I happen to stop by a local jeweler while waiting to get my nails done. I asked to get my enganement and wedding ring appraised. Wedding band was appraised double. Engagememt ring was appraised less that the purchase price. Yes its been 2yrs before I got my rings appraised but I honestly thought the ads were honest about the appraisals been double. Since there claim to only buy clean diamonds. Dec 27 2022 I spoke to the Steve (Mgr) he was very direct, intensive and firmly says that it stated on the back of the receipt that only $3k below is valves double. When I told him you are being firm with me he says you are not letting me talk. You're upset. Yes I'm disappointed. Steve then firmly says will you now let me explain. I said no where in the video ads so it say that. I had also mentioned this saying double the appraisal at Jewelry Exchange in Hackensack,NJ. The jeweler agreed a well. It all boils down to honesty. When I do get an upgrade next year I will be sure to get the appraisal right away.

The staff apologized and offered me a small necklace free of charge so my daughter had something to open, while promising that the necklace would be there the following week and they would reach out when it's ready. Now here I am, over a week later and I'm being sent to voicemail and my text messages are going unanswered. Be careful with purchasing custom items from this store. It's one thing to purchase something there and in stock, but for anything that will come in later, this store may or not provide your item. I'll be reporting them to the BBB as I have not received any mention of a refund and haven't received my item.

I had a serious issue with one of their vendors (Elegant Designs Jewelry booth 52) - was given Lab Grown Diamonds valued at only $1,000 when they were purported to be genuine diamonds valued at $7,000. Whatever you do, immediately get anything purchased there appraised by an independent jewelry so you are not in my position - losing $6,000 in the transaction! I emailed Tony to see if this was a service they provided and if so, the cost. I had already met with two previous jewelers in my hometown-one sent my rings out for soldering and it would take Saturday to Saturday, while the other wanted to charge $250 and it would take 4 days. Tony said the service would be $75, including polish and cleaning, and it would be completed in approximately 30 minutes while I waited. So I took my chance and went to The Diamond Exchange. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They did not pressure me to purchase anything while I waited. As promised, Tony had my ring done in half an hour and it came better than I expected! I would absolutely recommend The Diamond Exchange for any jewelry repairs you need. While I did not purchase anything while I was there and therefore cannot review the store from a sales perspective, based upon my experience today, I would go there in the future for any jewelry needs!

First off the repair; we had left the engagement ring there for a week to be repaired, they called us to come pick it up because it was ready... We come in and pay for the repair and inspect the ring. The diamond was still cracked. We show the lady, she tells us, oh there was 2 cracked and you only paid for one. There was without a doubt only one cracked. After much arguing they admitted that they messed up fixed it. Just terrible. Now the band's.. My fiance got a diamond band to match her ring and I got a plain white gold band. We pay for them and put them in the safe til the wedding. Few weeks before I take mine out to try it on, it's a tad too big, we bring it in to get resized. Hold on to your seat. They tell us, we can not resize it because it's not gold. They tell us we didn't pay for gold. We 100% did. They pull out the receipt, it says clear as day white gold. So they go back and forth with the owner in the back arguing with him not offering us a solution. We wait and wait at the counter, no one tells us anything. So more customers come in and they go to help them. Leaving us at the counter. I just lost it, started screaming are you serious?? Can someone just tell me you will make a new ring and I will leave. They looked puzzled and finally told me to come back for a new ring. The whole time both ladies were extremely rude. With the cracked diamond and the fake gold ring. I would not step foot in this business again to save my life. Do yourself a favor and do business elsewhere.
