Obviously I was dehydrated which is why I was at hydration center. I was determined to find somewhere else to go and ironically I found DRYPZ on Yelp...I was hesitant about making the drive to Acworth. They were so friendly over the phone "I said let's go for it" and I am so happy I did. When I arrive at the location I was taken by surprise. I enter into a very cozy atmosphere with very warm and friendly people... Everyone was so welcoming it was so clean. If something does break it's fixed within a day or two. Treadmills and other cardio equipment is all in good working order. Nice variety of free weights. The space is large and well lit. Equipment is decently spaced and easy to move around. There is a nice boxing area as well as designated area for HIIT type work outs. Locker room is always clean. You do need to bring your own lock. There are a variety of sized lockers and always more than enough to choose from. The sauna has ceramic tile floors which is kind of odd in my opinion as I am used to (and prefer) wood. My main complaint and the reason for only giving three stars is the music. Not only am I not a fan of the type of my music usually being played but also the volume. It is extremely loud and for no good reason. It literally sounds like a night club in there most of the time. It's annoying. If they could just turn down the volume a little so I don't need my NOISE CANCELLING headphones turned all the way up just to drown out their music I would give this place 5 stars.

The Acupuncturist was there at 10a with his two small children. He started vacuuming the waiting area as I was sitting there ruining my desire for a quiet relaxed pre-event. As I was getting my massage the children were running up and down the hall screaming. The music in the room kept cutting out making it worse. I couldn't relax. The room next door wall was so thin I could hear everything the folks were discussing. I complained and was given a complimentary sauna on my next visit. I asked about using my health insurance. They notified me that I could in fact use it and I made an appointment. I arrived only to be asked if I'd seen the Chiropractor first. They couldn't bill my insurance without that being done first. No one told me I'd have to do that and pay an additional fee of course. I was offered a massage at the full price not my insurance price. I was so frustrated I left. Felt like a bait and switch to me. Sure tell me one thing and then hit me up for more money after I get there. Never going back. Highly disappointed with this facility. Bad business. Should have given me the massage for the insurance price with another appt set with the chiropractor later. Never going back. Too bad. The Zen/relaxed experience I desired never happened. Don't tell me one thing and then change it up after I've gotten there. Doesn't scream integrity to me.

While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. Melissa was so extremely patient and kind throughout every interaction. I feel like this made such a dramatic difference in the life of my (then) nine year old, that took her from a trembling mess of fear over everything and the worry that terrorists would break into our home at night to a carefree child once again more concerned over turning cartwheels and twirling frilly dresses.
