The scent is just wonderful and once you get settled in your chair the staff puts a nice blanket on you and even tucks in your feet. Sweet. The sounds of the ocean and comfortable soft lighting. Add some crystals to hold and just close your eyes and relax. Two of us fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at the beach. Made me realize how much I need to actually get back to the beach. After we did some shopping - the Tree of Life scent of soap, lotion, and scrub is fantastic. Bought one of the crystals I used during the session. Even bought a cute little bee ring. Great time had by all. Can't wait to go back.

So many great gifts and items! I could have shopped there for hours if I hadn't had somewhere to be! Now into the hair. I showed the stylist (unfortunately I forget her name) a couple hairstyles and told her to run with that vibe. She did such an amazing job! I felt so pretty when I left the salon! *I also forgot to mention that the salon mis-scheduled me and rather than cancelling, they worked to find a stylist to come in and do my hair! Superior customer service. The price was more than reasonable and I will definitely be back for next event I go to!

I thought I would go home relaxed, feeling great but I was wrong. I felt OK when I left but a few hours later my neck and back was so sore that I had to lay on a heating pad and take some Tylenol to relieve the pain. I hope this is not normal for deep tissue massage but my neck and back ended up getting so sore that I had trouble sleeping and is even still sore to the touch this morning. A waste of my time and money. I have read so many reviews with positive experiences and stories from friends saying how great massages feel but that was not my experience.

The women have been forced to share the locker room with children and men. UPMC has made little to no progress toward the repairs to the showers and steam room located in the women's locker room. If UPMC can get away with gaslighting women at a wellness center, imagine how their healthcare providers gaslight and treat women. UPMC's handling of this situation is completely unacceptable!

I like to go early and get a run in before unwinding in the saunas. Then, a glass of champagne in the quiet room to continue relaxing before my massage. The massage therapist are great!!! They have a small waiting area that has various items for sale (looked like lotions etc that you could add essential oils to). They also had some accessories and some shirts. When they checked us in, they moved us to a brightly lit and nicely decorated room. This is where we did a paraffin wax dip for our hands and made our roller ball of essential oils. They were a well oiled machine with knowing exactly who should be where when (once they had gotten everyone checked in). The wax dip left my hands feeling smooth and wonderful. I believe this is the room that they would usually use for the nail treatments (as they had nail polish on the wall). they then called individuals out to the treatment rooms. They were typical spa rooms with a place to put your things, a bed and the area with all their supplies. I'm a tall person and the bed was both wide and big enough (which sadly isn't always the case). Everything was very clean and service was friendly and informative. Definitely recommend getting a treatment here.
