Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. From the beginning, I did not feel I was given clear or forthright information. The installation process was especially concerning. The crew that showed up did not appear to be Window Nation employees, and the quality of the work reflected that. My installation took place on a weekend, by a team that had traveled in from another state, and the entire process felt unprofessional and disorganized. When I reached out with concerns--contacting both the Install Manager, Chad, and my Sales Rep, Josh--I never received a return call or email. I also wasn't able to reach anyone local who could help address the issues, which left me feeling completely unsupported. Pro: The windows were cheaper than Anderson. Reality: In my opinion, that "savings" wasn't worth it. The product quality and customer service I received did not meet expectations. By comparison, I've had Anderson install our front and patio doors, and their responsiveness has been excellent--I can still email or call my sales rep and immediately get support. Yes, they cost more, but in hindsight, I truly wish I had chosen Anderson for everything. (And Shana--yes, you were right!)

I was told one of the crew would be sent for brown trim. That never happened. I allowed them to install the windows. I feel the damage to my house is excessive. It was dark out when they finally finished. I didn't get a good look until the next day, and that was just inside. I have attached a few pictures of the damage. My son told me there is damage outside and that he picked up broken glass and metal trim from the driveway. I reached out by email, on Friday night, to the entire team and have not had a response. Mark and his team were very accommodating and aware of our needs so as not to totally upend our lives. The finished product exceeded our expectations, looks great and was worth the cost and temporary inconvenience. Because it was almost a total rebuild we needed Mark's opinion and guidance with several aspects of the project. We're not the experts but he sure is! He was happy to help whenever asked and we're glad we did. He is a true professional and was very helpful with some of the tough decisions and details that really made the final product stand out. We also had him install hardwood flooring and replace windows. All good there too! From what I've heard in researching remodeling contractors Mark is one of the best in managing the project from beginning to end. He stays on top of the details and keeps you informed. Mark offered suggestions that the first two companies did not even think of and offered a better price. We completely gutted the kitchen and added sliding glass doors. Like any remodeling project on an older house we ran into our share of "unknowns" but Mark worked with us and was quite reasonable about the costs to correct things that had to be addressed. We loved the finished project and were quite pleased with all of the workers. In 2012 we replaced an existing sunroom and remodeled the adjoining family room as well. Both rooms were completely gutted and the sun room had new windows and new walls installed. Again, we loved the finished project and were quite pleased with the workers. In April 2014, a fire at a neighbors home spread to ours and our home was damaged as well. Luckily, our previously remodeled rooms were not affected. A restoration company offered to do the clean-up and reconstruction, but we called on Colebrook Construction to do the major repairs. Mark worked with us and the insurance company. Colebrook Construction repaired a fire damaged wall, installed siding, roofing, and replaced a burnt down fence. They also did interior painting, drywall repairs, carpet replacement and replaced insulation in our wall and attic. After the fire repairs were completed we also had Colebrook remodel our laundry/powder room and foyer in June 2014. Those projects included new ceramic tile floors, paint, baseboard heater replacements, and a new toilet and vanity/sink in the powder room. We also replaced an old wrought iron railing with a new wooden one. Again we were very pleased with the job that was done and all the workers Colebrook used.

They say you get what you pay for- but with this company that is the furthest thing from the…read moretruth!!!! RUN away!!! Please do your research before even allowing this company into your home. We ordered six windows from them and left a sizable down payment in cash toward them. Due to the size of the deposit we were told by the sales man, Dwight, that the remaining balance of the job, which we financed, would not be charged until the windows were installed. This was not the case and the shoddy company (GreenSky) they used for financing attempted to take 50% payment a few days later. We obviously fought this and disputed this charge. I will say that Andersen did a good job of rectifying this situation, though they never communicated with me, nor did Green Sky, that my disputing the charge actually closed the account. Fast forward to a few months later. The windows are very nice, but they were NOT installed by Andersen professionals as promised. A company that is sublet through Andersen did the install, the men who installed were perfectly capable though I was upset that it was not what I was promised.. Since I was paying for this gold level service I expected to have personnel and vehicles with properly branded gear, which was promised during the sales pitch. ( We had two men in Kiss cut off shirts) We expected all to be good from there, but after three weeks we got an email from Dwight that the remaining balance was due or we needed to reopen the GreenSky account which had closed when we disputed the initial charge. This means that a credit check hit our credit during the initial phase, when the fraudulent charges were disputed, and now they wanted to run our credit again to open the account once more. Why should our credit score be so negatively impacted when the situation was NOT our fault? I responded to Dwight's email that he should send me a formal invoice that we would handle payment- but never heard back nor did I receive an invoice as requested. I DID however, receive a certified letter threatening legal action if this crap company did not get the payment I had requested an invoice for weeks previously. (Which by the time the letter was delivered to me, I had less than 24 hrs to respond to before legal action was pursued.) In the letter they claimed that I never responded to attempts at contact- they NEVER called me or my significant other, and I DID respond to the email sent by Dwight and even followed up a few days later with ZERO response. DO NOT ever use this company- just save yourself the headache. They will NOT provide the premium service you expect based on the price of these windows!
