Most of these photos are old, it's a actual gym with free weights up to 100, squat racks, benches,…read moreand machines. It's small but there's hardly any people so you'll have plenty of room. Day pass is $16, just call the number listed and the owner should help you out. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have a workout here. Also 24 hours which is a huge plus!! I could only take a few photos since someone else was in the main room so it doesn't do it justice but it should give you a better idea of the gym.

Customer service here is top notch!…read more A few of us were in the area for a brief period and signed up for Islamorada Fitness' Sunset Paddleboard Yoga class. Unfortunately, the day the original class was scheduled for was too windy to hold the class. Andrea contacted us early in the day to allow us to make other plans, and worked with the instructor to reschedule the class another day. That day came and we again got weathered out due to high winds. What are you going to do? You can't control the weather. She checked the forecast and made plans with us again for the following evening. Thoughout the entire process, Andrea and Liz (our instructor) were so kind and accommodating. Liz wanted to make sure we got to enjoy the class while we were in town and (happily) sacrificed her personal time to accommodate our schedules and the weather. When we finally made it out on the water, it was absolutly perfect and well worth the wait. We enjoyed a nice paddle and a peaceful practice watching the sunset. I can't speak highly enough of Liz, who even insisted my friend take her towel after she fell in the water (oops). The practic was so fun and was challenging in new ways - I'd highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to spice up their practice with a little something different. Even doing very simple poses takes on a new challenge and offers new visual perspectives from atop a swaying paddle board.

The vibe of the entire studio and staff is one of kindness and generosity. They host a variety of free community classes as their way of giving back to their neighbors. My favorite is the Tuesday Free Sunset Yoga. It's a perfect weekly tradition that keeps me centered and happy. The setting is perfect, right across Overseas Hwy, bayside, at Sunset Cove Resort. They also do cool things like Glow Flow for Halloween with blacklight yoga. The studio itself is in a strip mall, on the 2nd floor, next to a chiropractor's office. You wouldn't necessarily know it was there unless you were looking for it, but once you're inside, it's like you're transported. There's aromas, soft lights, sound bowls, OMs, and some really good yoga. They have local specials as well as 10-class packages and monthly deals. It's very affordable for quality yoga classes. There's towels, yoga towels, and yoga mats for rent as well in the back of the room. There's a good store of blocks and bolsters should you need. I recommend taking any class with Kathy Shirley -- she's amazing and her classes leave me SOOOO open and sore in the best ways. Jennifer is also great. I haven't gotten the chance to try anyone else's classes yet, but trust me, I intend to!

As billed, this…read moreis more of a workout rather than a traditional yoga class - faster pace, less focus on meditation, and some pilates-style moves thrown in. You still get savasana at the end (thank goodness) as well as a shoulder adjustment. For someone looking for more breathing, meditation, and longer time spent in poses, this would likely not be the best fit, however as someone who enjoys movement and exercise, I really enjoyed this class. The studio itself is located upstairs in a strip mall. There is a restroom but no water fountain/refill station. Drop-in classes are $20, which is pretty standard, however there is also a mat rental fee of $2 which I wish they waive for people visiting from out of town who didn't have space in their carry-on for a yoga mat.
