Gorgeous little shop. I like to stop in whenever I'm in the area, and have bought several beautiful specimens from them over the years. My only complaint is the dozen or so little cards everywhere asking customers not to touch the crystals. They have beautiful mineral and rock specimens, but it is very expensive and not really for the average collector. They have several pieces that belong in a museum. The mineral specimens that are "affordable" for the average person, there's signs everywhere stating to "do not touch", which I get. There's a lot of specimens that are very delicate, but the people who usually go to such places, know how to handle minerals. Just having so many signs around made the experience less enjoyable and not inclined to buy anything. read more

Wow, what an amazing shop, you can spend hours in here. Incredible selection of crystals and everything related to healing and energy. Service was excellent , very knowledgeable and friendly. This shop makes my heart happy. What a beautifully curated crystal shop Zero Point is!!!!The ladies who work with there are so nice. When we visited it was a paricularly stressful time a lady fainted. paramedics had to be called, teens had snuck into a private room, both the workers handled the situations professionally and kindly. Unlike another reviewer, I personally appreciated all the signage. 'Love with you eyes love with your heart but please dont touch with your hands' I go into crystal shops all the time and am shocked by the way I see people mishandle crystals, gems and merchandise. Its unfortunate that people think is okay to pick at crystals or open merchandise making it unsellable. Its basically stealing from the shop so I can appreciate why the signs are necessary. They did have a few free samples, like an individual incense, which I took back to our hotel room and thoroughly enjoyed. I thought the prices were in line with other crystal shops. I bought a few lovely rings. I definitely recommend stopping here...its amazing! read more

A nice little rock shop with minerals, gemstone jewelry, and clothes. I wasn't expecting to find anything like this in Sandpoint and it was one of the more interesting stores in the downtown area. On the upper level, they have a wide selection of silver and semi-precious gemstone jewelry, plus strings of stone beads for jewelry-makers. There's a lot to look at in the cases and wall displays! They also have lots of gem and mineral specimens for sale, as well as some really impressive mega-geodes on display. New Age-y books, music, and incense, as well as clothing and bags, are located in the lower hippie level. The staff was friendly and chatty, and happy to pull a bunch of things out for me to look at and try on. I absolutely loved this place. I was on a road trip and stayed in an Airbnb in Montana. The host of the Airbnb recommended I stop here as I passed through Idaho on my way to Washington. It did NOT disappoint. The energy in here is incredible. I couldn't help but leave with far more crystals than I planned on purchasing. Overall it's a neat shop. I'm not into the metaphysical side of mineral collecting. I thought that the prices were a little high but not to bad. If you're looking for rare minerals this probably isn't the place for you though. Lots of the same stuff you'd expect to see, amethyst, Himalayan salt lamps, malachite, zeolites ect. read more

It's been two days since my visit and I'm still thinking about this place! I was in Sandpoint for a couple nights and had no plans at all - until I walked passed this store that said "rock shop" and then had these amazing crystals in the windows including a huge 1800 pound earth keeper crystal! After I peeled myself from the glass, I tried the door - locked! Argh! Luckily they opened a few minutes later and I was inside touching things and trying not to drool on the display cases. A wonderful space that was very relaxing and offered a wide selection of items - tumbled stones, crystal of all shapes, types and price points (why are the things I want always $3600?) Singing bowls, rain sticks, books, cards, incense and more. They offer classes and have an amazing room downstairs full of crystal and metal singing bowls! I will be driving back up to visit and make some purchases with the idea that if I spread it out, I'm really not spending that much - right? On our visit they also had a psychic doing readings for a small cost. I got one just before they closed and it was pretty bad - bad as in not accurate at all. But I think we didn't connect, she was tired and I had my friend in the reading with me and I'm pretty sure she was reading her instead! Still fun and I'm planning to go back and be in the singing bowl meditation room. And maybe buying some jewelry!
