Trust me: Daphne's wax will not give you any rash or irritations (I always get them whenever I get eyebrows done somewhere else). She's also meticulous that she ensures you skin is smooth as it can be after waxing. What I appreciate about Daphne is she knows how to lessen the pain for those with low pain tolerance. I look forward to all my sessions with her and would recommend Daphne to anyone I know. (If you can afford it, enjoy the lymphatic massage as well. Since moving here, circulation to my legs and shoulders have been awful, and my calves and shoulders tend to swell easily. The lymphatic massage corrected much of it.) Thank you, Daphne, for your flexibility and professionalism!

The owner, Monique, is usually on site and is able to answer any questions. The location is soothing and calming for anyone who may be nervous or going in for their first service. Don't get me wrong, I usually am not chatty during personal services but I like that they check in to make sure you don't leave dissatisfied. I've never had any issues with random stray hairs and they have a bathroom with wipes and other items to ensure you're prepped for your service. Though I've had other people work on my facials, Shelly was always the best. Needless to say, I followed her when she started her own business. There are 2 rooms that are available when you make an appt. with Shelly and yes, it's part of the Pink Sands tanning salon on the 3rd floor. My preference is the small pink colored room as it feels more peaceful and serene than the other. Both are renovated and clean, but the other room just feels colder. Shelly does a really great job in making you feel comfortable and most importantly (for me, anyway), the extractions aren't as painful as they have been at other spas. The facial massages are fantastic so much so that I've fallen asleep several times. She also doesn't try to hard sell you on the products but will give you advice on your skin if you ask. If you're looking for a straight-forward experience with a friendly and knowledgeable person looking after your skin, then come to Shelly. It's been about 3+ years with her and would have no issue recommending her to my friends and family. Plus, you can't beat the value of the facial as it isn't overly expensive.
