to get out). I also had issue with the personnel who I found wandering around my house on several occasions. I found Zerorez completely unhelpful when I registered my complaints. I contacted them to come out and clean all my carpets. I received an email with a $264.00 estimate. I told them I had some pet stains from an ill pet. I knew I needed some extra cleaning, but my total ended up being $1164.00.NO where does it say they charge you $60.00 per gallon of water they bring. I paid $900.00 for water! and I now have brown stains. I could have had the area re-carpeted for that amount. The guys that came out were nice and friendly, but I was ripped off, big time! I scheduled my carpet cleaning and was given an estimate of the cost over the telephone. At that time I was told there might be a change in the pricing due to the size of the rooms. My rooms are large so I expected to pay more than the estimate. When the technician arrived, the new pricing was $150 more than the estimate. I was not happy with such a large increase in price but I told the technician to clean my carpets. He told me he needed to check in with his office. When he came back into the house, he told me he was not allowed to clean my carpets because the office did not want a bad review. I again told him I wanted him to clean my carpets but he said it was out of his hands and he left my house without cleaning my carpets.
