I arrived a little early, so that I could browse their gift shop items. Then, was escorted to a quiet room where I was greeted by my Esthetician, Julie. Honestly, from beginning to end , I have never felt so pampered! This was the hydra facial and I consider it my favorite so far. I like the rapport with my professional and the fact that she explained each step of the procedure in terms that I understood. I felt very comfortable asking questions along the way as well. It helped my sore back and legs. She started with standing on my back and walking and rocking gently back and forth. It was $100 + tip ($20) which I paid in cash. I would recommend them. We are now being told it will be several months more before the women have showers again because UPMC can't get their act together! There is up to 15 women taking an aquatics class with four showers, (2 in the family locker room and 2 in the physical therapy locker room), this is completely unacceptable! UPMC...STOP TREATING THE WOMEN LIKE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS! Every woman in this facility should be receiving a 10% discount until you can provide us with same amenities that the men have and if you can't provide that that is discrimination and I'm gonna find a lawyer who will sue you all for discrimination. Furthermore, I am sick and tired of the men using the family locker room as a cut through to the pool area! If a man does not have a child requiring their assistance and they are not female, they have no reason to be in the family locker room! That behavior needs to stop immediately! As of now, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until UPMC does right to the female members of this establishment. Do better UPMC!

I book the services online, usually a couples massage with my husband. Customer service calls a few days before the appointment and are very friendly and professional. I like to go early and get a run in before unwinding in the saunas. Then, a glass of champagne in the quiet room to continue relaxing before my massage. The massage therapist are great!!! With my treatment, I choose an aromatherapy designed to stimulate the chakras and they use warm weighted neck pillows to help soften the muscle tension in addition to light pressure techniques. Booking can be tricky so be sure to book early to ensure the day/time you want is available. From start to finish, our service was great! With the day spa, you have access to the gym amenities, a sauna, steam room, and the showers. There are lockers in the locker rooms to retrieve your robe/sandals and to lock up your personal belongings. Both the massage itself and the amenities were great. I'm always a fan when I book a treatment at this spa! I'll definitely be back!
