Others never responded or said they would go by and offer and estimate. One nursery I visited sent an estimator who ignored related landscaping requests and only gave an estimate on tree removal and cleanup ($1,300). They never provided the additional estimates requested and made excuses. Garcia's sent someone out within a couple of days of making contact. They said the removal cost would be $700, but offered a discount because it was early in the season ($550). I accepted the offer. I didn't hear back about scheduling the removal for a couple of weeks (they said because of rain delays they said). Soon after, the work was completed. No mess or scraps were left behind and they didn't even ask for payment until checking on my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Very professional and responsive.

The quote was very expensive but I went with it because of the brand name and the thought that the instal would be high end with full electronic features for opening, closing and operation from within the house. Was I wrong..... What I got was a very basic, and I mean basic system, no light even for the touch pad. The iron started to rust before the installation was even complete. While some of the misunderstanding as to what electronic controls I was to get may have been on me, the whole thing was poorly executed with the gate dragged on the driveway interfering with opeining and closing. The sub contract electrician did a great job cutting the iron from the gate to clear drive way and installing the electronics, however the standard of the gate/fence instal was poor. I am now rubbing down the areas of rust at every welded joint etc myself and priming/top coating the many rust spots after spending high end money (and I mean high) for a low grade job. Oh and also installing a light over the touch pad so people can see the code they are punching in.... Save yourself the grief, do not buy from Long Fence

We had a call on the first day of install asking how it was going. I really felt like we were their only customers. No one gives one on one attention like that anymore! Second day RJ called to let us know he was running behind. He said he expected to be here by 930am and was several minutes earlier than that. We never got a response, then I happened to run into the salesman from Garrety that sold us the sunroom and I expressed our disappointment. He was helpful and the next day we received a call from Garrety to schedule a time to come out and repair the leak. The repair man came out twice as it continued to leak after his first visit. Well, it's still leaking and we are concerned about the structural integrity of the roof and ceiling if the room continues to leak. For a project that cost almost $100,000, we really believe Garrety should do a better job standing behind their work.

The materials are of top quality and the workmanship is good overall. What I have found, like many others, is that when you ask for a quote, they're all over you like flies, but AFTER the job is done, you're met by silence. We had two issues - some bulging siding and a torn window screen. No matter what number we call, we get routed to an answering machine. Does it even record? Who knows? At any rate, no one ever calls back or stops by. We'll probably, also like others, end up having to take care of it ourselves.

Carlos and Victor remodeled my entire bathroom, removing and reinstalling new tile, a vanity, mirror, light fixture, toilet and other bathroom accessories in addition to spackling and painting. From start to finish, Carlos demonstrated an extreme attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making sure everything was done properly. He does not cut corners, and he takes the time to do things the right way even when it requires extra effort. For example, he noticed that my bathroom floor was not properly leveled, something that could have easily been overlooked or simply worked around. Instead, he took the time to correct the problem and make sure everything was properly leveled before continuing with the project. He even painted door trim outside of my bathroom to make sure it transitioned well with the bathroom, something that was not his responsibility. That level of care and thoroughness is exactly what you hope for in a contractor. The spackling and painting were absolutely immaculate. I have hired professional painters in the past who did not come close to the quality of the paint job Carlos delivered. Painting is 90% prep work: sanding and spackling. You can tell when a contractor understands the difference prep work makes, and Carlos and his group certainly does. Carlos and his crew were also kind, respectful, professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home. They were extremely conscientious about keeping everything clean throughout the project. In fact, I commented to my husband that my house looked cleaner after they left than it did before they started! Another thing that really stood out to me was the pricing. His prices are more than fair considering the quality of work, attention to detail, and level of care he provides. You TRULY feel that Carlos takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be completely satisfied with the finished product. It is VERY rare to find that these days. I could not be happier with the work C&N Construction LLC did for me. If you are are fussy about the details and looking for a contractor you can trust, who is meticulous, honest, thorough, reasonably priced, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, I would HIGHLY recommend Carlos and his crew.
