If you look at the reviews, most of them are for people honoring Adam, NOT Brian! Brian is a mediocre artist at best. But now Adam left, So Brian is pretty much riding on Adam's skirt tale!
My husband got a gift certificate, for me & Brian gave me a problem for using it! Brian was claiming that, since another artist cashed my husband out (whether or not Brian was there), that the gift certificate was only to be used for that artist, which is a load of crap!
My husband specifically asked if he could use that gift certificate for ANY artist in that studio & the guy said, yes! NOT TO MENTION, the gift certificate said Legion Tattoo! It didn't have a specific artists name on it. So when I went up to pay for my piece Brian was claiming that I got my piece practically for free & treated me like a beggar for using a gift certificate. MY HUSBAND PAID CASH FOR THAT GIFT CERTIFICATE BRIAN, CASH! Whether you got it or not is none of my concern or my problem! It was a studio gift certificate, AS IT SAID LEGION TATTOO & NOT AN ARTISTS NAME! I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to get a gift certificate here.
Brian charges by the hour & not by the piece & then takes a bunch of breaks. Then when you go up to pay he tells you some bs about how it took more time than expected to do your piece. BUT IT WOULDNT HAVE TAKEN THAT LONG, IF BRIAN DID NOT TAKE ALL THOSE BREAKS! I was there for four hours & Brian needed to take THREE breaks, PLUS, his supply truck came & he needed to take another break for that! FOUR BREAKS, in a four hour period! Ridiculous! Brian is a crook!
Not to mention, he said he was going to give me a discount because he had to cancel my original appointment at the last minute. But when I went up to pay he said I wasn't entitled to the discount anymore because the piece took longer then expected. Which again, was not my fault, had Brian didn't take so many breaks. But Brian was giving me a hard time, because I was using a gift certificate!
Then I gave Brian a picture of a piece I wanted done. He not only made changes & altered my piece without discussing it with me first (before I came in), but then he was expecting me not to notice & was going to do the piece with his changes. Then he got pissy/annoyed when I told him that I didn't want his alterations! Be aware of what you want when you go to Brian, because he is not an honest person!
And finally, Brian told me that if I had any problems with my tattoo that I could come back anytime & he'd fix it. Yeah, NOT! He's claiming that he did exactly what my picture was, & he didn't! Then he was arguing everything that I wanted him to fix, which wasnt much. I just wanted him to fix two stars, add an extra leaf to a fern & a little color to a butterfly. You know, to copy the picture I gave him to copy! But now, he's telling me he's going to charge me to add those things (that were already in my original picture, that he altered & left out), because he already gave me the tattoo for free as I used a gift certificate. Argggh, THERE IS NOTHING FREE ABOUT A GIFT CERTIFICATE!
So, be warned! Brian is a conartist. A mediocre artist at best & is not an honorable, honest man.
