Every time I have had a service here, I have always asked for my nails to be hand filed rather than drill filed due to how thin they are. My requests are usually ignored When I need my gel/dip nails removed, rather than a gentle soak off with acetone and polish remover, the tech will JAM ANOTHER NAIL TIP UNDERNEATH my nails to remove them and it is so painful!! When I wince; they always act annoyed or surprised. Like hello? You are tearing up my nails. I thought these behaviors were normal and I lived dreading certain parts of what is supposed to be a relaxing service. Unfortunately I have had this happen at other salons in the area as well. I recently spoke to and received phenomenal service from a professional nail technician who works at a different salon, and she told me that these poor practices are due to laziness and because some salons want to get as many people in and out as they can.
