Terrible customer service and horribly over priced for for any type of jewelry repair.

I took in my necklace to have a clasp replaced. It took TWO MONTHS! I finally got it back and it was shortened by about an inch and no longer fits properly. I mentioned to the lady that it's shorter and she just dismissed it. Needless to say, I have to take it somewhere else now. No apology, just excuses. read more

The owner sold me a wedding band with a single row of diamonds to add to my existing band. Except the band had two too many diamonds in the row, it didn't match my existing band. He promised that that would be no problem. He would remove the two diamonds and make studded earrings for me. I bought the band and he removed the extra diamonds. When he mounted the extra diamonds to make the earrings, he charged me an extra $300. No, I wasn't interested in spending the extra money. So when our business was done, I asked for the two diamonds he had removed from the band I had bought, he denied they ever existed!! I bought a wedding band with two extra diamonds that I didn't receive. I will never do business with this jeweler again, he is not an honest person. read more

MISSING DIAMOND STAY FAR AWAY!! Picked up ring and it was missing a diamond!! Here's the whole experience- We purchased my engagement ring here and needed it resized so we brought it in, to which they argued with me about the smaller size I was wanting saying "don't you think you'll gain weight..." after waiting about a week with no call, I called the store and was told there was no record of it being there and the lady was going to do some digging around -which at that point I was freaking out. About 20 minutes later she calls and says they found it. And apparently we didn't learn after this first experience because we purchased my wedding band later from here this year and brought it all in for resizing. When dropping my ring off on a Saturday I made sure to get a receipt copy for myself and asked how long it would take asked him maybe a week? To which he shook his head and said I will give you a call. So a week later I call at 10am to get an update on when it will be done and the same guy answers(the jeweler) and claims he doesn't have the invoice in front of him so maybe it's in the other room and he will call me right back. No call yet by 1pm so I call back and this time a lady answers and says normally it takes 2-3 weeks for what I'm wanting done which I say ok I'm just looking for an answer since I was never told a time frame and I also ask if they found my ring because he couldn't find the paper invoice earlier. And with no hesitation she answers yes it's here- so we end the call. And this is what shocks me the most........about 5 minutes later Sayers jewelry is calling me back. I pickup and it's the lady on the phone saying the jeweler wants to talk to me. I say great thinking it's good news my ring is actually done.. but no he instantly is screaming in the phone freaking out on me in a very angry way saying "you say I lost your ring and it's here, I told you it would be done Friday, your receipt says this and that (which it doesn't) and you just keep calling me, I said no charge what did you expect I have so much to do" and on and on. Total opposite blatant lies from this jeweler, he would not even listen to me- just wanted to keep spewing lies and arguing. I told myself I need to be the bigger person they still have your ring and who knows what they will do to it so I continued to be polite with my responses until he finally realized I wasn't playing into his crazy behavior and he ended the call....As I'm writing this an hour later I get a call saying my ring is done?!! WTF. Very back and forth. They are very much in the wrong- Such shocking unprofessional behavior from a business to call your customer back for asking one simple question. Never again will I go here and will tell everyone to stay far away. Wish I would have listened to the reviews and our own prior experience! read more

Crap watch repair service. I took 2 watches in for new batteries. 1 month later I started wearing them & 1 had a moisture leak under the lens. I called them to dry it out & reseal with silicone. They replied " We don't offer that service." They screwed up my watch and won't fix it. I'm REALLY SURPRISED that Sayers Jewlers is still in business with all the 1 Star Reviews I'm seeing. read more

Employee lied about time it would take to complete a repair. I declined the service and went in to pick up my jewelry an hour later. The repair had been done and they told me I had to pay or couldn't take my jewelry. Employee forced me to pay a high price for a repair I did not authorize based on the wait time to complete the repair and the cost. She also threatened to call the police if I didn't pay even though I never authorized the repair. This business is very untrustworthy and corrupt. read more

The repair was not done after 6 weeks. When I got it, the things we discussed were not done. He said the stones fell out after I got it back, that was the same day. They were never replaced. He was very defensive. What little repair, that was done was very basic, I could have done it myself. I was charged a lot for very little, and a bad attitude from the owner too. I will never buy from this store. Poor, rude and insulting service. Within seconds of walking in, I was insulted after I asked if they carried a specific brand of watch. In broken English, he said he could order it. I explained I had been looking for one in person for a few years. I was told to come back in a few years when I can afford it. I told him I would shop somewhere else with that attitude towards a customer. He replied with rude remarks and sarcastically laughed loudly as I exited the small store. Brought my wife's wedding ring & band to be resized & soldered together. Was told it would be ready in 4 days... They called the next day to say it was ready. I Was a bit concerned having read the reviews here after having left the ring with them but we had a very good experience. Very friendly & personable. The jeweler looked @ what we wanted & we discussed all options. The Jeweler explained what he was going to do & delivered on it... The ring & band as well as the resizing look great! read more

