However, the overall amenities felt extremely cheap compared to the high service fee plus a 26% mandatory gratuity that's automatically added. For example, the shampoo bowl was made of plastic and could be found on Amazon for around $31, which is not what I would expect from a spa of this caliber. The experience didn't match the premium pricing.

She did a 60 minute relaxation massage that featured hot stones followed by a 30 minute reflexology foot session. This was 90 minutes of pure bliss. She treated both my girlfriend and I as we if we were lifelong friends. I'd highly recommend a visit if you are in the area visiting. If you are lucky enough to live in the area start coming here because it's worth every penny. For only $200 it was not only affordable, but it was a truly satisfying way to spend the morning in the keys!

The Island Body & Sol Spa is located at "the Moorings". This is a gorgeous property. If you get a massage here but do not stay here you will be feeling a little sad. We were led to a covered platform where 2 massage tables were set up with white privacy curtains. It was very Caribbean feeling which I loved. Natalie & Linda were our massage therapists. They were very nice. The massages however we both agreed the actual massage we very lack luster. Key points** if you get a massage on the beach you are paying for the view and feeling of being outside to the massage. I'm glad we did it but we will not be back. I need more umph in my massage! I'd rather pay that kind of money and be in a room than be yearning for more on an amazing beach.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff was so friendly, professional and catered to our massage styles (I like soft light pressure, he likes deep tissue). If you're getting a massage I don't see why you would do it inside. Outside is the way to go ! The cool ocean breeze, sound of the waves crashing, it is just so beautiful. It was perfect. The only thing that could've made this better would've been some champagne and being able to lounge by the ocean a little bit longer after our massage. The Moorings (resort where the spa is located) doesn't encourage anyone to stick around if you aren't staying with them, but I think it would've been nice to just relax a little longer instead of having to hop in our car right away. - the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Highly recommended, will be returning. PS like other reviews have said this is very informal, not a fancy spa setting, there's no sauna or steam room, more like a massage parlor. So don't go expecting full spa services, still it was wonderful !
