Obviously I was dehydrated which is why I was at hydration center. I was determined to find somewhere else to go and ironically I found DRYPZ on Yelp...I was hesitant about making the drive to Acworth. They were so friendly over the phone "I said let's go for it" and I am so happy I did. When I arrive at the location I was taken by surprise. I enter into a very cozy atmosphere with very warm and friendly people... Everyone was so welcoming it was so clean. We got my IV in and I was hydrated within an hour I felt myself not wanting to leave it was just such a nice environment with and incredible staff I can't wait to go back...

I've been seeing Linda Mullin a few times now during my pregnancy (http://www.drlindamullin.com/). And she is the BOMB. She's so funny & personable, and really tries to teach you things to help alleviate pain and discomfort. I've been experiencing lower back pain from my growing belly, and Linda taught me some stretches that have helped with the issue. (No quick fixes... but I'd think it would gimmicky if you can get rid of back pain quickly). I like Linda's personality and style a lot. She took pictures of me in stretches so I would remember what I'm aiming for. She also made a video of her stretching me for my husband so we could do it at home. Technology and a great teacher makes for a wonderful combination! The cost is somewhat lower than what I've seen at other chiropractors that work with pregnant women: $95 for first patient visit, $35 for each additional visit (if you self-pay. Insurance is a whole other beast. If I used my insurance, it would've ended up being more expensive with not having met my deductibles yet).

As I was getting my massage the children were running up and down the hall screaming. The music in the room kept cutting out making it worse. I couldn't relax. The room next door wall was so thin I could hear everything the folks were discussing. I complained and was given a complimentary sauna on my next visit. I asked about using my health insurance. They notified me that I could in fact use it and I made an appointment. I arrived only to be asked if I'd seen the Chiropractor first. They couldn't bill my insurance without that being done first. No one told me I'd have to do that and pay an additional fee of course. I was offered a massage at the full price not my insurance price. I was so frustrated I left. Felt like a bait and switch to me. Sure tell me one thing and then hit me up for more money after I get there. Never going back. Highly disappointed with this facility. Bad business. Should have given me the massage for the insurance price with another appt set with the chiropractor later. Never going back. Too bad. The Zen/relaxed experience I desired never happened. Don't tell me one thing and then change it up after I've gotten there. Doesn't scream integrity to me.

Also plenty of nice people who will help spot you if you need it, just gotta ask! Mornings around 9 are busy so prepare accordingly if you need to go then! If weights aren't your thing you can jump on one of the many treadmills, ellipticals, or stationary bikes (including Peloton!) that are available. Lots of swim programs and and a bevy of group exercise classes round out just about anything you'd ever want to do at a gym. Don't forget the childcare options! Our kids love it and always ask to go to the gym with us so they can play. You'll love the staff, the atmosphere, and all the options for health a fitness!

Last year when my daughter was in third grade at school, she was shown a documentary of September…read more11th that included actual video footage of the towers falling. While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. Melissa was so extremely patient and kind throughout every interaction. I feel like this made such a dramatic difference in the life of my (then) nine year old, that took her from a trembling mess of fear over everything and the worry that terrorists would break into our home at night to a carefree child once again more concerned over turning cartwheels and twirling frilly dresses.