Took my ring to be sized and a diamond that had been lost replaced. Also asked if possible to solder my engagement ring and wedding band together. Told us no, no big deal. Then got a call that said there was no diamond missing. Okay cool. Got another call the next day and told us they were wrong there is a diamond missing, so we asked to have it fixed, told we could pick it up between 2 and 3 that day. At 3:30 we go in to pick it up, and are told he was too busy and didn't do it. First of all this was 3 days after dropping it off and we live an hour away, so really inconvenient and frustrating that it just "wasn't done." Anyway. He shows it to us to show us where the diamond was missing, and it was soldered??? Okay fine. So he asked me to put it on and asked how it felt and I assumed he meant the soldering as he said it hadn't been done. Said it was fine. Left it to be finished and the next day my grandmother brought it to me. Immediately I saw a new diamond missing from the center of my never worn, out of the box wedding band. So we call and take it in to be replaced. Two days later we go back in to finally take it home and the size is wrong. My carbon copy receipe, from them, says size 6, like we asked. They sized it to a 6 3/4. We told them it was wrong and should have been a 6, and the man came out and yelled at us saying he had video of me saying it fit, and showed us a new paper that said it was supposed to be a 6.5. First, I absolutely thought he meant the solder as it hadn't been finished, per his words. Second, I have a carbon copy receipt, written when we dropped it off, saying it was supposed to be a 6. So even IF we wanted a 6.5, he was still a quarter size off. Proceeded to yell at us and be EXTREMELY rude. We took in our receipt to show him it said a size 6, he took it, gave me the ring and refused to give us back our receipt proving that they made a mistake. Claimed that it was needed to pick up the ring. The first 2 times we got it, they didn't take the receipt. Immediately took it to a different jeweler and he took out two of the diamonds, after replacing the one I was originally missing. We will be fialing a police report. read more

Very courteous. We are traveling thru town & my husband needed a pin in his watchband. Needing to get a Rolex fixed is a pain unless you have time to send it somewhere to get fixed. Had my wedding ring resized a couple of weeks ago. When I got it back, there was a very noticeable prong at the center stone that is rough, too tall, catches on everything and scratches. Took it in today to see if they could fix it. The jeweler wrote down my info on a piece of paper and provided no documentation that I was leaving my ring there. When I asked for one, he told me I was creating a lot of work for him when he was going to do free work on my ring. I told him I hoped it was free because it wasn't like that when I brought it in the first time. He loudly exclaimed "it's always our fault". Needless to say I took my ring back and left. I will NEVER do business there again and will share my experience with those I know in the community. Awful customer service!!!!!!! read more

I am very sad about my experience with this jewelry store! I have a unique silver ring with a large Mexican Cantera opal I took this ring in years ago to be polished and have the setting tightened they did great work fast forward to 2020 I was stacking a rock wall and smashed my ring between 2 large stones it broke the band so I brought it back to Sayers Jewlers to have it repaired when I dropped it off the owner was super rude and kept insisting that I needed the ring resized I said no please just fix the clean break in the band he even implied my fingers were too fat for my ring[ I have worn it everyday for the past 15 years-I know how it fits!] Anyways I left the ring he said it would be done in 2 days I came back 5 days later to pick up my ring and they couldnt find it! I waited over half an hour while they looked through the same box over and over again and the owner kept describing a different ring and being incredibly rude to me, so disappointed I left and told them I would come back the next day and hopefully they can find it. I came back the next day and thankfully they did find it however they then proceeded to charge me $45 +tax when I dropped off the ring I was quoted $40 not a huge difference but after losing my ring and waisting my time I found it incredibly unprofessional to argue with me over $5.00! needless to say I am pretty upset by the whole interaction with the owner and I will not be going back! I am going to learn silversmithing and fix my own jewelry from now on! read more

Very nice staff, fast and friendly service. I was in town visiting family and brought a couple of watches that needed new batteries. They charged the average price, and were done in about 10 min. I use to LOVE this place, until today. I got my wedding ring and black heels gold ring in 2008 from here. I drive here from Newman lake wa. every time i need it cleaned or sized or anything. I have insurance through them for any of my maintenance as well. Well today i got nothing but attitude because their employee didn't charge me for a sizing(guess customers are suppose to know their pricing better then the employees). I tried saying its not a matter of coast with me i just wanted my ring fixed so it can be worn and was told that all diamonds would be tightened. The man working said because I'm rough on my ring (which hasn't been worn for over 2 years) there's nothing he could do about it if the diamond falls out ill just have to pay for a new one. I feel like this man must have been in a bad mood and took it out on me. It's not the customers fault that the billing wasn't handled correctly. I was willing to pay i just wanted my beautiful ring taken care of correctly. Apparently he wasn't interested in working on my ring even for money. His lost because i wont be back, Truly sad that someone had to be so rude over something that could have been taken care of with a swipe of a card. Do not trust them with your jewelry repair! I left a gold necklace chain to be repaired, and they switched it out for a LONGER (by 4"!) brassy looking chain with a different clasp loop than the one I left for them to use. Everyone I told about this recognized it as the work of "Sayer's". Take photos at the counter if you dare leave anything there! read more
